Abstract

Mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia mengharapkan siswa mempunyai kreativitas dan keterampilan dalam menyusun sebuah kata menjadi kalimat dan kalimat menjadi paragraf yang runtun dan bermakna. Berdasarkan pemikiran tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas 3 SD Tumbuh 3 Jogjakarta semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan menggunakan metode chain writing. Chain writing sendiri adalah metode yang digunakan untuk membantu siswa dalam menyusun sebuah paragraf berdasarkan bantuan gambar dan atau kalimat-kalimat sebelumnya dari teman-teman. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh metode chain writing terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa-siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan penelitian eksperimen dan menggunakan pembahasan secara kuantitatif dari hasil pemberian pretest dan posttest, baik siswa yang memiliki kebutuhan yang khusus dan berbeda maupun siswa pada umumnya. Pemberian perlakuan kepada masing-masng siswa tentu berbeda, mengingat sekolah ini adalah sekolah inklusi yang multi usia. Kondisi anak yang berbeda masing-masing individu mengharuskan guru untuk lebih bekerja sama dalam menghadapi semua siswa dengan team teaching pada masing-masing kelas. Dengan menggunakan metode chain writing ini, semua siswa terlihat memiliki ketertarikan terhadap menulis tidak terkecuali siswa-siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Pemberian perlakuan untuk siswa-siswa berkebutuhan khusus membuat mereka lebih tertarik dengan kegiatan menulis, meskipun harus dengan pendampingan terus dari para pengajar. Hasil akhir yang diperoleh setelah menggunakan metode ini menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan kearah positif sebelum diberikan metode chain writing dan setelah menggunakan metode chain writing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keefektifan penggunaan media audio visual sebagai kreativitas guru terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD N 2 Mororejo Kendal tahun 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 pertemuan, dimana setiap pertemuan selama 70 menit. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi, tes, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari dua tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu uji normalitas dan tahap kedua yaitu uji normalitas dan uji banding pretest-posttest (uji T). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD N 2 Mororejo Kendal tahun 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the significance of the influence differences between the use of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model on the 5th grade mathematics learning outcomes in SD Negeri Sumberejo 01 and SD Negeri Sumberejo 02. The type of research used was a quasi experiment with an unpredictable Pretest Posttest design. The subjects of the study were students of grade 5 in SD N Sumberejo 01 as experimental class 1 and grade V SD N of Sumberejo 02 as experiment class 2. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables, namely Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model, Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model and dependent variable was learning outcome. Data collection was done by test technique. The data analysis technique used T test with Independent T test Sample applied to posttest value. Result of t test of posttest value of experiment group 1 and experiment  group 2 showed that the value was in significance 0,019 ˂ 0,05, because the significance ˂ 0,05 hence Ho rejected and Ha accepted with conclusion there was significant difference between the model of STAD and NHT to the result of learning of mathematics at student grade 5 in SD Negeri Sumberejo 01 and SD Sumberejo 02. The significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes was supported by the difference average of two research samples, where the average of learning outcomes on the application of STAD learning model was 77.89, While the average of learning outcomes on the application of NHT learning model was 85.53. This meant that the learning treatment with NHT model has different significant impact compared to the STAD learning model on mathematics learning outcomes of grade 5 SD Sumberejo 01 and SD N Sumberejo 02 Semester II of 2016/2017academic year. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine whether the increase in learning activities mathematics can be pursued through the approach of PBL grade 4 students SDN Petirrejo 2nd semester of 2017. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, with research instruments in the form of observation sheet of learning activities Mathematics. Technique of data analysis of this research using comparative descriptive statistical technique that is technique of analysis to compare number of students who have high learning activity of Mathematics between cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that, the increase in learning activity of Mathematics can be done through the approach of PBL grade 4 students. Cycle I to cycle II has increased. From visual activity from cycle I the percentage 95,8% to cycle II that is 100% increase of the cycles of cycle I to cycle II is 4,2%. At the oral activity of cycle I the percentage of 37,5% to cycle II 79,16% increase the cycles percentage to cycle II equal to 41,6%. At the activity of listening cycle I is 62,5% to cycle II 70,83% increase of its percentage from cycle I to cycle II equal to 8,33%. In the activity of writing from cycle I 79.1% to cycle II the percentage of 83.33% had an increase of 12.5%, and in the mental activity percentage of cycle I from 62.5 to cycle II 70.83% increased by 8.33 %.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   Based on the observation of science learning activities especially KD 7.3, at the fifth grade students of SDN Lanjan 02 turns out the achievement score of teacher and student activity is low. Similarly, the results of learning. This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of science through the implementation of interactive learning model in fifth grade students of SDN Lanjan 02 second semester in the academic year of 2015/2016. This type of research is a collaborative type class room action research conducted in two cycles that each cycle consists of three meetings. The instruments of the data collection are used test and observation. Technique of data analysis using comparative descriptive method by comparing learning activity, learning result and mastery learn from before action, with condition after done action covering cycle I and cycle II. Based on the observation results obtained percentage of average score of individual student activity increased by 24.40% from pre cycles who get percentage 60.71%. The average percentage of student group activity score increased from pre-group with no group activity, increased to 59.50% in cycle I and increased to 81.25% in cycle II. Learning outcomes experienced an average grade increase of 17.39 points from the average pre cycles class of 67.61. This means that the application of interactive learning model can improve student activity and learning outcomes in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct influence of (1) participation in school quality, (2) the cost of education with school quality, (3) community participation with the costs of education. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. In this study were used as a sample of 63 principals were selected based on random techniques (simple random sampling). Data were obtained by spreading questioner. This research was conducted in the district of Tangerang.Based on hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be described findings of the study as follows: (1) there is a direct positive effect between participation with school quality, (2) there is a positive direct influence between the cost of education with school quality, (3) there is a direct influence Among positive community participation with the costs of education.The implication of this research is the effort to improve school quality can be done through increased community participation and education expenses.

Abstract

This research reports the assessment of academic self-concept of the first semester postgraduate students from education, language and literature study program of State University of Surabaya. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Respondents involved were 20 students (M=25.2500, SD = 2.46822) in which the determination of the respondents were done by the use of the total sampling. The data were collected using the Academic Self-Concept Questionnaire (ASCQ) developed by Woon C. Liu and Chee K. J. Wang in 2005 by involving the two dimensions that is of academic-conviction and academic effort. The result of the analysis indicated that 13 students (65%) responded to the research questioners in the value of 80-100 and 7 students (35%) responded to the questionnaire in the value of 60-80 whereas in the value of 40-60, and of 0-20 was not responded by the students (0%) in the research questionnaire. Finally, it can be inferred that students’ academic self-concept are very good (65%).

Abstract

One of the main problems of todays Mathematics Lesson is the lack of understanding and motivation of teachers in schools, so that children are less active in the learning process. This phenomenon occurs in SD N I Badran. Based on the results of formative tests of class VI semester 2 subjects mathematics of the material change the common fractions into decimal fractions and percent or otherwise low, this is validated by the analysis of the average grade 58, 33. Of the 30 students who achieve the value of learning mastery only 11 students, The rest is still far below KKM (≤70). Students do not yet understand in changing the usual fractions to decimal fractions and percent or vice versa. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects studied were the 6th graders of SD Negeri I Badran, Kranggan Sub-district, Temanggung Semester 2 of the 2015/2016 Lesson Study. This study was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 3 meetings, and each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. From the result of research by using Drill method and group work, there is an increase of student learning result. In learning mathematics subject matter converts the usual fractions into decimal fractions and percent and vice versa. Prior to the improvement of the number of 30 students who thoroughly studied with KKM 70 only 11 students, with an average score of 58, 33 with mastery learning 36, 66. Improvement of learning Cycle 2 first meetings average grade 83.33 complete 25 percentage of mastery 83.33%. The researcher concludes that the result of the study of the sixth graders of SD Negeri 1 Badran of Kranggan Sub-district of Temanggung Regency on the subject changed the common denominations to decimal and percent and vice versa through Drill method and Group Discussion of learning result increased.

Abstract

Teaching grammar within the context of Second Language Acquisition (SLA) needs both product and process approaches. Microteaching is one of the techniques to prepare students teachers to improve their skills in this area. One of the microteaching lessons in English Language Education Department, Teachers College Universitas Pelita Harapan, is called Planning, Strategy, Assessment, and Learning (PSAL) Grammar. In this class, students are exposed with the nature, principles, and strategy of teaching and learning grammar. Students are planning lessons related to teaching grammar in various grades as well as developing teaching and learning material and instrument for language assessment. Students then put them into practice in the classroom individually. Discussion on the students ‘performances will be conducted after the microteaching session. This research aims to analyze students’ skills in teaching grammar in microteaching class as well as the discussing the strength and challenges arise. The type of the research is a qualitative case study research. The data collection techniques being used are observation, reflective journal, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Moreover, the technique of analyzing the data was Miles and Huberman concept of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research will be presented in a descriptive-narrative manner by describing and discussing students’ skills in teaching grammar.

Abstract

The lack of environment use as a source of learning and teaching leads to low creativity and motivation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the SETS Problem-Oriented Education models for the creativity and motivation of students in SMA Negeri 1 Soe. The design of this study was quasi experimental. A post-test was done to test group design. The sampling was done with targeted sample technique. The measured variable is the creativity and motivation of students in class X. The analysis was to categorize t test in the form precentage. The results showed that the visionary learning SETS PBL models affects the creativity and motivation of students in learning recycling waste material.
