Abstract

Library is an important element in supporting the success of learning activities. Therefore library management should be maximized. The function of the library in general is as a source of learning because in there available various library materials, but the problem is a lot of libraries especially library school of primary school (SD) which management is less than the maximum. Source of data in this research were principal, librarian, teacher, and student. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was used the method of reduction and tested with the test credibility.  This study aims to determine the various obstacles and efforts that make the school library as Iqro’ Center for students primary state of Bangetayu Wetan 02. Iqro Center is the concept of Islamic library which aims to make the library as a center of student activities in reading and discussion according to QS. Al-Alaq verses 1-5. The results showed that the biggest obstacle of this library is the absence of librarians so that circulation services are not running. These constraints can be overcome by fulfillment of librarians. In accordance with the results of interviews, to make the school library as Iqro’ Center for business students that need to do is to adjust the library materials to the needs of students, as well as the need for motivation from teachers to build reading interest in students. Therefore, in managing the library should involve teachers and students because they are the library users.

Abstract

Globalization is an era marked by the rapid development of science and technology, so it can change the world fundamentally. Globalization era knows no geographical boundaries between countries are due to the limit is no longer able to stem the distribution of information that is increasingly diverse. One of the negative impacts of the globalization era is the shifting of local values (cultural) and religious values. Through globalization, various ideologies that conflict with local and religious values have affected some of mankind. Seeing the various realities, there must be concrete steps to overcome them. One is to maximize value education in schools so as to have a positive impact on the behaviour of learners inside and outside of school. The headmaster as a leader in school has a very important role. The strategy used by a headmaster in implementing values education in schools affect his level of understanding and practice. Especially influence on the level of awareness of students in the practice of noble values, both of which are in institutions or outside the institution, whether formal or non-formal. The use of the right strategy will produce value as desired.

Abstract

On Islamic education for students of SMK Elektronika, it has been done summary material about application with image brands (brand image) Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor (EAGLE) by literacy approach. EAGLE application is one of the principals of fundamental Islamic education in the material form. The literacy of EAGLE application material, including general explanation and important notes to the EAGLE application. A common explanation of the EAGLE application which is one of the many applications for the draft in the manufacture of pieces of printed boards (printed cicuit board, PCB) computer-assisted (computer aided design, CAD), so as layout editor is easy to use to help draft board printed circuit (PCB). EAGLE application consists of three main modules, namely the Layout Editor, Schematic Editor, and Autoroutes embedded in a single user interface. All three can be accessed from EAGLEs User Interface (UI) or user interface on EAGLE application, so there is no need to change netlists between the scheme and layout. Some advantages of the EAGLE application, namely (i) cross-program (cross platform), where EAGLE can operate on the operating system (Operating System), either Windows, Mac, or Linux, (ii) the need for storage is small, there are editions free use (free of charge) or can also have the low cost, and (iii) support of the community. Important notes for implementation literacy to EAGLE application, grouped in five vital records, namely (a) view basis, (b) creation with project new and schematic, (c) reinforcement board layout, (d) loading pathways among parts (routes of parts), and (e) checking rules for design (design rule check, drc).

Abstract

University rankings and quality assurance have become a widespread phenomenon in an increasingly competitive world of higher education. They differ with regard to their aims, objectives, target groups, and to their relationship to quality assessment. Generally, rankings are the result of an external assessment of the performance of higher education institutions; they enable transparency about systems of higher education. This paper discusses the relationship of rankings and quality assurance on an institutional and a system level. The discussion of the issue includes pros, cons of arguments and assertions following by conclusion and recommendation. A clear conception of the differences between rankings and other forms of assessment of higher education institutions helps to understand the usefulness as well as the limitations of rankings and helps to prevent false or unrealistic expectations of rankings. Abstract

Violent, brutal, and horizontal conflicts, as well as verbal abuse and slander on social media that sparked hatred in this country raise questions. Why did the Indonesian people who had been known friendly suddenly become violent? Is hospitality a forced attitude? Is the glue of unity called nationality not strong enough? Or are there other factors that trigger the emergence of violence and conflict? This paper will discuss about the concept of the Ukhuwwah Islamiyyah which is expected to become an Islamic Education material in schools and madrasah-madrasah throughout Indonesia. By understanding the meaning of Ukhuwwah, it is hoped that the Indonesian people will be more mature in living in a society, nation, and state. This article using a religious approach, because the majority of the population of Indonesia is Muslim. Abstract

The quality of education is related to whether or not national education goals are achieved as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Therefore, the quality of education can be said it is good if it meets the National Education Standards. The fulfillment of minimum standards of education which is the National Standard of Education is a prerequisite to improve the quality of education including madrasah. The reality that emerges is the quality of education in Indonesia is still far from what is expected, let a quality in most madrasah which are still having many obstacles. Many madrasah do not qualify the National Education Standards, such as educators and education staff who have not met standardized qualifications and competencies, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. This paper aims to describe how the role of the education quality assurance system in improving the quality of education in madrasah.

Abstract

The role of the mass media is very decisive in the delivery of information and a government policy. In line with the increasing level of communication technology development, the communication method rapid development as well. But all of that has the same accentuation that communicators convey messages and ideas to the publik. When detailed more concretely, the method of communication in the contemporary world which is the development of verbal and nonverbal communication covers many fields, including journalism, publik relations, advertising, exhibitions/ expositions, and publikations that will influence political culture. This paper will discuss more about the influence of mass media in education policy.

Abstract

The Strategy and Approach of Teachers of Islamic Education in Youth Religious Development is qualitative research that aims to describe the phenomenon and context in implementing religious formation. This research is a case study because the focus of this study answers the question of "how-to" religious development and wants to cover contextual conditions that are relevant to the phenomenon. The results of this study indicate that the strategies in youth religious development here are divided into three, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Whereas the approach in religious development uses a contextual approach, including planning and learning processes carried out in accordance with contextual steps. And in adolescent diversity, there are several patterns of religious formation, including a. Coaching carried out by Islamic Education teachers, and b. Religious development by schools and teachers in addition to Islamic Education. The conclusion of the strategy and approach of the teacher of Islamic Education has a positive and significant influence on the religious development of adolescents.Keywords: Strategy, Approach, Diversity Development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the values of moral education in the Kitab Washāyā Al-ābā Lil Lil Abnā ’by Sheikh Muhammad Syakir. The type of the research is library research which using an interactive model for collecting data and the data collected from primary sources and various secondary sources before presenting data. The results of this study indicate that the Kitab Washāyā Al-ābā Lil Abnā’ discusses moral education with a focus on self-glory which is divided into four important parts, namely; vertical moral values, horizontal moral values, moral values related to oneself and moral procedures. The use of language and method of delivery in this Kitab is very good. In addition, this book has a very good moral education value to further strengthen moral education in the face of the digital era.Keywords: Education, Akhlak, Digital Era, Washāyā Al-Ābā Lil Lil Abnā’

Abstract

This paper presents two terms which have differences, namely Islamic religious education and Islamic education. To see these two terms, the author reviews them from two interrelated aspects, namely the epistemological aspect as the theory of knowledge and aspects of content or material which is one of the important points in understanding the curriculum. Meanwhile, in terms of epistemology, Religious Education is more inclined to apply in educating in the context of Islam. While Islamic education speaks at the source level, in theory, the principle recorded is the forerunner of the Islamic Religious Education material itself. As for content or material, basically between Islamic Education with Islamic education as in an epistemological view, there is no difference which means that the terms contained in Islamic Education include aqidah, worship, and morals which are explained in terms of an introduction to Allah SWT, potential, human functions, and morals. Keywords: Education, Islamic Education, Epistemology This paper presents two terms which have differences, namely Islamic religious education and Islamic education.
