Abstract

ABSTRACTInclusive education (IE) has emerged worldwide since the United Nations held the international campaign of the World Declaration on Education for All. In 2003, the Indonesian government began to promote this new system by a new Law on the National Education System (Act N0. 20/ 2003) that directs its regions to have a minimum four inclusive schools. With the IE system, the school attendance of special need students (SNS) increased from 29,104 to 1,500,625. Previous studies suggest that the success of IE implementation depends on teachers. However, the results indicate that Indonesian teachers lack skills and knowledge that lead to their low levels of self-efficacy to support SNS in their classes. Many studies suggest the use of Bandura’s sources of self-efficacy theory to provide adequate related professional development programs for teachers. However, they partially discussed strategies to improve teachers’ self-efficacy. Thus, the current study aims to synthesize the existing literature on strategies to improve teachers’ self-efficacy. Adjustments to Indonesian inclusive education context are discussed.  Keywords: Inclusive Education, Self-Efficacy, Elementary School.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAlong with the times, women today, especially those left in big cities tend to play a double roles. Some of them even have multifunctionally function because they have got the widest opportunity to develop themselves. Thus work and important positions in society are no longer monopolized by men. They work in various sectors with a variety of different reasons. Not infrequently they must increase competitiveness and deal with men. These are what are usually referred to as career women.The reason of women leaving home to work include (1) filling in their spare time (2) helping to increase the cost of family needs (3) providing for the family (4) as a result of the needs of the industrial sector that requires female labor, and so on.The position of career women who work outside the home often raises new problems. Their responsibilities as housewives are potentially neglected. The Islamic concept that places mothers as the first “madrasah” for children's education often cannot be run optimally. In addressing the issue of women who work there are 2 (two) opinions among scholars. First, rejecting women for careers, by working outside the hause there will be many obligations that must be abandoned. Second, allowing women to have a career with the demands of basic needs that require them to work. The woman's energy is needed by the community and the work cannot be done by men. Regarding the first opinion, women may work outside but their obligations as mothers and educators for their children must still be fulfilled. Keywords: Family Education, Islamic Law, Career Women

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study focuses on the taÍfÍ al Qur’an education model conducted by KH. M. Arwani in the Islamic Boarding School Yanbu'ul Holy Qur'an. The author in conducting this research uses a literature study and a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research that the authors did found several educational concepts memorizing the Qur'an according to KH. M. Arwani Amin, among others; 1. Sincerity, 2. Obedience  3. Importance of Quality, 4. Patience and Thoroughness. The method applied in PTYQ, namely the pesantren which he initiated as the following; 1. The musyrifahah method, 2. Recitation method, 3. takrÊr method, 4. MudÉrasah method, and 5. Test method.While the Al-Qur'an memorization system at the pesantren which is fostered by KH. M. Arwani is divided into five groups or classes, namely: Preparation Class, Class I, Class II, Class III, and Special Classes. “Adab“  learning and memorizing the Qur'an in  accordance with KH. M. Arwani Amin, covering adab before memorizing the Qur'an, must be based on sincerity, and adab when memorizing the Qur'an, namely; always pray and always obey all the rules of the teacher and the pesantren. Keywords: Al-Qur'an, Tahfidz, Education, M. Abstract

ABSTRACTAffective evaluation is one of the evaluation types in PAI learning. However, problems found in the field, that teachers tend to ignore affective evaluation and focus more on learning on cognitive completion alone. So that a gap emerges, the values listed on the student's affective column are not necessarily in accordance with student behavior. So the problem in this study is how to implement affective evaluations of students in Sultan Agung  Islamic Junior High School 4 Semarang in PAI learning.This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this study were the principal, PAI teacher, and students of Sultan Agung  Islamic Junior High School 4 Semarang. While the object of research is the affective evaluation of PAI learning with researchers as a key instrument in research. Data in the study were collected using observation and interview techniques to obtain primary data and documentation to obtain secondary data. In the process of collecting data, researchers always make field notes so that the data obtained is not forgotten and can be accurate data. Increasing the persistence of observation, triangulation, and  analyzing the negative case, and member check is the technique used to test data credibility. Furthermore, the data are analyzed by steps: analyzing the data that has been collected, conducting data reduction, arranging data, checking the validity of the data, interpreting the data, and concluding the results of the research inductively.The results showed that the implementation of affective evaluations of students at Sultan Agung  Islamic Junior High School 4 Semarang had not been done effectively. This is because the teacher has not prepared a good affective evaluation plan and in its implementation is not yet in accordance with what is stated in the planning. The teacher only uses daily observations and observations without using observation sheets in conducting evaluations. Keywords: Affective Evaluation, PAI Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper will describe a problem concerning Islamic education in Indonesia which is still underestimated. This is very much related to the history of the Indonesian nation which had been colonized for centuries by the Dutch. Therefore, the Islamic community is disadvantaged by the rampant terrorist terrorism, and the severity of this terrorist is associated with Islam, because in practice it always carries Islamic symbols. This has an impact on the assessment of some people who say that Islamic society (santri, kiai, pesantren) do not have a spirit of nationalism. Whereas if we look at history, that Islamic society has a very big contribution to Indonesian independence, we know with the resistance made by Prince Diponegoro which ended with the Diponegoro war, as well as with other resistance carried out by Islamic communities throughout Indonesia. This illustrates how deep the sense of nationalism is owned by the Islamic community. Efforts to counter the notion that the Islamic community does not have a spirit of nationalism is to study the characters, although briefly. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the natural media in learning Islamic religious education (PAI) in SAUNG. In addition, this research was also conducted to explain the effectiveness of natural media in learning Islamic religious education at SAUNG schools. The focus of the problem in this study included: (1) Utilization of natural media in the learning of Islamic religious education (PAI) at the ungaran (SAUNG) natural school, (2) Effectiveness of natural media in learning Islamic education (PAI). This research uses descriptive analytical method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data that has been collected will be analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the results of research in the field it was found that the utilization of natural media is done by applying the learning tools implemented under the program MABIT, outting, outbound, cooking and gardening. The effectiveness of natural media in teaching Islamic religious education (PAI) in nature school Ungaran (SAUNG) managed to make children feel comfortable to learn PAI and produce good cognitive value. The conclusion of the study was the use of natural media in teaching Islamic religious education (PAI) in nature school Ungaran (SAUNG) is done in some programs, namely MABIT, outting, outbound, cooking and gardening. This makes children feel comfortable in the study of Islamic religious education (PAI) and managed to increase the value of cognition in children. Key Words: Natural Media, Islamic Religious Education, Natural School of Ungaran (SAUNG)

Abstract

ABSTRACTPhilosophy and education are two things that cannot be separated. Philosophy is the basic foundation or direction for achieving the implementation and goals of education. Education aims to shape human beings in achieving complete humanity. Even Islam offers a concept of human beings, namely the prototype of humans who carry out their duties as khalifatullah fil ardh; humans who not only have intellectual intelligence (IQ), but also spiritual (SQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ). The problems that arise, complaints about the increasingly widespread individualist, materialist, and pragmatic nature of the community are allegedly because the modern education system ignores the basics of the value of education and only pursues material benefits. This article offers a solution to answer the challenges of education in the modern era which refers to the philosophical value of education. Especially the concept of the philosophy of Islamic education taught by al-Ghazali. In his education philosophy, al-Ghazali did not recognize the separation between religious education and general education without linking of them. There is no aqliyah term without including syar'iyyah. Cognitive aspects are not developed without involving affective and psychomotor aspects at once. Abstract

ABSTRAKPerguruan tinggi agama Islam (PTAI) sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional tidak bisa melepaskan diri dari perubahan paradigma baru perguruan tinggi yang saat ini sedang gencar terjadi. Ada paradigma baru ini, kebijakan pengelolaan perguruan tinggi harus lebih terbuka, transparan, dan akuntabel. Saat ini PTAI menghadapi dua permasalahan serius, yakni kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan dan sumbangan PTAI pada pengembangan ilmu keislaman. Pada konteks kualitas lulusan, kapasitas intelektual dan keilmuan para lulusan PTAI menunjukkan bahwa banyak dari para lulusan PTAI yang belum sanggup menjawab setiap permasalahan keagamaan yang berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Masalah kedua di atas disebabkan karena geliat yang ada di dalam kampus saat ini lebih banyak yang bersifat politis daripada ilmiah. Selain itu, tradisi menulis karya ilmiah atau penelitian di kalangan kampus PTAI juga terkesan dipaksakan. Tulisan ini berupaya menwarkan gagasan untuk membangun Managemen Penjaminan Mutu dengan Prinsip Six Sgima pada Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) untuk Merespon Tantangan Nasional dan Global. Mengacu pada semangat paradigma baru Perguruan Tinggi dan problem yang dihadapi oleh PTAI ini, maka keberadaan jaminan mutu (quality assurance) di PTAI penting dilakukan. Selama ini, mayoritas PTAI tidak memiliki lembaga atau unit penjaminan mutu karena dua alasan. Pertama, khusus bagi PTAIN sebagai lembaga yang selalu disubsidi pemerintah, selama ini merupakan “anak manja” yang keberadaannya terjamin APBN, bagaimanapun kualitasnya. Kedua, sebagai akibat dari alasan pertama, pada umumnya pimpinan PTAI melihat proses penjaminan mutu sebagai tugas manajemen dirinya. Kata Kunci: Six Sigma, Manajemen Mutu, Penjaminan Mutu, Total Quality

Abstract

This study aims to find out what should be done to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Teaching subject matters (PAI) by using hypnoteaching method for students of grade VII C of State Junior High School 1 Limbangan Kendal in 2016/2017 ineven semester.This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning result of PAI in the classroom. The subject of the study were students of class VII C who had the lowest learning result.This research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle used a model or research design Kemmis and Taggart which is consisting of four components namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data completion technique used test learning result technique, where there are two tests result of learning. Those are pre-test and post-test. The test in this research used formative test in the form of objective test, the test question manifested in multiple-choice form. Data analysis technique by comparing average result of learning test before and after action is done.The results of this research showed that hypnoteaching method can improve PAI learning result with indicators, there is enhancement on the average PAI learning result from pre-test by 70.06 increased to 73.91 in cycle I, increased again to 76.79 in cycle II and increased again to 78.94 in cycle III. KKM achievement also increased from precycles of 36.36% to 60.61% incycle I, increased again to 72.73% incycle II and increased again to 81.82% during cycle III. From the result, there has been a significant improvement in the result of cycle III, so hypnoteaching method can be standardized into a model to improve the results of learning PAI with the following actions: 1. Affirmation by saying yells that involved the body movement and emotion, 2. Visualization by presenting something in the shadow alongside the members body movement, 3. Reciprocation by peer tutoring in a group, 4. Invitation the students to be grateful for the knowledge Allah has given.

Abstract

Muslims in Indonesia and all over the world have the guidance regarding moral, which is clearly mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah (the prophet tradition). They have the written value, which is directly or indirectly used as a guidance. Nevertheless, the reality shows that those great values are not always done and realized in the real life of society. Religious and cultural teaching is only as a cognitive consumption (as knowledge), no realization, so that affective and psychomotor aspects are ignored.Behaviour of society which is far from the believed values will deviate from religious teaching. The paper discusses the problems of why Muslims deviate from their religious teaching, and of what factors which affect the deviation.The deviation done by Muslims are as follows; they do not understand their religious teaching, do not pray, do not fast in Ramadhan month, do not pay zakat, do not wear Islamic cloth. The factors affecting deviation of religious teaching are personality factor (laziness, no interest, no action), economy factor (poverty, work hard, money oriented), academic (knowledge) factor (no study, no understanding), and environmental factor (relation to family, neighbour, friends, and society).
