AL QUDS : Jurnal Studi Alquran dan Hadis, is a scientific journal focusing on the study of the Qur'an and Hadith which includes the Qur'anic Sciences, the sciences of Hadith, tafseer, character study, literature study, manuscript study, living Quran and Hadith. The journal is published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri (STAIN) Curup, online and printed twice a year, in June and December. The Editorial Board invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the disciplines of the Qur'an and Hadith to publish the results of their research after the selection of manuscripts, with the peer review and the editing process.

Abstract

This article researche Joseph Schachts idea of Islamic law. As an oriental’s, Schacht has competence in studying Islamic law with history perspective. Schachts study of Islamic law on the basis of skepticism by historical criticism is a collection of analyzes in the study of the hadith of the Prophet. The conclusion is different from other thinkers. Schacht doubts the authenticity of Islamic law as a product of teaching, the article of Islamic law development cannot be separated from the interests of the ruler.

Abstract

A fair, prosperous and happy life are the inner desire of every human being. In order to realize these ideals, human beings necessarily recognize each others potential, advantages and / or disadvantages to complement each other; mutual learning, mutual giving and receiving.The presence of the prophets brought the Shariah of Allah SWT with the aim of establishing a just humanitarian system. The just society is reflected in the right and proper group life.In the context of human relationships, justice in the Quran contains three meanings. First, fair in the same sense. Second, fair in a balanced sense. Third, fair in the sense of attention to the rights of individuals and give those rights to each owner and get a social justice.A prosperous society is a prosperous, capable, and rich society.In the context of the state, prosperity is a state of affluence that encompasses the lives of all people.Islamic justice is superior to any formal justice of any human law. It penetrates deep down to the deepest feelings. One of the prerequisites to realize the harmony of human life is peace. When there is a dispute, it is necessarily settled in the most fair manner. For that every member of the community must be willing to sacrifice for the common good and strive for the common goal. Society will undoubtedly help each other to realize a just and prosperous life all of time.

Abstract

One of the great thinkers in the contemporary era is Muhammad Syahrûr, a Syrian liberal Islamic figure. Through his controversial works, al-Kitâb wal Qur’ân: Qirâ’ah Mu`âshirah, (al-Kitab and al-Qur’an: a Contemporary Reading) Syahrur introduces a new theory of Quranic interpretation, called as the theory of limits. He asserts that the theory of limits is an approach within ijtihad (individual interpretation) to study the muhkamât verses (clear and direct verses of law) of the Qur’an. The term limit (hudûd) used by Shahrur refers to the meaning of “the bounds or restrictions of God which should not be violated, contained in the dynamic, flexible, and elastic domain of ijtihad.”. By using the descriptive-analytical method, the article is talking about the contribution of the theory of limits in qur’anic interpretation that makes significant contributions to the enhancement of Qur’anic studies.

Findings of the research suggest that the views or reviews of the Quran about multicultura do not against the Islamic teachings at any rate, especially the Quran as the source of Islamic law. The diversity that exist has in fact become intellectual property to be studied, as the Quran explains it. Abstract

Study of hadīth from Sanad al-Ḥadīth, Ulūm al-Ḥadīth, until methodology of ḥadīth studies indicated that there was development in study hadīth with a scientific approach, deductive logic, and correlation of socio-historical context-psychological in Indonesia. Ijtihad scholars ḥadīth in Indonesia cannot be separated from sociocultural, political factor, background readings, education, madhhab and trends of thought that he holds. This study supports the notion that there is the development of ḥadīth studies in Indonesia. The above statement has similarities with other academic communities, such as Daniel Djuned (2002), R. Michael Feener (2002 ), and Muhammad Dede Rodliyana (2003). On the other hand, the statement contradictory of some other academic groups, such as Ramli Abdul Wahid (2006), Khairul Rafiqi (2012), and Martin van Bruinessen (1995) explained that the tradition of hadith studies was rare in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article describes how Alquran and local wisdom in the archipelago can be an inspiration and guidance to Indonesian workers who work abroad to improve the quality and professionalism, so that as to achieve a better standard of living. There are at least nine characteristic points implied by the Quran which also correspond to the values of work ethic taught by local wisdom in the archipelago, among them: Amanah & Resilient, Intelligent, Diligent & Adaptive, Talk Less, Not Greedy, Do Worship Regularly, Honest, Thorough, Independent, Responsible.

Abstract

This article aims to investigate the values of education contained in Surah al-Isra verse 22-39 by Hamka’s interpretation in the interpretation of al-Azhar. This study is a qualitative research as content analysis. The data obtained and analyzed by the method of content analysis. The interpretation of al-Azhar contributes to the values of education, it can be seen from the values of Islam from the education that is contained in the commentary of al-Azhar in Surah Al-Isra verse 22-39, namely: (1) The educational value of faith: Tauhid, repentance, resignation, sincere, grateful, steer clear of adultery, low self-esteem, piety and charity with knowledge. (2) The value of social education: Respect, affection and mutual help. (3) The educational value of Virtue: Generous, simple, keeping promises, patient and honest.

Abstract

This article essentially conducts a critical study of the hadîth of mâl al-mustafâd which is used as the proposition of the law of obligatory zakat of profession, and the use of qiyâs as the proposition set the rules of haul, nisab and rate zakat profession. This study is interesting and important because there are differences in the opinions of ulama in solving some of these issues, which are assumed by their differences in the use of legal arguments (al-adillat al-syariyat), among them hadîth and qiyâs. The analysis of the hadith of mâl al-mustafâd uses the method of analysis of takhrîj al-hadîts. While the analysis on the use of qiyas uses the approach of ushûl al-fiqh method. The results of this study show that first, hadith on mâl al-mustafâd quality dhaîf (weak). However, since it has several channels of sanad transmistion, the quality rises to the hasan lighairihi, and therefore valid as the basis and legal evidence of zakat profession. Secondly, set the rule of haul, nisab, and rate zakat profession by using qiyâs to zakat gold, more precisely than qiyâs to zakat agriculture.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how the Quranic guidance on the role of parents in building the childs character and review it through the psychology view. Translation of the meaning of the Quranic verses cited using the method of Tafsir Maudhui. The result of the discussion found that there are three responsibilities of parents in building the childs personality in the Quran, 1) Responsibility of faith education, contained in the QS. At-Tahrim [66]: 6; 2) Responsibility of morals education, contained in the QS. Luqman [31] verse 18-19; 3) The Responsibility of intellectual education, contained in the QS. Ash-Shaffat [37] verse 102. This concept is reinforced by the theory of developmental psychology that believes that a childs final outcome is determined by three things: parent factors, educational factors, and environmental factors

Abstract

Study the book of Hadith is a great importance to study, especially the study of rijāl al-hadīth, such as Tadzkirah al-Huffazh of al-Dzahabi, Sunni versions, and Kitāb al-Rijāl of al-Hulli, Syii version. This research was conducted with descriptive analytical approach and historical approach. This study found that both books discuss the rijāl al-hadīth (the narrators of hadith) from the aspect of quality that is structured in the systematic style of the book of Mujam. The difference is that the Sunni rijāl al-Hadīts are the companions of the Prophet, the tabiin and so on, while the Shiite rijāl al-hadīth is the Ahl al-Bait which is attributed to the figure of Ali bin Abi Talib. Historically, the two books are composed from the historical background behind it. The Book of Tadzkirah al-Huffazh is structured as an attempt to legitimize narrators and memorizers of Hadith from amongst shahabah, tabiin, and so on. Meanwhile, the Kitāb al-Rijāl version of the Shiah also wanted to prove the greatness of their companions from the ahl al-Bait people attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib.
