Abstract

Abstract Results of learning and motivation of learners in learning English is not entirely satisfactory. One of the causes is developed and utilized  learning methods provided by educators. This study aims to investigate the learning outcomes and learner motivation, that uses learning methods word grouping activities. This study is an experimental research conducted at Senior High School Negeri 24 Kerinci model 2x2 factorial design research. The study population were students of class VII with a sample consisting of two classes which serves as the control class and experimental class with the number of each learner is 20 people. In this study the data collected through questionnaires learning motivation and achievement test. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and anova. The results showed that: 1) Using t-test, study results showed that the Group of learners who are learning method using word grouping activities better compared to the results of a study group of learners who use conventional learning methods. 2) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the learning motivation of students of higher learning method using word grouping activities with participants who use conventional learning methods. 3) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the study, low motivation of learners use learning methods of word grouping activities with learners who use conventional learning methods. 4) There  was no interaction between the methods of learning and learning motivation towards learning outcomes after a test of anova.Key word: metode word grouping activities, learning motivation, students’ achievement

Abstract

Abstract Based on the results of the observations that researchers have done on the principal in SMA Binaan, it was found that the ability of the principal in preparing the education supervision program is still low. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about the efforts of the principals ability in preparing the program of educational supervision through the working group of principals KKKS-based mentoring in SMA Binaan This research is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 3 headmasters of SMA Binaan. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The result of the research indicates that KKKS based on Mentoring can improve the ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in SMA Binaan. This is evidenced by the increase in the ability of the principal in preparing the education supervision program from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in cycle I is 73.17 with enough category and in cycle II is 84.29 with good category. Abstract

Abstract Achievement or not the purpose of learning is determined by many factors such as teachers in implementing the process of teaching and learning, because teachers can directly influence, foster and improve students intelligence and skills. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education maximally, the role of teachers is very important and expected teachers to have a good method of teaching and able to choose the appropriate learning methods and in accordance with the concepts of subjects to be delivered. One of the proper learning model in science learning is Snowball Throwing learning model. Problems to be studied in this research are: Is it through the use of Snowball Throwing learning model to improve the results of science fantasy Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau? The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of IPA Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau through the Snowball Throwing learning model. This study used a classroom action research of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, reflection. Target of this research is student of Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the analysis result of IPA learning model has positive impact in improving student learning outcomes marked by the improvement of students learning mastery in every cycle, that is cycle I 52.63%, and cycle II 94.37%. The conclusion of this research is the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive influence, that is to improve student learning outcomes which is indicated by the average of students answers stating that students are interested and interested in the learning model of Snowball Throwing so that they become motivated to learn.  Keywords: Science, Snowball Throwing learning mode

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the application of historical learning model Through academic supervision with realistic approach in SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. This study is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. Research subjects consisted of 6 teachers of SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The results showed that the application of historical learning models through academic supervision with realistic approach can improve the quality of student learning in SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. This is evidenced by the application of historical learning models through academic supervision with realistic approach can improve the quality of student learning in SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of students and teachers to make learning models in cycle I is 48 with less category and in cycle II is 82.66 with good category. Abstract

Abstract: Geography teaching essentially develops students ability to recognize and understand natural phenomena in relation to spatial and territorial. When learning georafi students sometimes feel bored and lazy to learn the theory because it is considered difficult and difficult to understand so participate in Field Work Lecture (KKL). Field Work Lectures function applying theory in the classroom with in the field so it will affect the learning achievement and effectiveness of learning. The method used is qualitative method. The subjects of this study are students who will conduct workshops lapanga on cartography courses, cartographic pratik, remote sensing and interpretation of aerial photography. Data analysis begins with an interview to the subject of research on Field Work Lecture, while for the interest of learning data used tabulation then depicted in graph. Referral The development of learning field work field in education majors Geography Education Geography STKIP Pesisir Selatan is in accordance with field teaching approaches field work put forward by Rice and Bullman. Implementation of Field Work Lectures in Geography Education STKIP Pesisir Selatan consists of preparatory, implementation, and post-field work. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about Improvement Efforts of student learning outcomes in sub English subjects Express the meaning and step retrika in the essay by using the variety of written language accurately, fluently and acceptable in the context of everyday life in text form: explanation Through Task-based Learning in Class XII IPS.2 SMA N 1 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This study is a classroom action research. The research procedure in this research includes planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. Research subjects consisted of 26 students of Class XII IPS.2 SMA N 1 Talamau. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been proposed, it can be concluded that Task-based Learning can improve student learning outcomes in sub English subjects Express the meaning and step retrika in the essay by using variety of written language accurately, fluently and acceptable in the context of daily life -day in text shaped: explanation in SMA N 1 Talamau. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Abstract

 Abstract This study aims to describe and obtain information about to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia through cooperative learning type model of talking stick in Class I SDN 35 Sungai Limau. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 6 students of Class I SDN 35 Sungai Limau. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been put forward, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model type of talking stick can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects in SDN 35 Sungai Limau. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I was 69.55 (enough) increased to 84.09 (good) with an increase of 14.55. Abstract

Abstract Based on the assessment of learning outcomes in the English lesson about reading reading text that genre "Discussion" in grade XII students IPA.1 SMAN 1 Pasaman, found the value is still very low or did not reach KKM is 80. The average score of reading comprehension of students is still is under the KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about efforts to improve students reading comprehension in English subjects on text in the form of discussion through the model of Arguing. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. Research subjects consisted of 30 students of class XII IPA1 SMAN 1 Pasaman. The data were collected using observation sheet and daily test. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been put forward, it can be concluded that the model of arguing can improve students reading comprehension in English subjects, especially text in the form of Discussion in SMAN 1 Pasaman. The reading comprehension of students increases from cycle I to cycle II. Abstract

Abstract Discipline must be established within a school organization. Without the support of good teacher discipline, it is difficult for schools to realize their goals. So, discipline is the key to a schools success in achieving its goals. Lack of teacher discipline in SMP Negeri 5 percy sir, because there are still many teachers who do not understand the rules that exist in school, as there are many teachers who arrived late, and late into the classroom, there are still many teachers who leave the time the subject takes place. This research uses quantitative approach with correlation. Correlational research is intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two variables. Population amount in this study as many as 55 respondents. While the sample amounted to 48 respondents. The result of this research are: 1) the calculation result of regression of Y over X shows F arithmetic regression obtained 10,740 while price Ftabel with dk pembilang 1 and dk denominator 46 at significance level α = 0,05 is 4,042. Apparently the price of F arithmetic (10,740) is greater than the price of F table (4,042) it can be concluded that the regression coefficient of Y over X means at the significance level α = 0.05. This means that the regression direction coefficient Ŷ = 44,095 + 0,330 X so it can be concluded there is relationship between organizational culture with teacher work discipline. Based on the results of research and discussion that have been put forward, it can be concluded that Brainstorming Method can improve student learning outcomes in sub subject chemistry Determine the type of salt that has hydrolysis in water and measure and calculate the pH of the salt solution at SMAN 1 Talamau. Student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II.
