Abstract

Abstract Results of learning and motivation of learners in learning English is not entirely satisfactory. One of the causes is developed and utilized  learning methods provided by educators. This study aims to investigate the learning outcomes and learner motivation, that uses learning methods word grouping activities. This study is an experimental research conducted at Senior High School Negeri 24 Kerinci model 2x2 factorial design research. The study population were students of class VII with a sample consisting of two classes which serves as the control class and experimental class with the number of each learner is 20 people. In this study the data collected through questionnaires learning motivation and achievement test. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and anova. The results showed that: 1) Using t-test, study results showed that the Group of learners who are learning method using word grouping activities better compared to the results of a study group of learners who use conventional learning methods. 2) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the learning motivation of students of higher learning method using word grouping activities with participants who use conventional learning methods. 3) Using t-test, there is a significant difference between the results of the study, low motivation of learners use learning methods of word grouping activities with learners who use conventional learning methods. 4) There  was no interaction between the methods of learning and learning motivation towards learning outcomes after a test of anova.Key word: metode word grouping activities, learning motivation, students’ achievement

Abstract

Abstract Based on the results of the observations that researchers have done on the principal in SMA Binaan, it was found that the ability of the principal in preparing the education supervision program is still low. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about the efforts of the principals ability in preparing the program of educational supervision through the working group of principals KKKS-based mentoring in SMA Binaan This research is a school action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, obeservation and reflection. This study consists of two cycles with four meetings. The subjects consisted of 3 headmasters of SMA Binaan. Research data was collected using obeservation sheets. Data were analyzed using percentages. The result of the research indicates that KKKS based on Mentoring can improve the ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in SMA Binaan. This is evidenced by the increase in the ability of the principal in preparing the education supervision program from cycle I to cycle II. The average ability of headmaster in preparing the education supervision program in cycle I is 73.17 with enough category and in cycle II is 84.29 with good category. Abstract

Based on the results of student learning x.8 Class SMAN 1 Valley Crossing in Mathematics sub Perform algebraic manipulation in the engineering calculations relating to comparisons, functions, equations and trigonometric identities found that results for students in the subjects of Mathematics sub Perform algebraic manipulation in the calculation related technical comparison, functions, equations and trigonometric identities are still very low. The average student learning outcomes are still under KKM. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about the efforts to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics sub Perform algebraic manipulation in the engineering calculations relating to comparisons, functions, equations and trigonometric identities through Cooperative Learning Model in the Classroom Learning Reciprocal x.8 SMAN 1 Valley Crossing West Pasaman.This research is a class act. The procedure in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles of the four meetings. Subject of the study consisted of 30 students Grades x.8 SMAN 1 Valley Crossing. Data were collected by using observation sheet and daily tests. Data were analyzed using percentages.Based on the results of research and discussion that has been raised, it can be concluded that the Model Cooperative Learning Reciprocal Learning can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics sub Perform algebraic manipulation in the engineering calculations relating to comparisons, functions, equations and trigonometric identities in SD N 09 Pasaman. Learning outcomes of students from the first cycle to the second cycle. The results of students in the first cycle was 54.02 (Enough) increased to 84.62 (good) with an increase of 30.60%.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to describe the four things. The first, is the categories of words that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The second is the kinds of meaning that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The third is the semantic field that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The last is the development stage of semantic acquisition of children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang This research was a qualitative research. It tried to understand the children age 2,6-5,0 language acquisition at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The sources of data were the subject of research (the pupils) and the respondents (the teachers). The research instruments were the researcher it self and supported by data instrumentation. Ther method of data gathering was listening method. This method was used to listen the language acquisition by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The validity technique of this research was the researcher’s pesverance. Data analysis was conducted by several steps based on the research purposes.The findings of research shown the pupils of PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang were, (1) the children were able to use verb, adjective, nominal, pronoun, number, adverb and action verb in base from as well as the derivative, (2) the children were able to understand and use the language containing lexical, grammatical, referential, non referential, denotative and word meaning, (3) most of children acquired the word in action semantic field, and (4) the children had tendency in semantic acquisition in semantic field stage. Keywords: Children Age 2,6-5,0 Language Acquisition

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes through the use of IPS Learning Model Concept Attainment in VI.C grade students of SDN 09 Pasaman. This study uses classroom action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data obtained is qualitative data. From the analysis of Learning Model Concept Attainment had a positive impact in improving student learning outcomes characterized by increased mastery learning students in each cycle, the first cycle (60.00%), the second cycle (88.57%). The conclusion of this study is Learning Model Concept Attainment has a positive influence, that can improve student learning outcomes are indicated with an average response of students stating that students are interested in and are interested in learning Model Concept Attainment so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Abstract Based on observations and the author supervision of a teacher in SMAN 1 Valley Crossing West Pasaman, it was found that the Teacher Competence in preparing the RPP is still low. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about improving teacher competence in preparing the RPP through academic supervision of the school principal in SMAN 1 Valley Crossing Barat. Penelitian Pasaman of a school action research. The procedure in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles of the four meetings. Subjects consisted of 29 teachers, all teachers at SMAN 1 Valley Crossing West Pasaman who are teachers trained investigators. Data were collected by using observation sheet. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the academic supervision of the school head can improve teacher competence in formulating deploy Plan Learning in SMAN 1 Valley Crossing West Pasaman. It is seen from the readiness of teachers in the implementation of learning. Besides, based on the results penilitian conducted average value RPP made by teachers also undergo increase of the cycle of the average value of 50.19 and 80.75 in cycle two (good). Keywords: Competence Teachers, Prepare lesson plans, Academic Supervision

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padang di lihat dari lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padang pada tahun 2010 terdiri dari 8 sekolah tingkat pertama di kota padang penelitian diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 102 siswa. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padang karena kontribusi kecil (33,9%), (2) Terdapat pengaruh lingkungan sekolah dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padang dengan kontribusi kecil (21,5%), (3) Terdapat pengaruh lingkungan masyarakat dalm penanaman pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padang karena kontribusi sangat kecil (8,7%) dan (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat secara bersama-sama dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter di sekolah menengah pertama di kota padangkarena kontribusi cukup besar (47,4%).

Abstract

AbstrakBased on the observations that have been researchers did To the Teacher in SMP N 4 Pasaman, it was found that the ability of Master in Teaching Completeness Preparing still low. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of Teacher In Teaching Through Completeness Develop In-House Training at SMP N 4 Pasaman .Penelitian a school action research. The procedure in this research include planning, action, observation and reflection. The study consisted of two cycles of the four meetings. Subjects consisted of 9 people Master SMP Negeri 4 Pasaman. Data were collected by using observation sheet. Data were analyzed using persentase.Hasil research shows that through In-House Training can improve Capability Teachers Teaching In Developing Completeness. This is evidenced by the increased ability Completeness Develop Teaching Teachers In the first cycle to the second cycle. On average ability skills of teachers in the Teacher In Capabilities Establish Teaching Completed in the first cycle was 49.33 with less category and the second cycle is 83.66 with both categories.Keywords: Improving the ability of teachers, teaching completeness Develop, In- HouseTraining.
