Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika yang diperoleh siswa SMPN 1 Ranah Pesisir Masih rendah. Hal ini terjadi karena proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Selain itu, kurangnya penguasaan materi prasyarat juga merupakan salah satu kendala yang ikut mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dapat  dilakukan untuk mengatasi adalah dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dua kelas yang dikelompokkan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas  eksperimen pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share , sedangkan pada kelas Kontrol pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan Model Konvensional. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes belajar yang analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisi data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan   pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan Model pembelajaran Think Pair Share lebih baik dari pada siswa yang pembelajaran menggunakan model konvensional

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the competencies that principals must have in the 21st Century. Writing this article uses the literature review method, is there a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique by looking for theoretical references relevant to the cases or problems found. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusions that answer the problem of this research are (1) the principal is someone who is given the task of leading a school, (2) the intended leadership is the ability to influence organizational resources to move to follow orders to achieve goals (4) effective principal's leadership in terms of entrepreneurial leadership, exemplary, intelligent, and democratic, (4) the 21st century is the era of technological advances in the fields of information, communication, and transportation, (5) the characteristics the 21st century which are available access anytime, faster computing, and communication that can be done from anywhere and anywhere, (6) Competencies that principals must have to face the 21st century, namely dimensions of personality, managerial, entrepreneurial, supervision, and social competence.

Abstract

Pemimpin dalam organisasi sangat penting karena pemimipin menentukan berjalan atau tidaknya roda pemerintahan. Mengingat pentingnya pemimpin, dapat diketahui bahwa fungsi utama pimimpin pada satuan pendidikan, seperti kepala madrasah adalah menciptakan situasi belajar mengajar sehingga guru-guru dapat mengajar dan murid-murid dapat belajar dengan baik. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik yang mana mengkaji teori-teori para ahli tentang segala hal yang berkaitan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam satuan pendidikan islam, kemudian di lakukan analisa agar menemukan upaya prefesionalisme guru dalam mengajar. Hal yang akan di bahas pada tulisan ini bagaimana kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, tugas kepala sekolah mengembangkan profesionalisme guru serta kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan prosionalisme guru, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini dapat mengembangkan guru sebagai pengajar yang andal, dan dapat membentuk watak dan akhlak serta mencedaskan kehidupan anak bangsa.

Abstract

The aim of this study as follows. (1) describe the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work, (2) describe the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Singapore Rachmadi, (3) describe the dominant illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Three Seniors Streets Benny Rachmadi Singapore to work. This research is a qualitative research method in this study deskriptif.Data main character in the form of narrative discourse Seniors comic Three Roads to Singapore Work Rachmadiyang Benny containing illocutionary speech acts. Data collection techniques used in this study is the technique of note, which is a technique used by researchers dealing with the use of written language. Based on the research results, it was concluded the following. First, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to the work of Benny Rachmadi Singapore found 28 utterances. Representative speech acts found 13 utterances, 11 utterances directive, and the declaration of 4 utterances. Second, the function of illocutionary speech acts used the main character in the comic discourse Seniors Three Roads to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi found 12 utterances. Competitive speech act functions found 3 tuturanmenyenangkan 3 utterances, working 3 utterances, and found 3 contradicts speech. Third, the type of illocutionary speech acts used the dominant discourse of the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is representative speech act, illocutionary speech acts and functions of the dominant discourse used the main character in the comic Three Seniors Streets to Singapore by Benny Rachmadi is no dominant speech acts.

Abstract

Generally elementary school students tend to like learning activities with different actions and movements and like the use of visual media. Another problem that is often found in elementary school students is having a very short attention span (short attention span), so they are usually easily bored with learning activities after 7-10 minutes. The tendency of using conventional and monotonous methods given by the school to children, apparently still does not motivate students to study English regularly. Therefore, it is necessary to have innovative and creative actions to minimize the anxiety felt by the school, as well as knowing the talents and learning interests of elementary school students in the English language needs which can be applied in daily activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship of reading interest with news writing skills of class VIII SMP 24 Padang. The sample in this study amounted to 40 students whose sampling was done by proportional random sampling. Data collection is done through questionnaires and performance tests. Questionnaire is used to determine the level of mastery of students' reading interest, performance tests are conducted to find out the results of news writing skills. Data analysis and discussion were carried out descriptively correlational. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the following research findings. First, the level of mastery of reading interest in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 24 Padang is quite adequate, which is equal to 67.85. Second, the level of mastery of news writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 24 Padang is quite sufficient, which is 73.5. Third, the correlation coefficient of reading interest with news writing skills is quite sufficient at 0.448.

Abstract

Flood disaster is one of the natural disasters that cause huge losses, especially in West Sumatra Province. For this reason, a disaster alert attitude is needed by the community and students as a form of disaster mitigation, one of which is through disaster-oriented learning activities through Geography. This study aims to identify areas in West Sumatra that are potentially affected by floods and identify the types of floods that often occur in the West Sumatra region in order to determine disaster mitigation efforts. The type of research conducted is qualitative descriptive. The method used is the study of literature from various references, both reading sources and data from the West Sumatra BNPB and BPBD. The type of data used is data obtained from documentation techniques, relevant sources, and disaster data from West Sumatra BPBD and BNPB. The results of this study show that the most potentially flooded areas are Padang Pariaman Regency, 50 Kota Regency, Agam Regency, Sijunjung Regency. Types of flooding that often occur are river flooding, flash floods, and urban drainage floods. It was concluded that the implementation of flood-oriented geography learning was most appropriate to be carried out in these 4 Regency.

Abstract

Guru merupakan salah satu tenaga kependidikan yang mempunyai peran sebagai salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan tujuan pendidikan, karena guru yang langsung bersinggungan dengan peserta didik, untuk memberikan bimbingan yang akan menghasilkan tamatan yang diharapkan. Guru merupakan sumber daya manusia yang menjadi perencana, pelaku dan penentu tercapainya tujuan organisasi. Guru merupakan tulang punggung dalam kegiatan pendidikan terutama yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Adapun rumusan masalah yang penulis ajukan sebagai objek penelitian yaitu: Bagaimanakah manajemen pengembangan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di MTs Wahid Hasyim? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi proses pengadaan guru, untuk mengungkap proses penempatan guru, untuk memaparkan proses pembinaan guru, untuk menemukan proses pemberian kompensasi kepada guru, dan Menerangkan proses pemberhentian guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan sumber data penelitian primernya adalah kepala madrasah, pengurus yayasan, dan guru sedangkan sumber data sekundernya adalah staf administrasi, dan peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yakni; wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk metode analisis datanya adalah menggunakan analisis induktif. Dari hasil tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Manajemen Pengembangan Guru di MTs Wahid Hasyim belum maksimal sehingga masih perlu adanya pembenahan-pembenahan

Abstract

AbstractProblems found in Sungai Limau 2 Public Elementary School toward teacher books and student books that researchers did still find material substance that is not in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. This research is research & development (R & D). This study aims to describe the feasibility of teaching materials in validity, effectiveness and practicality. Research and development is a research method used to develop or validate products used in education and learning. The development of teaching materials is based on the development of the ADDIE model (analysis, design, develop, implement and evaluation). First, the analysis phase is the first stage carried out by someone developing a learning module. Secondly, the design is based on what has been formulated in the analysis phase. Third, the development stage, namely the production stage, everything that has been made in the design stage is then realized. Fourth, the implementation phase is the implementation of the learning module that is ready for student use. Fifth, evaluation phase, which can be done in formative and summative forms.The results of the study show that short story text teaching materials based on the developed scientific approach are valid, practical, and effective.
