Abstract

Indonesian  ideal   of  national  education  demands   contained in  the   legislation of  the   republic of  Indonesia  NO.20 of  2003  on National Education  System  requires bom   protege  of  the  national education system  is  a protege of  the  faithful,   devoted  to  God Almighty,    noble,   healthy,    knowledgeable,     capable,   creative, independent,     and     become    citizens    of     a    democratic    and responsible.   The   curriculum as  a  guideline  implementation  of educational  activities  has   been   trying to  implement  the  demands of the  national educational ideal, but  in  the  last few   yeaTS what   it was   designed and   implemented  by  a guidance curriculum has  not been  fully   produce  in  accordance  with   the   dem.ands  of  national education in the  republic of Indonesia  Law  No. 20  in 2003. Curriculum 2013 is designed  to be  able  to bring  the  national education   towards   achieving   the   ideal    of   national  education demands    both   in  terms  of  cognitive  abilities, psychomotor   and affective dynamics  of life in  the  increasinqlu fierce global world .. Especially   on   affective   competencies   in   the    Curriculum 2013 actually got  Q   P€ry s, a egic place  for  the  successful  achievement of   the   purpose   of   the    national   education.    The    achievement explicitly resting intact on  KI.1  and  KI.2  KI.  3.  and  KI. 4 in  which the first   two  KI KI basis for.  3 and  KI. 4 Observing  the   characteristics  of  Curriculum 2013  through the  achievement  of the  core  competencies is the  one  explicitly said that    the    curriculum  2013   will   undoubtedly   give    birth   to   the students   who   have   the  maturitu  of personal  morality  and   social morality-global.   through" placement    KI.1     and    KI.    2   on   each competency   to   be   achieved   by   the   students   in   their   learning experience

Abstract

The   main   goal    of   this    study   is  to  find     out   the correlation between  students   Islamic  moral values    and   their English  achievement    in   the   implementation   of   the   Scientific Approach  Through ICT  of     Curriculum 2013     at  Junior  High Schools.  The   research utilizes  a  mixed  method  of  quantitative and   qualitative  research  with    a  quasi  experimental  study   of pretest-postest   non  equivalent control group design.  The  sample of  the   study   comprised  160   students   and   three   Junior  High schools  in  Kampar  regency  of  Riau   province.  The   schools  are State    Junior  High   School  number   1   (SMPN 1)  Bangkinang, Private Islamic Junior High   School of  Assalam  (M.Ts As-Salam) and      State    Junior  High   School  number   1  (SMPN 1) Kampar Timur.  The   scientific approach  with   three  aspects  of  attitude, skill     and     krwwledge    competencies    through       information Technology (ICT)and Islamic moral values  are  integrated in  this study.  Data   are  coUected using  a  test   to  measure  the  students English  achievement;  then,    observation  and   questionnaire  are administered  to investigate  the  students   Islamic moral values. Three  research  questions  are  proposed   in  this   research   The findings  show significant relationship between  English language achievement   and   Islamic  moral  values   through  the   scientific approach  through ICT  of  curriculum 2013.  At  last,   the  research finding  hopefully  able   to  become  a  model for  English  teaching instruction in Riau province locallly and  in Indonesia nationally.

Abstract

Human  behavior is  the   realization  of  a  character personality. Good behavior portray  the  character of  a good  personality,  and personality   traits  portray   evil   behavior is  not   good.  Then  it should start   to improve the  behavior of improvements personality traits.  The  formation  of  good   character  in  personality  can   be done      through    mujahadah     and      muraqabah.     Mujahadah meaningful  earnestness   seek    shaping  the  personality  traits. It can  be  done   in three stages,  namely  takhalli, tahalli, and  tajalli. While  significant   muraqabah   instill  feelings   of   self    always monitored  or  spied on  by  God  in  every second journey  through life.  People who  have   done   mujahadah  through three stages   are then    implanted   in   him    muraqabah,   can    keep    himself  from reprehensible   behavior  or   deviant    Therefore,  the   feeling is monitored  or  spied  on   by   God   to  make   uncomfortable  doing forbidden

Abstract

This    study   aims   to   examine   the    relationship   between   the theology of  Gods  power  with   religious prejudices  and   religious prejudices  difference  between  high   school students,   vocational and  Islamic Senior High  School. The data   were   obtained in  the form   of  scale theology instrument  of  Gods power  and  the  scale of  religious prejudice.  The   Item   scale  of  theology  God   has a different  power  ranged from    0.300  to  0.626,  with   an  internal consistency  of 0.691. Item  scale religious prejudice  has  different power  between  0.333  to  0.820, with   an  internal consistency  of0.838.  The  research  sample  was    968   high   school students  in Pekanbaru.  The  results of correlation analysis  showed  that  there is a negative relationship between  theology power  of  God unth. the   religious prejudices   of  -0.125 with    a  signi.fi.cance level   of0.000.    And     there   are    differences    between    the     religious prejudices  SMA, SMK, and   MA.  the  F  value of  146.182 with   asignificance of 0.000

Abstract

This  research examines  the  issue   of  substance  abuse among first   year   students  of  National University of Malaysia. A total  of  1000 students  aged 18 until  23  years old comprising 271 male and   729 female  students   were  involved in  the  study.  To measure    the     level   of    tendency    to    abusedrugs,     SASSI-2(Substance  Abuse  Subtle  Screening), a psychology  measuring instrument   was    used,  containing 8  scales  which  are   Family friends    risk,    Attitude,   symptom,    Obvious  attributes,   subtle attributes,  Defensiveness,  Supplemental  addiction measure  dan Correctional. Meanwhile,  religiosity instrument  is  used   for   the purpose  of  measuring the  practice of  religious duties.   From the independent  sample t-test and  Multivariate Analysis  of  Variance (MANOVA) conducted,   differences   in   the   pattern   of substanceabuseamong      male    and     female     students     were identified.  The  result of  multivariate analisis covariate test (MANCOVA)showed  that  religiosity can  be  a determining factor in the tendency  of students  to be involved in substance  abuse
