Abstract

In muslim’s community, there is an opinion that when i’ed days are on Friday so there is rukhshah (relief), i.e muslims are not necessary  to perform the Friday prayers, even more than that-dhuhur prayer is not mandatory. These assumptions are developed in response to the hadith. Hadith authenticity needs to be investigated by using  hadith research method. When observed for the emergence of this tradition based on what was stated in the Hadith, the tradition is referred to as "ahl al-‘awali”  (remote residents) were estimated when they return to the village where they lived, they would no longer be able to perform Friday prayers with the prophet. Based on the understanding of the causes emergence of this Hadits, the leeway given to the prophet is for those who live far from the place in which the Friday prayer is perfoemed. Rukhshah law is an exception to the law  azimah’ which can be applied whenever there is masyaqqah in  mukallaf that if he is still implemented by   ‘azimah’, at least it will bring trouble. In fact, Islam does not give trouble to mukallaf in performing religious teachings.

Abstract

Akidah and  akhlak have a great influence in the making of Islamic law. Islamic law which is usually called as syariah can be regarded as unification of akidah and akhlak so that these three disciplines should be understood wholly because they can not be separated. Islamic law is projected to create moral people. This is because they are created by Allah in noble cratures and given some advantages which are different from other cratures. By referring Islamic law, people will have honor since it provides references to be a perfect person (insan kamil)

Abstract

Due to various terrorist incidents committed by the radical-international terrorism, there are many human and property casualties brought concerns from many quarters. In general, actors of radicalism never get the formal and non-formal education in religious institutions. Some underestimate religious educational institutions. The above conditions led some to worry, while religious institutions are not able to transform religious and cultural values of local wisdom to students well, the actions taken by the radicals will continue. Though there is no one else in this world religion that encourages its followers to conduct chaos and destruction. Islam does not encourage its followers to make destruction on the earth. Islam should be the blessing for the universe. So also with the ethnic culture of the nations living in the eastern parts of the world, including Indonesia, are all high support human values. Radicalism movement is caused by socio-political conditions deliberately created by those who hate each other, which in turn makes some people feel injustice. To make radical-terrorist movements in the future no longer exist or at least will be minimized, the religious educational institutions must be able to transform religious and local culture values which are universal to the learners to be carried out in the life of society, nation and religion.

Abstract

The failure of conventional economics systems is a main factor contributing the discourse of Islamic economics. This can be seen from the economic crisis starting from 1970s to now in the world. If it is examined in a depth, this failure is due to an ineffectiveness of macroeconomic. In fact, in macroeconomic, any economic policy should cause bright result, welfare and justice. In this context, it is needed to study the concept  of macroeconomic from the perspective of Islam and conventional. Syariah  Bank which is operated by using profit sharing is not allowed to use interest. This is effective to face any monetary problems though there are some weaknesses such as the lack of supporting facilities, the lack of initiatives and the presence of moral hazard

Abstract

The transformation process in formal Islamic education institutions is more oriented Fiqh Minded which emphasizes on wrong-right, sin-reward. Furthermore, it also occurs in teaching process of informal Islamic education. Some educators or propagators use ‘sin-reward’ method in front of his audience. Islamic education is more oriented on dramatisation of ritual’s reward; fasting in ramadhan, pilgrimage during ramadhan, and alms giving. As a result,  students are influenced by paradigm of ‘sin-reward’. This teaching pattern gives impact to the pattern of performing Islamic rituals which emphasizes on the form of fiqh an sich. In fact, behaviour is formed from an understanding of theological values, belief in the Almighty. This students attitude is supported by the fact or phenomenon which can be called as moral crisis among students ; the presence of student brawl, free-sex, and many others. This is due to Islamic education patterns do not emphasize on the importance of love, affection, tolerance, respect and so on. The implication of such model is that the rise of   fiqh paradigm (namely single truth, single mazhab, and piety is measured by the obedience to fiqh), group or religious fanaticism, discrimination and religious conflicts.

Abstract

The notion of womens emancipation is first emerging from the Koran. The Scripture has a lot of ideas and views on the emancipation of women. Views of the Koran on the improvement of women is not only limited to the ideas of course, but the Koran produces many of the provisions that must be followed in order to improve upon women. What is desired by the Koran to the condition of women is not an absolute equality between men and women. However, the Koran continued to see each of them has different tasks and functions. Both must carry out the functions and duties of each, for harmony and happiness together. Then the gender difference in the Koran is not negative discriminatory as alleged many scholars. Gender distinction in the Koran is distinction of partners or joint.

Abstract

In  the context of formal islamic education such as in schools, there are some urgent components as determinant factors influencing the success of teaching. They are students as raw input, text books, facilities as instrumental input and physical environment as well as social-cultural environment as environmental input. The teaching process of Islamic eduaction in the classroom is less paid attention. It does not use fun and meaningful method for students. There is still old method implemented in the classromm, namely chalk and talk. Such teaching and learning process does not provide learning experience for students. Therefore, the question is how to support students to get learning experience. One of the answers is by implementing PAKEM base method. It is an abreviation of Pembelajaran Aktif, Kreatif, Efektif dan Menyenangkan (Active, Creative, and Fun Learning)

Abstract

Sufism is a philosophy of life, i.e a human effort to realize moral perfection, understanding of reality nature and spiritual happiness. The journey done by the Sufi could take him to be a perfect person (insane kamil). This journey is a long process requiring a deep understanding and concentration. The Sufism aims at managing moral and purification of soul. Clean soul will be easy to be connected to God.  Higher level of clean soul is closer to God. This is because the most important aim of sufism is to get closer to God. The main teaching of Syekh Kadirun Yahya’s sufism is dzikr. To get closer to God, one should conduct dzikr. According to him, dzikir has an exraordinary energy and could be used for any purposes when it is conducted based on accurate method. The intension of Syekh Kadirun Yahya is that he analyzes the power of dzikr through methaphisical exacta approach. His analogy is rational and logical
