Abstract

since a few decades ago, the district of pelelawan has sought to improve the quality of human resources through the expansion of opportunities for formal education in schools, ranging from basic education up to the secondary education, such as infrastructure development of schools, increased staff, procurement of school facilities and infrastructure, as well as low-cost education financing. Conclusions obtained from this research that the public has responded positively to the program. It is characterized by increasing enrollment of children of primary and secondary school age (7-18 years) in the formal education system in schools. However, the program still leaves a relatively large proportion, particularly among low-income communities. The result of this research indicates that the participation of low-income communities in the system of formal education is still not optimal, is not due to cultural values and their pessimistic attitude towards the role of education as a means of social mobility, but because of their inability to meet the necessities of life, so they are forced to ask for help from their children, so that family needs become lighter

Abstract

Islamic boarding is considered to have contributed greatly to the development of Islamic understanding in this country. This becomes very interesting when later confronted with the issue of religious exclusivity. These issues give effect to the understanding of religious thought that only the understanding of religion is the most correct. Attitudes those are higher than the understanding of religion as this is the emergence of terror and murder in the name of his god. therefore, an understanding of the Islamic boarding again become important,  whether schools actually contribute to the understanding of the above, so that the murder in the name of God often happens in this country, of review in this paper, if it departs from the root of the Islamic boarding tradition of knowledge, precisely the values of openness and respect for the rights of humanity  upheld. This, more and dismissed the notion that boarding schools "nest of terrorists"

Abstract

if it is reviewed. From the law number 20 in 2003 concerning the education system, madrasah is listed as an integral part of the national education system. Thus, the madrasah has the same rights and obligations with the school. But many people are still not satisfied with the management of madrasah education that exist today. That is because in the management of madrasah education has not been realized what is mandated by law on the National Education System, so there are still many problems that need to be addressed immediately. Legislation above provides opportunities, freedom and authority for local government to regulate and manage the madrasah education in the region including switch function in overseeing the madrasah committee. So that, madrasah education institutions are likely to be qualified and have high competitiveness

Abstract

Medina states period ended with the death of Caliph Ali ibn Abi Talib. Figure that rises to politics and governance is Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan, the governor of the territory since ancient caliphate of Sham Umar bin Khattab. He is the founder and also the first Caliph of Umayyad dynasty. Among the policy of Muawiyah is a secular position and serves as the executive head of government. Muawiyah is more direct policies on the expansion of political power or territorial expansion of state territorial. More priority to those bloody Arabs sit in government, non-Arab people do not have the same opportunity with the extent of Arab people. Qadi (judge) has the freedom to decide the case. In addition, it does not leave the element of religion in government. Religious formalities are still adhered and sometimes still display the image of himself as a warrior of Islam. The power of the caliph is absolute. So, the appearance of the Umayyad dynasty rule which takes the form of monarchy, is the second half of the practice of government in the history of the Islamic followers.

Abstract

in order to achieve quality of education, the role of teachers is very important. For that, the professionalism of teachers should be enforced in a way the fulfillment of the terms of competencies that must be mastered by every teacher, in the field of material science expertise and methodology mastery. Teachers must take responsibility for their tasks and develop cooperation with other teachers through participation and development of teachers professional organizations. To achieve a professional teacher condition, the teacher must make the orientation of quality and professionalism of teachers as their work ethic and made it a cornerstone orientation behaves in professional tasks. Therefore, teachers professional code of ethics must be upheld. In its development, it was realized that the profession has not been in an ideal position as expected, but it must be continued towards the best. Things that need attention by a teacher to improve the quality of education are to reposition the existing roles and improving the quality of her personality and skill. There are many ways you can do to improve the quality of self, such as: active in seminars, workshops, and research. Sensitive to the offers by the government to improve the quality of teachers and education such as certification and college scholarships

Abstract

when there is a study of the Malay language, figures and efforts that are always mentioned is what is done by some Western scholars, especially the preparation of dictionaries, for example thomas bowrey, werndly, W. van RECs, W. Marsden, R. Eysinga and J. van J. Hollander. King Ali haji is  known only as a scientist in the field of religion and Malay languages. Stature in the field of language is not widely known by the public. It turns out, the Raja Ali Haji has two monumental works in the field of languages, namely: Al-Bustan and The Book of Knowledge Katibin that recommended him as an expert on language and Malay culture. Two of these works are two of the earliest writings about Malay language study produced by the Malay people. However, the Raja Ali Haji is the childs degree of identity in the first malay who have attempted to explain the Malay grammar, writing procedures for Malay language in Arabic script (Jawi). then, the king ali haji was also the first person who has written a monolingual dictionary (eka language) in the Malay language among Malay tribe. From the two works mentioned above, Raja Ali Haji seeks earnestly and constantly develop and maintain the culture and language of indigenous Malay, so he dedicated himself as a Malay linguists and cultural experts.
