Jurnal Pariwisata Pesona (JPP), is a scientific periodical journal of Diploma of Tourism, University of Merdeka Malang, which includes a variety of research in the field of tourism and hospitality, the analysis of actual case studies, or ideas related to the actual tourism and hospitality studies. This scientific periodical journal is intended as a means of scientific communication and a means of fostering, developing and strengthening knowledge in the field of tourism. Academics, legal practitioners, or anyone interested in the field of tourism and hospitality may submit their papers to the editor with the guidelines in writing. Researchers in all tourism and hospitality fields are encouraged to contribute articles based on recent research.

Abstract

Tourism industry has an important role in term of extending business and working opportunity by developing local potency, building urban and rural area and enlarging national income. It should be done to enhance public welfare. This study aims to: 1. Analyzingsocial condition, economy and social culture which occur in Ampelgading village of Malang Regency; 2. Describing plantation, tourism, and eco-tourism potency in that village which can be developed;3. Describing strength, weakness, threat and opportunity in term of plantation, tourism, and eco-tourism potencyin that village; 4. Describing a new working opportunity in tourism industry which can be used by local society in order to maximize income and minimize the number of poor people around that village. Data Collection techniques were used that observation,  interview and documentation. This reasearch uses a Participatory Rural Appraisal method (PRA), Focused Group Discussion (FGD), and SWOT analysis. The result of this study shows that Ampelgading village has a very extraordinary tourism interest in term of eco-tourism and agricultural. In order to maximize the strength, it needs a good collaboration between tourism organization and local government. The developing of the village will impact to the development of people around it. Nowadays, there are several houses which have been used as lodging or homestay for tourist.

Abstract

Technological developments rapidly growth such as the internet, it is time information management manual was gradually replaced by the information management that is technology. For it is necessary such as the design of information system of tourism in a web-based Central Sumba Regency. As for the purpose of this research is to help Central Sumba Regency Government to attract tourists visit through. To make all the content of the information contained onthe web has the administration control panel to be able to do pengelolahan add, editand delete data on tourism. Software developed in the preparation of this final Task using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) which is the basic language for web scripting and client side that allows the display of information in the form of text, grafiks, and also to connectbetween the display Page (Hyperlink). In addition it is also used to program PHP and MySQL to create information systems be accurate. The end resulct of this research is produced a web-based application program that can give you an idea of the information system of tourism Central Sumba Regency that can display information about the profile of tourism.

Abstract

Jayapura district has many attractions that can be developed. Tourism in Jayapura that became a tourist visit as the monument of General Douglas Mac Arthur in Ifar Mountains, Kampung Pulau Asei Travel, Tourism Village Tourism Village Abar and Tablanusu. The tourism sector is positioned as a strategic sector in the national development as well be one source of income. This sector needs to be developed because it is considered as an effective tool for the improvement of the local economy such as employment and development of the regions that have the potential as a tourist attraction. Tourism is something that is needed by every human being because the longer a person is engaged in his work, the opportunity to calm the mind with a traveled the main choice. This study used a qualitative descriptive research is generally done with the primary goal, namely describe systematically the scientific information derived from the subject and object of research. Descriptive study focuses on a systematic explanation of the facts obtained during research conducted and the characteristics of the object being studied. The analysis technique used SWOT analysis is "Assessment / assessment of the identification of the situation to find out if a condition is said to be the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats. Internal factors that support the development of tourism Jayapura district are: tourist attraction, in the form of nature, especially the beaches in Jayapura District, Enchantment Tours, beautiful, natural beauty tours that have not been exposed to pollution, diversity of shore excursions, many beaches are scattered in the district of Jayapura, beautiful scenery, cultural attractions from various regions surrounding the tour in Jayapura. External factors that favor the development of tourism Jayapura District, among others: travel business opportunities in the tourist area in Jayapura

Abstract

“ Malang Kembali “ merupakan gagasan yang sangat cemerlang disaat    generasi muda mengalami krisis akan kebudayaan terutama terhadap kesenian lokal Malangan yang mulai terlupakan dan tergeser dengan kesenian modern. Dengan adanya, festival “ Malang Kembali” diharapkan tumbuh kesadaran dikalangan generasi muda akan adanya Kekayaan budaya lokal yang perlu dijaga dan dilestarikan keberadaanya, bukan sekedar sebagai kesenangan atau hiburan semata namun juga mengandung nilai jual. Suatu daerah akan terus dikenang oleh wisatawan apabila daerah tersebut memiliki kekayaan budaya yang menarik seperti kekayaan kulinernya, senitari dan ukiran serta souvenir khas yang mengingatkan wisatawan pada tempat tersebut. Malang sebagai salah satu kota tujuan wisata memiliki semua itu. Dari wista kuliner hingga industri makanan ringan keripik tempe yang jadi ciri khas Malang,juga  kesenian Topeng Malangan sampai seni Ludruk semua terangkum dan disajikan di festival “Malang Kembali”.

Abstract

Kota Malang memiliki banyak tujuan destinasi wisata. Beberapa diantaranya berlokasi di pusat kota Malang. Salah satu potensi wisata kota yang ada dimiliki oleh kota Malang yaitu Kampung Kayutangan. Wilayah yang mempunyai daya tarik wisata religi terletak  Jl. Basuki Rachmad Gg.4, RW 09 yakni berupa Makam Mbah Honggo Koesomo. Namun masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui keberadaan dari destinasi wisata ini. Oleh karena perlu diadakan program direct marketing dwi-bahasa guna meningkatkan minat wisata religi makam Mbah Honggo, Kampung Kayutangan, Kota Malang. Pihak-pihak yang diperkirakan dapat membantu dalam mengimplementasikan metode direct-marketing untuk meningkatkan minat wisata wisatawan makam mbah Honggo di Kampung Kayutangan Kota Malang adalah Dinas Pariwisata Kota Malang, pemerintah atau pejabat di kampung Kayutangan, kelompok ibu-ibu PKK kampung Kayutangan, serta masyarakat sekitar kampung makam Mbah Honggo. Langkah-langkah yang dapat ditempuh adalah persiapan pengumpulan informasi, pembuatan alat pemasaran dalam bentuk guide-book, pelatihan teknik pemasaran dan bahasa, pelaksanaan direct-marketing dan evaluasi.

Abstract

Malang sejatinya menyimpan kekayaan kuliner yang melimpah. Akan tetapi kuliner-kuliner tersebut belum dikemas sedemikian rupa untuk menarik minat wisatawan. Sumber daya lokal Kota Malang cukup beragam dan relatif banyak tersedia di daerah. Pengembangan potensi wisata kuliner di Kota Malang dengan berbasis sumber daya lokal bertujuan untuk mengangkat citra makanan berbahan dasar pangan lokal Kota Malang sehingga banyak digemari oleh masyarakat dan mampu bersaing dengan makanan modern. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D Research). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan dengan cara survei lapangan, dan studi pustaka untuk mencari berbagai jenis hasil produksi yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat Kota Malang. Adapun proses tahapan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah : (1) identifikasi sumber daya lokal Kota Malang, (2) identifikasi resep-resep, (3) pengolahan hasil produksi sesuai resep, dan (4) kuliner yang telah dihasilkan. Melalui pengumpulan data ini hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian tahap I adalah resep-resep yang dapat diterapkan kepada masyarakat pada penelitian tahap berikutnya. Potensi sumber daya lokal Kota Malang antara lain tanaman pangan dan holtikultura. Namun dari hasil observasi di wilayah Kota Malang utamanya kelurahan Mulyorejo, Kasin, Samaan, Bunulrejo dan Lowokwaru  jenis tanaman pangan yang sedang diusahakan oleh petani setempat diantaranya yaitu: ketela rambat, ketela pohon, jagung, daun kelor dan buah markisa. Dari hasil pengembangan resep didapatkan beberapa hasil olahan diantaranya scothel ubi jalar, ubi smothie coklat, dendeng ubi, cenbiung, spagheti singkong, ketupat singkot, rollade daun singkong, bakso kelor, steak tempe kelor, roll udang kelor, semar anget dan jus mamor kopyor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya lokal Kota Malang sangat berpotensi sekali untuk dikembangkan. Pengembangan wisata kuliner sangat penting dilakukan, hal ini dikarenakan dalam kegiatan pariwisata terdapat unsur budaya yaitu makanan yang menjadi salah satu daya tarik wisatawan.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kepuasan pengunjung yang datang dan menginap di Hotel Horison Ultima dengan kualitas hidangan breakfast yang diberikan oleh hotel dan mengetahui penyediaan hidangan yang dapat membeir kepuasan terhadap pengunjung.. Semua hidangan yang ada yaitu kondisi kesegaran makanan, kelengkapan makanan, desain dalam penyusunan makanan dan tata warna serta kebersihan makanan harus diperhatikan karena akan berkaitan erat dengan apa yang akan didapat dandirasakan oleh pengunjung. Pentingnya Variasi Hidangan juga dapat berupaya meningkatkan kepuasan dari pengunjung hotel karena keberagaman makanan di hotel yang diberikan dan disediakan untuk pengunjung harus baik dan memuaskan, jika peranan variasi hidangan tidak diperhatikan baik-baik akan mempengaruhi terhadap kepuasan pengujung di hotel. Memuaskan kebutuhan konsumen adalah keinginan setiap perusahaan. Selain faktor penting bagi kelangsungan hidup perusahaan, memuaskan kebutuhan konsumen dapat meningkatkan keunggulan dalam persaingan. Konsumen yang puas terhadap produk dan jasa pelayanan cenderung untuk membeli kembali produk dan menggunakan kembali jasa pada saat kebutuhan yang sama muncul kembali dikemudian hari. Hal ini berarti kepuasan merupakan faktor kunci bagi konsumen dalam melakukan pembelian ulang yang merupakan porsi terbesar dari volume penjualan perusahaan.The goal of this research is : 1. To increase the satisfaction of visitors who come and stay at Hotel HorisonUltima quality breakfast dishes provided by the hotel, 2. Knowing the provision of dishes that can give satisfaction to visitors. Knowing the description of the hotel breakfast menu variations provided by Hotel HorisonUltima (Main Dish, Side Dish, Tematic Dish).All the dishes there is the condition of the food freshness, completeness food, food preparation and design in color management and food hygiene must be considered because it will be closely related to what they would receive and the part of visitors. Importance of Variation dish can also work to improve the satisfaction of hotel guests in the hotel because of the diversity of food provided and available for visitors to be good and satisfactory, if the role of variations of the dish is not considered good will affect the satisfaction of the end of the hotel. Satisfying customer needs is the desire of every company. In addition to the factors important for the survival of the company, to satisfy the needs of consumers can increase competitive advantage. Consumers who are satisfied with the products and services are likely to buy back the products and reuse services at the same time needs to reappear later.This means satisfaction is a key factor for consumers to make repeat purchases which represent the largest portion of the companys sales volume.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to describe the price, product, and service quality to tourist satisfaction, to analyze the effect of pricing, product, and service quality, and to analyze between the price of the product, and the quality of service which the dominant influence on tourist satisfaction. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research  methods survey technique which aims to clarify leverage causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing verification. The data analysis in research used multiple linear regression followed by hypothesis testing.   The results showed that the price, product, and quality of service simultaneously significant effect on satisfaction tourist in Taman Wisata Air Wendit Kabupaten Malang, this suggests that the price is comparable to rides that enjoyed by tourists, products that meet the desires and needs of tourists, and services presented optimally, then the tourists becomes obtaining an enjoyable experience so that tourists are interested to come and visit again. Price dominant influence on tourist satisfaction, the results showed that the price of the dominant influence, not a product. This is because the tourist assumes that the expenditure during a trip to Taman Wisata Air Wendit are in accordance with the benefits gained traveled by tourists
