Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan menulis teks narasi siswa kelas X TBB C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo melalui metode Picture and Picture. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Tindakan dalam penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TBB C SMK Negeri 4 Sukoharjo yang berjumlah 29 siswa.Sumber data yang digunakan berupa peristiwa, informan, dan dokumen.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen.Uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi metode, triangulasi sumber data dan review informan.Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif dan teknik analisis kritis.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Picture and Picture mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan menulis teks narasi. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan prosedur pembelajaran sebagai berikut: (1) guru menyampaikan kompetensi yang ingin dicapai; (2) guru menyajikan materi sebagai pengantar; (3) guru menunjuk atau memperlihatkan gambar-gambar kegiatan berkaitan dengan materi; (4) guru menanyakan alasan atau dasar pemikiran dari urutan gambar tersebut; (5) berdasarkan alasan urutan gambar tersebut, guru mulai menanamkan konsep atau materi sesuai dengan kompetensi yang ingin dicapai; (6) guru memberikan kesimpulan/ rangkuman materi yang baru saja dibahas, kemudian siswa ditugaskan untuk menulis sebuah teks narasi berdasarkan urutan gambar.

Abstract

This study is conducted to identify 1) the students’ skill improvement in reading report text and 2) class situation in which text-marking is implemented in the reading class at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015. The method used in this action research was classroom action research. The research was conducted from February 1st until May 22nd 2015. Every research cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. There are qualitative and quantitative data collected in this research. The qualitative data were collected by interviewing, surveying, and observing whereas the quantitative data were collected by designing pre-test and post-test. The findings showed that the implementation of text-marking could improve students’ skill in reading report text and classroom situation. The students’ mean score improved in five basic reading’ skill indicators as 1) finding main idea and topic, 2) determining reference, 3) determining word meaning based on context, 4) finding explicit and detailed information, and 5) finding implicit information increased. The improvements of class situation included 1) students focused to their learning, 2) students became active and enthusiast, so that classroom situation was conducive, 3) students were willing to discuss about learning difficulty with their friends and the teacher. The mean score had the advancement from 63.4 in the pre-test, 77.7 in the post-test 1, and 81.5 in the post-test 2.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh antara faktor-faktor internal (kemampuan memori, kemampuan matematika, kemampuan analisis, kecerdasan intelektual, kebiasaan belajar, dan motivasi belajar) terhadap prestasi belajar pada pokok bahasan konsep mol baik secara terpisah maupun secara serentak. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA SMA 1 Kajen tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 134 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan teknik pengambilan data yaitu metode wawancara, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana dan berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara terpisah kemampuan memori, kemampuan matematika, kemampuan analisis, kecerdasan intelektual, dan motivasi belajar yang bersifat sangat lemah terhadap prestasi belajar pada pokok bahasan konsep mol, sedangkan untuk kebiasaan belajar terdapat pengaruh yang bersifat lemah terhadap prestasi belajar pada pokok bahasan konsep mol. Pada pengujian menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, secara serentak keenam variabel bebas tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang bersifat lemah terhadap prestasi belajar pada pokok bahasan konsep mol, dari uji F diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,006 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,362.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) to find out how the virtual based disaster learning model as disaster mitigation efforts; 2) to determine how the instructional design based virtual disaster as disaster mitigation efforts; 3) to find out how the performance of virtual-based disaster learning modelas disaster mitigation and adaptive process. This study titled "Virtual Based For disaster Learning model Mitigation and Adaptation Process Against Natural Disasters in SMP" This is the kind of research the development of R & D. Software development in the form of virtual learning model based disaster was carried out by engineering approach where the stages are: analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. 1) systematic steplearning model development disaster based virtual or abbreviated to MPKBV begins with a preliminary study in the form of needs analysis, the next stage of design and material development, writing program, producing an early prototype of which is validated by media experts and subject matter experts, improvements after their expert input; 2) The response of the aspects MPKBV Material / Fill with a score of 4.4 are in either category. For Virtual aspect with a score of 4.7 is in the excellent category. For the programming aspect with a score of 4.5 is in the excellent category.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pada penelitian ini, telah dikembangkan Tes Diagnostik Model Mental dengan teknik Pilihan Ganda Multi Tingkat pada materi Sistem Koloid (TDM-PMT-Koloid) dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. TDM-PMT-Koloid terdiri dari 9 butir pertanyaan (5 sub konsep) yang meliputi empat pilihan jawaban dan empat pilihan alasan. Pilihan jawaban merupakan representasi makroskopik dan simbolik yang dikembangkan melalui data primer percobaan dan pengamatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pilihan alasan merupakan representasi model sub-mikroskopis yang dikembangkan berdasarkan kajian beberapa buku teks General Chemistry. TDM-PMT-Koloid telah dinyatakan valid dengan beberapa catatan perbaikan oleh lima orang panelis yang terdiri dari seorang profesor bidang Pendidikan Kimia, seorang doktor bidang Pendidikan Kimia, dan tiga orang doktor bidang Kimia Fisika. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan metoda Cronbach didapatkan koefisien reliabilitas CronbachAlpha sebesar 0,782    untuk total soal dan antara 0,607 sampai 0,797 untuk setiap sub konsep. Hasil ujicoba TDM-PMT-Koloid terhadap 46 siswa SMA ditemukan sebanyak 21% siswa memiliki model mental utuh (memahami konsep koloid dalam tiga level representasi); sebanyak 33% siswa memiliki model mental parsial (memahami konsep koloid dalam salah satu level representasi); dan 46% siswa memiliki model mental hampa (tidak memahami konsep koloid dalam semua level representasi).

Abstract

Abstract:The objective of this research is to investigate whether or not the docudrama film learning media has an effect on the learning interest in the basic competency of Describing the Indonesian Government System and the Role of State Institutions as the Executors of Popular Sovereignty. This research used the true experimental method with the posttestonly design.They were taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. The data of research were collected through questionnaire, observation, and content analysis. The data prerequisite analysis used the normality test and the homogeneity test, and the proposed hypotheses of the research were tested by using the t test. The result of the research shows that the value of the t count was 5,864 at the significance level of 5% with the dk = n1 + n2 – 2 (30 + 30 – 2 = 58) so that the value of the t table was 2,002 (interpolation). The value of tcount = 5,864 was greater than that of the t table = 2,002, and the average score of the experimental class = 83,22, was better than that of the control class = 76,64. Thus, the docudrama  film learning media has an effect on the learning interest in the basic competency of Describing the Indonesian Government System and the Role of State Institutions as the Executors of Popular Sovereignty.

Abstract

The research is aimed to analyze misconceptions of high school students of class XI on the buffer solution material using instruments Three Tier Multiple Choice Tests. Another purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of student misconceptions and location misconceptions on chemical material especially on the subject of buffer solution. The research method  is descriptive, data collection by giving a 13 item multiple choice questions with closed reason and CRI index and then the results of each items students answer were analyzed. The results of this study are misconceptions in chemistry learning especially in a buffer solution dispersed in of all concepts. The most common misconceptions on the working principle of the buffer solution by 51% and the lowest on the properties of the buffer solution by 31%. Suggestions put forward is the need to hold further research to uncover misconceptions where they come from and how to overcome these misconceptions.
