Abstract

Parallel processing system is a collection of computers connected and work together as an integrated computer resources to complete certain jobs which are connected by the network, so it can be seen as one - unity. Parallel processing can be applied to such work compress and decompression the data. Compression process is a way to compress the data so that it requires less storage space, while the decompression process is the process of restoring data to its original shape. The utilization of parallel processing to speed up or get more speed on the efficiency of the data compression so the job. The work came to be divided to parallel computers that are not doing the work.

Abstract

Vigenère Cipher is one of the well-known ciphering algorithms of the past. Modifications to Vigenère Cipher algorithm is made to improve its security, making it more difficult to decipher by a cryptanalyst. Due to the nature of the algorithm, these measures have to be taken to maintain the confidentiality of ciphered data.  This research modified the Vigenère Cipher using Catalan Numbers method and Double Columnar Transposition.  Catalan Numbers method is a mathematical method used to randomize the initial key so as to generate a key which is longer and having stronger characteristics; a key which is harder to guess, either by cryptanalysts or by key-deciphering methods. In addition to the first method, Double Columnar Transposition is used to rearrange the position of data in the generated ciphertext in order to make it appear more random, hence slowing down the cryptanalysis process of the encrypted text. Double Columnar Transposition is done by applying columnar transposition twice to the ciphered text. The applied modifications to Vigenère Cipher are then tested using Kasiski Examination. Resulting ciphertexts are known to have randomised characteristics, which made it difficult to guess the ciphering method used to generate the ciphertexts. Tests done using Kasiski Examination {1, 2, 4} proven that the ciphertexts passed the test, hence putting down the possibility of easy deciphering, and the modifications successfully provided a better and stronger encryption to the Vigenère Cipher.

Abstract

Digital image processing of a system capable of generating digital image data and software as a medium to display the digital image data that uses radio waves to send data in HEX and convert in the form of images. Linksprite camera which enable to produce the digital image data and utilize the arduino UNO as a controller to send commands to the camera image capture and send the digital image data to the PC. The process of digital image based data transmission by radio waves utilizing the XBee Pro Series 1 . Results of testing the system implemented in the outdoor can take a longer distance when compared with the application of the system in the room . At a distance of 10-250 meters complete the full HEX data transmission and produces good images , with time ranging 2m.29s.39ms-2m.36s.56ms. Distance of 260-450 meters with a time of 2m.05s.02ms - 06ms 2m 01s but the picture quality is not good. At a distance of 500-530 meters with a time of 1m.10s.23ms-0m.50s.59ms produce images that are very less. While the distance of > 550 meters is the limit HEX data transmission capability to the receiver. The ability of the system mileage in the process of data transfer shorter if applied indoors. Distance of 1-60 meters with a time of 2m.29s.39ms - 60ms.2m.34s produce good quality images. At a distance of 80 meters with a time of 1m.25s.59ms produce poor images, and with a distance of 90 meters with a time 0m.35s.49ms produce images that are very less . While the distance of > 100 system not able to perform HEX data transmission

Abstract

Student Executive Board (SEB) is a campus organization which is an executive agency at the level of the University / Institute / College. Constraints experienced by the SEB in determining UKM / HMJ tactical beneficiaries. To be able to assist in making decisions to determine UKM / HMJ beneficiaries needed a tactical decision support system (DSS). The system can use the ELECTRE method and Weighted Product method in the calculation process. The results showed that the proposal with the highest values approaching the highest value of 1 (one) is the proposal of UKM/ HMJ are eligible to receive financial assistance tactical.

Abstract

Flight simulation games are generally played on a smartphone or desktop computer. But still there is rarely flight simulation game that combines these two devices simultaneously with each other in a game. Software on a desktop computer that was developed in this research is to fly a plane from take off to landing at controlled by android smartphones using the accelerometer and touch sensors. The aircraft used for flight simulation games are made by PT. Digantara Indonesia, N219. The result of this design is only intended as a study course.

Abstract

The Development of information Technology, especially computer networks and the service in a rejuvenate the human side. The development of the internet is very widespread. The security level digital data becomes vulnerable to attack by the attacker. Arp spoofing is one of the attacks in a network that can be used to view digital data traffic such as emails, passwords and etc, when is running in the network. The process of prevention againtst arp spoofing attacks, made an application to detect and block the attacker in the network by Firefox Addons. Attacker will be directly blocking (drop) into to Mikrotik OS. Users avoid the attack arp spoofing. The results of testing one, two and three can be detect and block the presentation of the results of 83%, so That’s the terms of security in the network can be safe from attack to the attacker.

Abstract

Smartphones with Android operating system is one proof that the very quickly progress of technology. Functions and services on Android smartphones is no longer just for communication but also for entertainment such as games. Application are made in this research is a game that applies artificial intelligence with pathfinding techniques and can be played in single player and two players using the wireless local area network as data traffic lane with distribution techniques client server and can be played on smartphones with Android operating system. Software used to create this game is the Unity 3D engine. Unity 3D is a game creator software that is very powerful at this time. By using Unity 3D can make a game in a variety of devices, one of which is on a smartphones with Android operating system. With the application of this game can be a means the entertainment for anybody.

Abstract

Designing a website is the first step to build website that gives the appearance of an interface to the website visitor. the appearence web design that interesting can be gived conveniences for visitors to browse the contents of any website content. designing of the website, skill are required several to be master multiple web programming languages, the programming language are  HTML, CSS and Javascript. In the overall control of the programming language takes time to be master and understand each other codes. Therefore, to built application that allows users to create a website design. This application is called WebEditor is built using CodeIgniter and Twitter Bootstrap framework. In the rendering process design needed parallel processing techniques to the process. so, the impact in terms of rendering time speed to website design. Throughout this system, users can design a website easily and quickly, and in the process of rendering design does not require for long time. the results of study case have done that it can be seen that influences of the implementation of rendering speed transmission media based on the number of processors and computers server. The percentage of the speed to rendering of design does not using a grid server on the LAN network are 33.7 %, 33.3 % and internet routers 33 %. While using a part of grid servers on the LAN network are 33.6 %, 33.4 % and internet routers 33 % and the final grid using 2 servers on the LAN network are 44 %, 33 % and internet routers 26 %. So the highest rendering speed on the LAN router network for further 44 % and 30 % at the latest on the Internet 26 % by using 2 part of grid servers. Thus rendering the best in the website design is using LAN with 2 part of grid servers.

Abstract

The accuracy of data is the capital for making a very useful information for the company business continuity. The value of data can be very expensive if it can be made into a good information and the right target. Procurement and inventory data is one of the things to note in particular the logistics division on the company. Therefore it needs a system using a particular method that can be support the data management of goods procurement and it can also help the managers take the decision of stock control. Based on that, it can be developed to integrated system between procurement data processing and the amount of purchasing materials a single web-based application that implement a method of stock record such as perpetual inventory method and economic order quantity method as well as the methods used to support the decision in calculating the amount of inventory to be optimal. Using the development of the decision support system, some errors related to the recording of data on procurement and inaccuracies in determining the amount of inventory can be reduced. Then the company can avoid the material losses.
