Abstract

The society with massive schedule in the fully modern life, gives effect of limitation to the society in doing many activities. For example, while taking a trip in a city without knowing the area might cause many troubles. Using location searching in a city using GPS technology which connected to the android smartphone tools, will make it easier and  saving cost, time and energy.             The method of this research for the mapping is using google map  facility. In this application, the data like mesjid, church, market, hotel, restaurant and hospital data is saved in server web which make possible for the user to add new data to the application with verification performed by the administrator.             Smartphone tools which have GPS facility can be used to acknowledge important spot location in a city and the user location at the sam time. This kind of application can be functioned if this smartphone tools with facility GPS has connection with the internet.

Abstract

Since the smartphone android as open technology was found, the Users can take some advantages from Google’s map service which is exist in the application to build the applications service. API direction can using HTTP to determine the location of the inter-view destination, mileage and road routes that can be passed either as a text string or as a latitude or longitude that can be implemented through a Google map.By using this direction google map service, API, can be used this service to create a searching application service to search the houses of worship. Besides used  for knowing generally the houses of worship that exist around the Yogyakarta city, the determination of the shortest path is needed because in this life people often travel from one place to another by considering the efficiency of time, mileage and expenses.Searching service of the houses of worship is existed in the application, it can be tested in various service providers through the internet and GPS signal strength which is optimal enough to obtain the shortest distance with the direction on the map and with a percentage accuracy of the average distance between Google on the map with the actual distance of 99%.

Abstract

With the rapid growth in current technology, academic systems in higher education has been computerized. Academic who has a computerized system is considered more effective. The computerized system has can be used to plan the academic activities of students for taking Strata 1 at the College of Technology Adisutjipto. The system uses Decision Support System (DSS) to give some conditions on Best First Search (BFS) method so that the method can be used in a subsequent advisory list of the best courses in accordance with the terms that have been obtained, which will help students in making academic decisions. Of the BFS method, students are given a solution in the form of a list next semester of courses that can be taken in accordance with the terms obtained from the previous semester in the form of Performance Index and the solution was given until the end of the lecture the student and provides the calculation of the total cost of each semester.

Abstract

Temperature is a part of the natural condition that  related to human activities. Many human activity is affected by temperature fluctuation factors. For example, in this case is a temperature monitoring at these broiler farms and database monitoring center computer. Room temperature for  places are two examples of the human activities that the temperature factor is concerned. Until now, time temperature monitoring activity is done manually, thus it is need a monitoring tool that can be viewed from  the computer interface.To save time and cost, application for temperature monitoring equipment is made so that the results can be seen from a distance. The applications are user friendly, so users can easily find out the temperature value.Application for temperature monitoring equipment is useful to support the activities of monitoring the temperature. From the experimental results, the application for temperature monitoring equipment that uses radio frequency results can be viewed from a computer interface, so as to streamline the performance of temperature monitoring.

Abstract

Minimarket idola on a daily basis there are many sales transactions, so that the data stored in the database is very large. The data can be used as much useful information for the owner of a minimarket in policy making. To explore the data that is used a lot of data mining technique. Data mining uses data analysis to discover patterns and relationships in data that may be used to make accurate predictions.In this research, data mining is used to forecast the sales of goods in Minimarket Idoal. Forecasting the future based on measuring the value of the patterns in the data collection. To perform sales forecasting in the future to use the method of time series. Forecasting time series data to predict what will happen based on past historical data.Time series methods for forecasting sales in the calculation Minimarket Idola using exponential smoothing and moving average. Of the count sought the MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) or forecasting errors. Where MAD is the smallest value of the calculation of exponential smoothing and moving average is the result of forecasting with a small error. Forecasting results will not always be appropriate because the market demand influenced by several factors. But it does not mean that the forecast is made useless.

Abstract

Requirement about lectures information quickly, easily, accuratelly, and cheaply. To support lectures activity, such as lectures information scedules, lectures changed scedules, and the other informations based on running text with SMS Gateway in one way. In order to increase labor produktivity, data services, and information and increase computer skills in campus suroundings or college, that needs to be pursued in service enhancement effectively and efficiently, using information technology with running text based.In this application contains four interfaces, such as server application view, client application view, wireless fidelity (login hotspot) view, web view. Database design is a effort to make model of data management is still first draft. This database will be use to store data from the application.The result of whole research that can be analyze the test simulation is about mechanics work process from system over all. On the whole analyze result consist of the basic concept that built to become a system which has been discussed on the previous chapter.

Abstract

File synchronization is the process of homogenization or adjustment between one file at a location with other files in the event that a change to be used up and running in a system. File synchronization is generally a process of data exchange in order to have the same amount of data. To maintain the confidentiality of the data necessary to maintain services for data security.            The use of cryptographic AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) to encrypt the file and combined with the administrator as an authentication key in making additions or changes to the file is a security system that can be applied to synchronize the files so that data confidentiality will be maintained.            The results of the implementation of file synchronization application by applying the AES cryptography and key administrators who carried on the local network and the Internet as a service application data synchronization between the user and the service back-up data as manual handling if storage was damaged and can avoid the theft of data from a file synchronized.

Abstract

So far, there are coaches who are less precise in determining the ideal position of the player as it only relies on instinct and the ego of the players so that there is still a coach who has not been able to objectively assess the players.By utilizing the method of Genetic Algorithm as Decision Support System (DSS) in the process of determining the ideal position of a player who uses several criteria (multicriteria) to choose a proper player. DSS is helping coach in making the right decisions and Genetic Algorithm is used as a model for multicriteria weighting in the selection process. This application was built with tools Borland Delphi (7.0) as the user interface design and media processing PostgreSQL as its database.            Based on these results we can conclude that this application expected to assist the coaches in the decision making process and can change the appraisal of which are subjective to more objective, to determine the ideal position for a player, can determine the best position of each position of a number of players and the expected results of the Genetic Algorithm on the system constructed in accordance with the results of manual calculations.

Web service is one of media that suitable for system and platform communication, this service is considered as an efficient and effective  communication facility. Web service make a system communication  connected with Internet.The system is built with a proper analysis and  effective design to help human to communicate each other. The  design from start to end, is useful to help in writing the command of blogs which has a lot of comments. The  comments that belong to many website/blogs is recorder into one report so that make the review become easier. It also can  maximize the quality and the quantity of the website / blog.System is designed to facilitate the manager of the website/blog, especially in the pe-an-record comments entered. Manager of the website / blog just need to  provide a form which connected to the database as a means of data entry comments.

Academic information systems application have many feature among other input KRS, view course value, view attendance and course schedule, with there are feature it, so will increase Academic information systems service.
