Abstract

Each firm transportation service providers must act quickly and precisely as a consequence of the internal and external environment changes that occur in the orientation to provide the best service to customers. Companies in the operations must always observe the changes in consumer behavior in order to anticipate changes in the behavior, then reduced to the study in order to improve their marketing strategies.The problem of this research is “whether service quality effect on passenger satisfaction of public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan, whether the pricing strategy of passenger satisfaction influence on public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan and whether the quality of service and pricing strategies simultaneously affect the satisfaction of the public passenger transport services on the route 120 PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan.After collecting data on the samples filed, as well as data analysis, it is known that from the research that has been described in previous chapters, it can be concluded that the quality of service and pricing strategy has simultaneous effect on passenger satisfaction public transportation services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan. In other words, the variability of passenger satisfaction which can be explained by using the variable quality of service and pricing strategy. Based on this it can be concluded that the quality of service and pricing strategy implemented in public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan has been running well and is able to give effect to passenger satisfaction. Quality of service has an influence on passenger satisfaction employees of public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan. Abstract

The conclusions from the study that there is a positive and significant effect of pension program and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program on employee morale PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Branch of Belawan. Obtained by multiple linear regression equation Y = 9.029 + 0.809 X1 + 0.197 X2 , which means that if the pension plan and occupational health and safety programs ernilai zero employee morale can be explained by 9.029 .The result showed that simultaneous variable pension program and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program on employee morale PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Branch of Belawan, where the value Fcount > F table or 24.197 > 3.23 with the level of significant (α) 0.000 < 0.005. While partial pension plan and a significant positive effect on employee morale with tcount = 6.298> t table = 2.021. Occupational Safety and Health Programs positive and significant impact on employee morale with tcount = 2.236> t table = 2.021.Coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.547 means the influence of retirement program and the Occupational Safety and Health Program (K3) on employee morale PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero) Branch of Belawan by 54,7 % and the remaining 45,3% is influenced by other variables outside of research. Conclusions from the study that there is a positive and significant effect of pension program and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program on employee morale PT. Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the competitive advantage of the group of culinary business through market orientation and product innovation. This study conducted at group of culinary business in Suka Maju Village, District of West Binjai, Binjai. 76 responses was collected using a closed questionnaire containing the respondents perception of market orientation, innovation, and competitive advantage with purposive sampling technique. Furthermore, the data was analysed using path analysis. The results show; (1) Market orientation have direct and positive impact on innovation of product; (2) Market orientation have direct and positive impact on competitive advantage; (3) Innovation have direct and positive impact on competitive advantage; and (4) Innovation can increase the effect of market orientation on competitive advantage.Keywords: competitive advantage, market orientation, product innovation.

Abstract

Leadership is essentially the ability of a person to build, lead, direct and mobilize others to work together to achieve the goals set. To realize these goals, a leader needs to do a series of activities including directing the people involved in the organization he leads. In other words, the purpose is achieved or not an organization is dependent on leadership.Managerial grille developed by Robert Blake and Jane Mouton is one of leadership style theories regarding the orientation of the manager on duty (production) and employees (people), and a combination of the two. This grid illustrates how attentive leader on duty and in humans thus creating a style of management and leadership. There are five basic leadership styles which include style conqueror (impoverished style), leader style mid (middle-of-the-road style), the style of the team (team style), relaxed style (country club style) and work style (task style).Leadership style has many theories put forward by experts in the fieldhuman resources, but researchers interested in studying the style of leadership based on the theory of grille managerial Blake and Mouton at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk Medan and SUMUT Daily Post. The reason is because of the five leadership styles that can be applied by the company, as stated above. Researchers want to know what the leadership style that is applied to both the companys five leadership styles that are owned as well as to determine whether there are differences in leadership styles are applied from both companies are based on the theory of grille managerial.This research uses descriptive exploratory method by distributing questionnaires to employees to identify leadership styles and the differences in the two companies studied.Keywords : grille managerial, leadership, leadership style

Abstract

Fenomena yang ada, sejak dibuka dan beroperasi sampai hari  ini,  perolehan  laba di  setiap  unit  kantor  cabang  BRI Medan  –  Gatot  Subroto  banyak mengalami peningkatan. Hampir keseluruhan di kantor unit mampu memperoleh laba yang baik dan menambah   jumlah   nasabah   serta   menjalani   persaingan   bahkan   membuka   unit-unit   lain diwilayahnya. Obyek penelitian dilakukan di tiga belas kantor unit BRI Kantor Cabang Medan - Gatot Subroto. Dalam sistem manajemen, kantor unit BRI memiliki unit kerja seperti mantri, teller dan deskman yang dipimpin oleh Kepala Unit (Ka. Unit) dan Supervisor.Peran kepemimpinan sangat strategis dan penting dalam sebuah organisasi sebagai salah satu penentu keberhasilan dalam pencapaian misi, visi dan tujuan suatu organisasi. Maka dari itu peran kepemimpinan  sangat  penting  dalam  meningkatkan  kepuasan  kerja  dan  kinerja  karyawan. Pemimpin yang efektif adalah pemimpin yang mengakui kekuatan-kekuatan penting yang terkandung dalam individu.Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan yang dijembatani oleh komitmen organisasi. Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the effect of price, promotion and distribution channel partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions. This type of research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The population of this research is the Honda brand car buyers in the city of Medan with a total sample of 100 people by using simple random sampling technique, questionnaire data used is Multiple Regression.The results showed that the variable product quality, brand image, price and promotion together significantly influence purchasing decisions.T test results showed that each - each variable product quality, brand image, price and promotion jointly significant effect on purchasing decisions.The company should be able to inform the Honda brand car with a better understanding of the variable product quality, brand image, Price and promotion through the sales conversations, so that they are understood in marketing their products.Keywords: product quality, brand image, pricing and promotions, and Purchase Decision

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of internal organizational relations and employee-customer relationship to job satisfaction through empowerment of employees. The method used in this study is a survey approach, this type of research is quantitative descriptive analytical method used is the analysis of the path, with 3 (three) the hypothesis being tested. The results of the study on the first hypothesis, it is known that simultaneously internal organizational relations and employee-customer relationships significantly influence employee empowerment. But partially employee-customer relationship and no significant effect on the empowerment of employees. For the second hypothesis, based on the partial test known that employee empowerment significant effect on job satisfaction. For the third hypothesis, based on the partial test in the know that the connection relationship of internal organization and employee empowerment, variables significantly influence job satisfaction, employee empowerment variables are variables that most influence on job satisfaction compared with a variable internal organizational relationships.Keywords: Support Based Relationships, Job Satisfaction, Employee Empowerment

Abstract

Telecommunication companies in Indonesia are now in slack condition. They are not able to apply the strategy of market expansion to increase their profit. Therefore, maintaining customer loyalty is one of the best ways to satisfy customers. However, customer satisfaction is not enough to maintain customer loyalty since competitors also apply the same thing. In order to forestall the move of customers, it is necessary to apply switching cost strategy. The objective of the research was to find out the influence of satisfaction on loyalty through switching cost in Telkomsel customers in Medan.The samples were 160 respondents, taken by using convenience sampling technique. The data were gathered by using likert instrument and analyzed by using descriptive analysis, cross tabulation, and partial least square (PLS). The result of the research showed that all hypotheses could be confirmed. Satisfaction had positive influence on switching cost, switching cost had positive influence on loyalty, and satisfaction had positive influence on loyalty. However, in this research, switching cost could not mediate the influence of consumer satisfaction on loyalty. Direct influence of satisfaction on customer loyalty was higher than that through switching cost.Keywords: Satisfaction, Switching Cost, Loyalty
