HUBUNGAN BERMAIN GAME ONLINE DENGAN KEBUTUHAN TIDUR PADA ANAK KELAS V DI SDN MULYOAGUNG 01 DAU DAN SDN 02 LANDUNGSARI DAU KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

Salahsatu penyebab berkurangnya kebutuhan tidur pada anak yaitu bermain game online, akibat berkurangnya kebutuhan tidur maka akan mengalami gangguan kebutuhan tidur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan bermain game online dengan kebutuhan tidur pada anak kelas V SD di SDN Mulyoagung 01 Dau dan SDN 02 Landungsari Dau Kabupaten Malang Desain penelitian ini mengunakan Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini mengunakan teknik simple random sampling, jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 69 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hampir seluruh responden sering bermain game online yaitu sebanyak 57 responden (82,6%). Kebutuhan tidur, hampir seluruh responden dikategorikan mengalami gangguan tidur yaitu sebanyak 53 responden (76,8%). Hasil statistik mengunakan Chi Square didapatkan p-value sebesar 0,001 (p-value ≤ 0,05), yang berarti bahwa ada hubungan bermain game online dengan kebutuhan tidur pada anak kelas V SD di SDN Mulyoagung 01 Dau dan SDN 02 Landungsari Kabupaten Malang. Siswa-siswi perlu memperhatikan dan mengurangi waktu bermain game online sebagai kendala yang mempengaruhi kurangnya pemenuhan kebutuhan tidur, dengan cara mengalihkan waktu yang digunakan untuk bermain game online dengan melakukan aktivitas lain seperti belajar, membantu orang tua, bermain dengan teman sebaya di lingkungan rumah. ABSTRACT Sleep needs in a child as you get older and increase the amount of activity, the need for sleep will decrease. Sleep needs are caused by several factors, one of the causes of lack of sleep needs in children is to play online games. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of playing online games with the need for sleep in fifth grade elementary school children in Mulyoagung 01 Dau Elementary School and Landungsari Dau Elementary School 02 Malang Regency. this study was used a correlation design that is cross sectional. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN 01 Mulyoagung and SDN 02 Landungsari Dau Malang Regency as many as 84 people, and the sampling technique used a simple random sampling of 69 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis used chi square using SPSS 16. The results of the study proved that playing online games, almost all respondents were categorized as often as many as 57 people (82.6%). Sleep needs, almost all respondents were categorized as having sleep disturbances as many as 53 people (76.8%). The results of the analysis obtained a significant value of 0.001 (p-value 0.05) with a coefficient correlation value of 0.387, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship playing online games with the need for sleep in fifth grade elementary school students in Mulyoagung 01 Dau Elementary School and Landungsari Elementary School 02 Malang. Thus students need to pay attention and reduce the frequency of playing online games as a factor that influences the lack of fulfillment of sleep needs, by switching the time used to play online games by doing other activities such as learning, helping parents, playing with peers in the home environment .
