This paper purpose to investigate the relationship between studentâ reasoning abilities withargumentation skills in digestive system concept through PBL (Problem Based Learning). Thisresearch use correlational research method with reasoning multiple choice test as an instrument tomeasure the studentâ reasoning abilities and argumentation sheet which have been adapted fromToulminâs Argumentation Pattern (TAP) to measure studentâ argumentation skills. Subject of thisresearch are second grade students of senior high school in West Bandung Regency. Data analysisshow that studentâ reasoning abilities and argumentation skill have a strong positive relationship. Thisrelationship can be shown by the result of the correlation coefficient calculation about 0,76 withdetermination coefficient about 57,76%.
