Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the learning activities of cooperative learning model of the type of picture and picture on cognitive abilities of students in social studies. The research method is correlational. Using research data collection tool, observation sheet and test questions. Data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. The results showed that there is significant influence on the activity of the type cooperative learning model learning picture and picture on cognitive abilities of students in social studies.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas pembelajaran model cooperative learning tipe picture and picture terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian korelasional. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan, lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada aktivitas pembelajaran model cooperative learning tipe picture and picture terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS.Kata kunci:kemampuan kognitif, picture and picture,danaktivitas pembelajaran.
