Abstract

The purpose of this research were to describe the potential and condition of the development of multigrade teaching model , to describe the character of multigrade teaching model, to analyze the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness of multigrade teaching developed. The study used the R & D approach, held at Royal Kingdom Academy Elementary School ,Bandar lampung and Charisma Global School,. Data collection used questionnaires and test instruments. The research method used to test the effectiveness is the One-Group Pretest -Posttest Experimental Design. Test Subjects are 12 students of grade IV-VI SD. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The conclusion of this research were 1) the initial condition is still found learning syntax that has not been able to facilitate students with various abilities; 2) development process begins with model of multigrade teaching-MLM-SQ3R. ; 3) effectivenes multigrade teaching model with a normalized gain average of> 0.5; 4) Efficiently multigrade teaching model used with the highest efficiency value is 1.4; 5) the atractiveness of multigrade teaching with the average attractiveness test score > 80%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan potensi dan kondisi dikembangkannya model Pembelajaran Kelas Rangkap (PKR), mendeskripsikan karakter model PKR , menganalisis efektifitas,efisiensi dan kemenarikan PKR yang dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan R&D, diadakan di SD Royal Kingdom Academy dan SD Charisma Global School, . Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan instrument tes. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menguji efektifitas adalah Desain Eksperimen OneGroup Pretest Posttest. Subyek Uji Coba adalah 12 siswa kelas IV-VI SD. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah 1) kondisi awal masih didapati sintak pembelajaran yang belum mampu memfasilitasi siswa dengan berbagai kemampuan ; 2) proses pengembangan diawali dengan model PKR-MLM-SQ3R. ;3) model PKR efektif dengan rata rata gain ternormalisasi > 0,5; 4) model PKR efesien digunakan dengan nilai efesiensi tertinggi adalah 1,4; 5) model PKR menarik dengan hasil kemenarikan rata rata > 80%.Kata kunci :model pembelajaran, PKR, Sekolah Dasar.
