PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI METODE CARD SORT

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to increase activity and students achievement by implementing card sort method. Type of research was Classroom  Action Research (CAR) conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycles were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of research data used the observation sheet and question test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative analysis and quantitaive analysis. The result of this research showed that the implementation of card sort method in social learning could increase student achievement. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode card sort. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan 3 siklus. Tiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan metode card sor pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, IPS, metode card sort
