EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF BERBANTUAN MEDIA FLIPBOOK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SISTEM GERAK MANUSIA DI SMP

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan media flipbook terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap. Bentuk penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy eksperimen) dengan rancangan Control Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII B (kelas kontrol). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata skor hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model kooperatif berbantuan media flip book sebesar 18,15 lebih tinggi dibanding menggunakan model konvensional yaitu sebesar 16,69. Hasil uji U Mann Whitney diketahui Zhitung>Ztabel (2,02>1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol pada taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan effect size diperoleh nilai 0,55 (kategori sedang), artinya efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif berbantuan media flipbook dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran kooperatif, media flipbook, hasil belajar, sistem gerak manusia   Abstract: This study is aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning by using flipbook media to enhance students’ learning achievement on human skeleton system material at eight grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Kakap. The form of this research is quasy experiment, and considered in control group pre-test and post-test design. Two classes were taken which VIII A (experiment class) and VIII B (control class). As the result, the researcher found that students’ score in average were 18, 15 for those who got flipbook as the media. It is higher than conventional class which got 16,69 on learning achievement. U Mann Whitney test showed that Zhitung>Ztabel (2,02>1,96), with a significant difference in 5% level among control class and experiment class. While the effect size showed ES = 0,55, and categorized as medium. Thus, the effectiveness of cooperative learning through flipbook media is useful to enhance students’ learning achievement on learning human skeleton system material.
