Abstract

The problem in this study is that all PAUD teachers do not have the same understanding of authentic assessment. This study aims to describe PAUD teachers understanding of authentic assessment. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 96 PAUD teachers in Rajabasa sub-district who were taken purposively. Data collection was carried out using test and documentation techniques, while the data were analyzed by descriptive percentage. The results showed that the PAUD teachers understanding of authentic assessment was still relatively low, both an understanding of the concept of authentic assessment, an authentic form of evaluation and an authentic assessment process. Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah semua guru PAUD belum memiliki pemahaman yang sama terhadap penilaian autentik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman guru PAUD terhadap penilaian autentik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru PAUD di kecamatan Rajabasa sebanyak 96 orang yang diambil secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data dianalisis secara  deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru PAUD terhadap penilaian authentik masih tergolong rendah, baik pemahaman terhadap konsep penilaian authentik, bentuk penilaian authentik maupun terhadap  proses penilaian autentik. Kata Kunci: PAUD, Penilaian Autentik, Pemahaman Guru PAUD
