Abstract

Results Preliminary observations indicate that learning in TK Tunas Harapan Brondong District of Lamongan is often less appealing to children. There are some things that cause this, including the presentation of a monotonous activities and media which are used as props less varied. activities to learn to count only use media board and fingers only. This greatly affects the poor performance beginning child to learn to count. Of the 22 children only 6 children who are already able to count some others still need the guidance of a teacher.This study aims to: 1) Describe the implementation of stick figures playing in efforts to improve the numeracy skills of children in group A at the beginning of TK Tunas Harapan Brondong District of Lamongan. 2) To describe the resulting increase in numeracy starters through play activities of children in group A stick figure in Subdistrict Brondong TK Tunas Harapan Lamongan.This research uses Action Research (PTK). Class action research model used is the model Kemmis and Mc Taggart, Kurt Lewin model development. Implemented through two cycles of action. Numeracy starters were developed in this study: (1) Referring to the order of objects to numbers 1-10 (2) Mention the epitome of numbers 1-10 (3) Sort emblem numbers 1-10. (4) Pair emblem with the number of objects up to 10. (5) Summing up the results of 10 numbers. The results showed that the action through play activities undertaken science can improve cognitive abilities in the first cycle increased by 27% to 54%, and in the second cycle increased again by 37% to 91%. Of the overall increase in numeracy before action until the beginning of the second cycle of 64%.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the application method of the project to develop the ability of the cooperative attitude of early childhood. 2) To describe the result of increased cooperation early childhood through project methods. TK Muslimat Brondong Lamongan selected as a study by the consideration that based on observations conducted by researchers with classroom teachers, not all children in group B had a cooperative attitude is good, especially in carrying out the task group, in collaboration with friends, playing with friends, want to help friends and do not annoy your friends. Kondisdikarenakan activities carried out in the learning activities often use the method of administration tasks. Child ren less given the opportunity to play together, study groups and practice building his own knowledge. Methods project is one strategy that can be selected to develop the principle of play while learning the children in a center of learning and increase social competency early childhood. Results of preliminary observations Social emotional learning ability of the 20 children showed there were 13 children (65%) who lack the social skills of emotional and 7 (35%) of children developing emotional social abilities. The method used in this research is a classroom action research with two cycles of implementation. The results showed that the action through projects implemented method can improve the emotional social abilities in the first cycle increased by 10% to 45%, and in the second cycle increased again by 50% to 90%. Of the overall increase in cognitive ability before action until the second cycle by 60%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran, baik proses maupun hasil dengan cara mendeskripsikan penerapan metode bercerita dengan gambar seri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa verbal anak serta memotivasi anak untuk senang  belajar terutama dalam pembelajaran melalui metode bercerita. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan bersifat kualitatif dengan mengambil data yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan pengamatan atau observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket untuk melengkapi data yang ingin diungkap. Dalam penelitian ini juga menggunakan data statistik sederhana untuk membantu dalam mengungkap data. Adapun  urutan kegiatan  penelitian mencakup: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi,  dan  (4) refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, penerapan metode bercerita dengan gambar seri di kelompok A TK Plus At Taqwa Kecamatan Brondong, Kabupaten Lamongan yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, secara keseluruhan pelaksanaan tindakan kelas berjalan dengan lancar sesuai rencana yang telah disusun dan dilakukan disetiap siklusnya. Kedua, peningkatan kemampuan bahasa verbal terlihat dari antusias siswa dan hasil belajar pada saat pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) Menjawab pertanyaan tentang keterangan/informasi secara sederhana, (2) Menceritakan pengalaman/kejadiana sederhana (3) Bercerita tentang gambar yang disediakan, mengurutkan gambar seri sederhana, dan (4) Membaca gambar yang memiliki kata atau kalimat sederhana (5) mendengarkan cerita dan menceritakan kembali isi cerita secara sederhana. Ini dapat diketahui melalui hasil observasi pra tindakan sebesar 42,30 %, pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 26,93% menjadi 69,23%, dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi sebesar 23,07% menjadi 92,30%. Dari keseluruhan peningkatan kemampuan bahasa verbal sebelum tindakan sampai siklus II sebesar 50%.
