Abstract

Salah satu unit yang paling penting dalam produksi uap pada PLTU adalah boiler. Salah satu boileh jenis PLTU sering digunakan adalah boiler tipe CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed), dan jenis bahanbakar batu bara yang digunakan banyak mengandung zat basa. Superheater merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting pada boiler. Superheater berfungsi untuk memanaskan uap agar kandungan energi panas dan kekeringannya bertambah sehingga menjadi uap superheat. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada superheater yaitu penumpukan abu (fouling) yang terjadi pada tube superheater tersebut. Unsur yang paling berpengaruh pada fouling adalah material basa terutama kadar Na2O. Bila kadar abu batubara banyak, kemudian unsur basa dalam abu juga banyak, ditambah kadar Na2O yang tinggi, maka fouling akan mudah terjadi. Kadar sulfur yang tinggi cenderung mendorong timbulnya fouling. Fouling dapat menyebabkan penurunan laju perpindahan panas antara flue gas dengan steam pada superheater. Potensi fouling dapat diukur menggunakan suatu persamaan, tetapi persamaan tersebut hanya memperhitungkan chemical composition dari batubara tersebut. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil terjadi penurunan laju perpindahan panas untuk high temperature superheater dari sootblowing satu ke sootblowing selanjutnya sebesar 511,8458 kW atau sekitar 3,012%. Sedangkan penurunan laju perpindahan panas untuk low temperature superheater dari sootblowing satu ke sootblowing selanjutnya sebesar 3421,506 kW atau sekitar 13,028%. Unsur yang paling berpengaruh pada fouling adalah material basa terutama Na, yang dalam hal ini kadar Na2O. Potensi terjadinya fouling yang dihitung dari data analisis fly ash menunjukkan nilai potensi fouling sebesar 4,0069 yang masuk dalam kategori potensi fouling tinggi pada fly ash lignit.

Abstract

Tiap tahun kota Malang menghasilkan apel berton - ton untuk didistribusikan didaerah Indonesia. Untuk membedakan kualitas apel yang baik dan berkualitas para pengusaha melakukan penyortiran terlebih dahulu sebelum pengemasan dan distribusi. Beberapa kriteria dalam penyortiran bisa didasar pada warna dan berat. Pembacaan warna berupa nilai RGB dan berat berupa gram. Salah satu teknologi canggih yang mampu mengenal warna dan berat adalah Sensor TCS3200 dan Load Cell. Yang Objek penelitian ini adalah buah apel manalagi. Untuk membedakan kualitas apel yang baik dan berkualitas para pengusaha melakukan dan distribusi. Beberapa kriteria dalam penyortiran bisa didasar pada warna dan berat.. Hasil penyortiran dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi buah apel yang akan didistribusikan berdasarkan jarak tempuh dan kondisi buah tersebut pada saat pengiriman, serta pengusaha dapat menjamin kualitas apeL mempunyai ciri khas hijau kekuningan.

Abstract

The most important resource in a construction project is labor, it is possible to cause errors that can disrupt the implementation. Thus the safety and health of the work must always be protected to prevent the occurrence of work accidents, for that effort is done by evaluating the cause of work accidents on construction projects. In this thesis, the issues raised are what are the dominant indicators of causes of occupational accidents and how to mitigate K3 on those dominant indicators. To know the dominant indicator, then do observation and interview with related personnel in the implementation of the construction project. Assessment of dominant indicators is obtained by scoring method using Likert scale. From the results of data analysis at PT. In total, respondents were 43 respondents (67%) with 27 indicators of occupational accidents due to K3 policy in Government Regulation No. 5 of 2012 already exist, but not yet done well, documentation does not exist, implementation of K3 has not been done in the field. And got the dominant indicator is from human factor with indicator A.3 equal to 95.56% that is behavior and habit careless. Factors that become obstacles in the implementation of OSH policy are human factor (HR), work tool factor, and working condition factor.

Abstract

Along with the progress of environmental action movement, the systematic destruction of nature, began to be reduced, so it is necessary to think about the use of new types of mixed sources that can be used in the manufacture of concrete. Utilization of fly ash and rubber debris on concrete is expected to cope with the impact of environmental pollution. Therefore, the effect of variations of fly ash with the addition of rubber shards and with added materials (admixture) such as silica fume and superplasticizer on concrete mixes can improve the quality of concrete. The samples of the study were made by comparison of fly ash Bangka with fly ash Suralaya by 0%, 10% of the weight of cement and 5% of fine weight aggregate with silica fume 4% of the weight of cement that has been reduced by the weight of fly ash and supplemented by a superplasticizer of 2% water needs. Testing sample at age 7, 14, 28 days, to know compressive strength, slump and concrete timesetting.

Abstract

With improve the quality of concrete is by using the addition of admixture. By adding admixture Silica fume and superplasticizer is expected to improve concrete quality in concrete using fly ash and bottom ash. The main objective of this research is to know the value of concrete compressive strength, slump test value, fresh concrete temperature and setting time in concrete using fly ash and bottom ash by 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% by weight of cement, with variations of silica fume 0%, 2%, 4%, 6 %, 8%, 10% of the weight of cement that has been reduced by the weight of fly ash and bottom ash and added with superplasticizer of 2% of the water requirement. The planned concrete quality was 41.7 MPa at 28 days, with the sample tested at age 7, 14, 28 days. Based on the results of the highest concrete compressive strength test for fly ash concrete (fly ash) is found in FA mixture variation 10%, SP 4%, SF 2% that is equal to 56,16 MPa. And for mixed bottom ash the highest compressive strength on mixed variation of BA 5%, SF 2%, SP 2% is equal to 49,82 MPa. Fresh concrete temperature variation of FA mixture 5%, SF 2%, SP 2% and BA 5%, SF 2%, SP 2% rose one degree from normal concrete temperature. Setting time generated on mixed concrete FA 5%, SF 2%, SP 2% has the fastest initial time setting ie 251 minutes of all variations of concrete mix.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the use of sea sand to the availability of large amounts in Bengkulu city. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of sea sand physically and to compare the compressive strength of concrete with the dunes and river sand. Sea Sand which were used in this study wereSelolongSea Sand, LakokSea Sand and Air Padang Sea Sand. The specimens were the cubical size 15 cm x 15 cm x15 cm of 40 samples with 2 types of treatment namely salt water and fresh water treatment. The planning of concrete used 0,5fasand 60-100 mmslump, The testing was done at 28 days. The result of this study showed that for doing the inspection of sand quality physically, all the tests fulfilled the requirement setexcept in the inception of sieve analysis for Air Padang sea sand, which has a very fine grain. The highestincreased of concrete compressive strength was atLakok Sea Sand, which was 3.86% of the dunes, and 4.77% for the treatment of river sand for freshwater. For the treatment of Lakoksalt water on the dunes increased to 2.22% and on the river sand increased 3.74%. Air Padang Sea Sand has the biggest reduction the compressive strength of concrete, most notably in the treatment of fresh water on the dunes of 10.33% and 9.54% of the river sand. For salt water treatment, Air Padang Sea Sand had a greater reduction which was 14.61% of the dunes and 13, 33% of the river sand.

Abstract

Characteristics soft soil can cause instability and long-term degradation problems. This is because the soil has a low shear strength value and high compressibility. One type of soil belonging to the soft soil type is soft clay soil. Red soil belongs to the soft clay soil type. Therefore, the purpose of this research to determines the parameters of the shear strength of red soil in the area of Pakjo City Palembang, South Sumatra Province. The equipment had been used to obtain parameters of mechanical properties of red soil was using Triaxial apparatus. The results of the red soil properties index include: water content value (□ 27.70%, specific gravity value (Gs) 2.67, liquid limit value (LL) 66.00%, value of plastic limit of 25.13% and index value (IP) of 40.87% Classification of soil CH (USCS) and A-7-6 (AASHTO). The result of the Triaxial tests was the value of cohesion (c): 16.25-18, 15 kPa, and internal friction (□): 13.50-14.75⁰. The result of shear strength (□) : 17.68-24.02 kPa. The shear strength value of red soil indicates soil which includes soft soil (12.5-25 kPa).

Abstract

To maintain power transformers needed security from tampering. One of these is differential relays. In these case that will be studied is the transformer differential relay MiCOM P645 by using RTDS to result showed the feasibility of the differential relay.Where control through software RSCAD. Detection function activated includes diferential function, the function of limited soil disturbance ( REF ) and impaired function CT when saturation.

Abstract

Untuk menentukan output suatu pseudocode algoritma biasanya mengalami kesulitan, terutama pada logika algoritma repetition control stucture atau nested looping, yang biasanya rumit, sehingga sulit untuk ditebak atau ditentukan outputnya. Misalkan, apakah akhir dari suatu looping? Dimanakah batas awal (start) dan batas akhir (stop) dari suatu looping? Mulai dari manakah dan sampai dimanakah batas badan looping? Apakah harus looping atau berhenti? Apakah hasil looping bernilai true atau false? Apakah looping selama hasil boolean atau kondisi bernilai true? Apakah looping sampai kondisi bernilai true? Selain hal tersebut, mengingat keterbatasan nalar manusia untuk mengingat atau melakukan hal tersebut, maka kepentingan akan suatu tools sangat sekali dibutuhkan dalam hal menganalisa ini. Berdasarkan kondisi permasalahan itu, penulis mencari suatu rancangan atau suatu metode, bagaimana cara mudah untuk menganalisa variable baik input atau ouput beserta logika algoritmanya pada suatu pseudocode algoritma, inilah tujuan penulis merancang suatu tabel, yang penulis bernama desk check table. Dalam hal ini fungsi desk check table adalah mendokumentasikan history dari setiap perubahan sejumlah variabel yang dianalisa, baik variabel input atau output beserta logikanya dengan menggunakan suatu tabel. Artikel ini juga, sekaligus sebagai artikel lanjutan dari artikel penulis sebelumnya, dengan judul “Algorithm Design Of Operation Multiplication Matrix By Using Flowchart Method”. Berarti tujuan dari artikel ini adalah menganalisa kebenaran jawaban-jawabanyang sudah penulis jawab pada artikel tersebut, serta pembuktian yang akan penulis jadikan contoh soal, yaitu pada soal Aljabar Linier mengenai Perkalian Matriks, sama halnya dengan artikel sebelumnya.

Abstract

Information technology give a lot of convenience that can be perceived by the human life. One example  is the information technology era with the birth of the computer in the lives masyarakat..Komputer now felt mamfaat give an awful lot that can not be separated from human life. Every company and institution, in its data processing has been applied by using a computer. Thus the computer can be used as decision support aspects of good and right in taking a decision. Particularly relevant agencies that college is the most important thing when they apply the learning and teaching among faculty and students. Its very important to consider if college graduates want to produce a good and accomplished, then the universities should take steps leading if it is to achieve it. Things can be addressed is the new admissions system kesetiap public and private universities in Indonesia. Why is that, with the existence of a computerized system that will provide convenience in determining the choice of majors to choose, As one of the most important factors is how  prospective students can make choices in accordance with their interests and talents. So in their teaching and  learning activities will be optimal, there will be complaints that caused the student to have a mind to discontinue their studies. It should be time for a change college party existing systems by creating an information system for the selection of future student majoring in accordance with the desired direction. From this then as a researcher wants to provide input by presenting a new innovation is to build information systems majors elections for state and private universities in Indonesia
