Abstract

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is one of the important materials in the analysis and design of information systems. UML is used in designing or modeling the system. UML has some form of diagram that is grouped in several aspects based on a different view. Forms of the diagram are illustrated by different functions and notations. This makes UML difficult to understand considering that time in the classroom is very limited. Therefore, it is necessary to design a learning aid based Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI). Interactive application interface helps students understand the learning materials. Students can learn independently wherever and whenever they need. The results of this study can be utilized for the development of teaching materials, especially about modeling the system with UML. Keywords: Learning, Computer Assisted Instruction, Unified Modeling Language

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (autism) is a disorder that begins and is experienced in childhood, which makes it unable to form normal social or communication relationships, as a result the child is isolated from other humans. Disrupted development especially in communication, social interaction and behavior. But the problem that arises is how to find out whether a child has autism or not, as well as how to manage it optimally. One of them is the expert system application to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with fuzzy logic. Fuzzy logic is an appropriate way to map an input space into an output space. This application was created as a tool to diagnose autism based on physical symptoms suffered by patients, using the mamdani method. System input is a symptom of autism, while the system output is a Normal Child (not autistic) and an Autistic Child. The process of calculating the system is carried out with 4 stages of mamdani namely: Formation of fuzzy sets, Implications of rules, Composition of rules and Defuzzyfication.

Abstract

Many santri who cannot help with the boarding school environment cause the boarding school to experience difficulties in the problems that occur in the boarding school environment which causes the santri to not survive and develop in the Islamic boarding school environment. With the help of the Decision Support System and the Sugeno fuzzy method, it can help the santri Islamic boarding school to be disapproved. The Decision Support System Simulation with the Sugeno fuzzy method can determine the level of adaptation of the santri in the Islamic boarding school so that it can help the boarding school. From the simulation results, the system has 5 criteria for adaptation of the santri and the resulting output can be approved or cannot be approved. From the simulation results with input 5 criteria, it is obtained that 24.222222222222230 cannot be approved while 21.63676767676767682 can be used.
