Abstract

The availability of an increasingly diverse and number of online resources makes the choice of students richer and active learning more enjoyable, but the preferences and abilities of students in choosing the right learning resources need to be further analyzed. This research is survey research with cross-section data with Unesa Economic Education Study Program students as the research subject. The ability of the online student learning resource Preference Unesa is dominated by scientific journal portals, social media, institutional pages, news portals and personal blogs. Most of these learning resources are text rather than the video with ease of access being the main reason in choosing learning resources. Information about the learning resources they get mainly from social media, advice from friends, and then advice or information from lecturers.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in vocational education in Surabaya is still lack of attention. Many educators are paying less attention to character growth and entrepreneurial behavior. Their orientation is, generally only on preparing the workforce. To that end, the solution needs to be sought, how education can serve to turn people into human character or behavior and entrepreneurship. The research, therefore, aims at obtaining an explanation of the influence of teachers entrepreneurship credibility and authenticity on the students’ entrepreneurial character in SMK Negeri Surabaya. This research is a verification. The technique used to test the hypothesis is structural equation model (SEM). The results provide an explanation that the variable credibility and authenticity of entrepreneurship teachers have simultaneous significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial character in SMK Negeri Surabaya, whereas the two variables are partially proven to be unsignificant.

Abstract

Career maturity in the world of teacher training today is an important capital in facing competition. Mapping the career maturity of educational science students is important to predict their chances of success as well as material for policy considerations related to learning. The population was 332 students with a sample of 180 students. This study uses a quantitative method with an analysis tool used, namely analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results obtained from this study state that there is no difference in career maturity of students with the socio-economic status of parents in the low, medium and high categories. However, the career maturity level of students with high socioeconomic status is generally lower if compared with the average value of low and medium socioeconomic status. The career maturity level of students with high socioeconomic status also varies greatly. Keywords: Career Maturity, Socio-Economic Status, Students

Abstract

This study aims to find out the application of kaizen, the impact felt by the employees in applying kaizen and the customers’ feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented to improve the after sales service of PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop. This study was conducted by using qualitative research method in analyzing the application of kaizen.The method of data collection was carried out by conducting observation and documentation. The data collection method to find out the impact that employees feel and the customers’feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented used the direct interview method with 4 employees who have applied kaizen and 5 customers who have experienced kaizen products. The results of this study indicate that the application of kaizen in PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop has run well. The impact felt by the employees is also good, the employees become more satisfied at work. The feedback given by the customers for kaizenthat has been conducted is very good. Kaizen makes the customers more comfortable and satisfied with the services provided to themselves and their vehicles.
