Abstract

This study aimed to describe the role of guidance and counseling in motivating students to learn mathematics in class VII-8 SMP 3 Palangkaraya and describe the teachers role in motivating students in learning. This type of approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, namely with information, correc fact and reliable. Subjects in this study were the teacher in class VII-8. The data used is primary data and secondary data collection techniques used in data observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis using the technique proposed by Milles and Hubermen namely data reduction, data display, and verification of decision making. These results indicate that BK teacher acts as a motivator and as a mentor in terms of motivating learners to learn math at grade VII-8 SMP 3 Palangkaraya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether play therapy can improve the behavior of school children with school refusal behavior. This research used single case study. The subjects used in this research amounts to one person who has school refusal behavior. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Stages ofis divided into10 sessions of therapy sessions plus pre-treatment, post-treatment and follow-up. Results of this research showed improvement in school behavior at the time pre treatment only1 time a week to 6 times on a follow-up session.

Abstract

Kekurangan tidur dapat menyebabkan gangguan mood, emosi, konsentrasi dan menimbulkan malas. Latihan relaksasi dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi gejala insomnia, terapi ini merupakan bentuk terapi psikologis yang mendasarkan pada teori-teori behavioris. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa UM Palangkaraya. Jenis penelitian adalah studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi ini dapat menurunkan gejala insomnia, yang ditandai menurunnya tingkat ketegangan di saat akan maupun setelah tidur,saat terbangun pikiran menjadi lebih segar. Subjek mampu melaksanakan latihan relaksasi secara mandiri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify assertive behaviour of students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangkaraya. The research subjects were eight people, consisting of 3 students, two homeroom teachers, two subject teachers, and 1 BK teacher. The technique of collecting data uses observation and interviews. The research approach used in this study is qualitative. The results of the survey show that: Students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangkaraya have not shown assertive behaviour, this is indicated by several aspects of assertive behaviour that have not been able to be demonstrated by students, such as in the demand aspect, students have not been able to hold responsibility and maintain personal rights with well. In the issue of rejection, the students have not been able to reject it well, students do not say Yes or No to the contrary wishes of friends. In the aspect of self-expression, students have been able to express thoughts or ideas, but have not been able to express feelings properly and have not been able to criticise wisely. In the aspect of praise, students have not been able to give and receive approval. In the role aspect of the conversation, students can start the discussion well, but have not been able to finish the conversation well.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the anxiety profile of class X students in Palangkaraya 2 High School, (2) to find out the effectiveness of individual counselling with the REBT approach to reduce anxiety in speaking students in Palangkaraya 2 High School. The study population was all students of class X MIPA 4 Palangkaraya 2 Public High School as many as 42 students and who were surveyed as a sample of research or population of 2 students. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and interviews. The method used is quantitative experiments, data analysis techniques using the t-test formula (paired sample t-test)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of content mastery services with social modelling techniques to reduce off-task behaviour of Islamic students. The design of this study uses Single Subject Design (SSD) with multiple large cross variables. The subjects in this study were 5 class II MI HIdayatul students in the 2015/2016 academic year indicated as students who were off task behaving tending to be high and moderate, each of which was identified from the rubric of freedom of observation, intervention, and experimental control. Data analysis uses visual analysis by paying attention to changes in levels and trends.

Abstract

Lack of sleep can cause mood disorders, emotions, concentration and cause laziness. Cognitive restructuring can be used to reduce symptoms of insomnia; this therapy is a form of psychological treatment that is based on cognitive theories. The research subjects were UM Palangkaraya students. This type of research is a case study. The results showed that this therapy could reduce the symptoms of insomnia, which was marked by changes in positive, negative thinking which eventually generated positive behaviours which could then help them to start sleeping and maintain their sleep quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self management dalam menurunkan prasangka social peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik Pre-Eksperiment dangn bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X mipa-7 di SMAN 2 Palangka Raya yang berjumlah 40 orang, dengan sampel 9 orang peserta didik yang teridentifikasi memiliki tingkat prasangka social yang tinggi. Data di analisis dengan uji T Test Menggunakan aplikasi Software SPSS versi 20.00. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan, observasi dan skala prasangka sosial. Berdasarkan hasil Pre-test sebelum pemberian treatment subjek mendapatkan nilai skor rata-rata 86-114 masuk dalam kategori tinggi , dan setelah pemberian treatmen berdasarkan hasil Post-test rata-rata subjek mendapatkan nilai skor 57-85 dan masuk dalam kategori sedang. Pada observasi awal sebelum pemberian treatment mendapatkan nilai skor 9-13 masuk dalam kategori rendah dan setelah pemberian treatment pada observasi akhir rata-rata subjek mendapatkan nilai skor 4-8 masuk dalam kategori rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kesembilan peserta didik yang diberikan treatment mengalami penurunan perilaku prasangka sosial sesudah pemberian treatment yang diketahui dari hasil perbandingan Pretest-Posttest.
