Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of tellers 1 and 2 in serving deposit and withdrawal transactions. The problem (1). Identify the queuing service characteristics applied by Bank BNI Syariah Palu Branch (2). Seeing the performance of the busiest teller services 1 and 2. The busiest service performance results (ρ) are found in teller 2, which is 0.3687 or 36.87%, for teller 1 is 0.3393 or 33.93%, while for the next calculation has a value of 1 customer probability 1 teller in the system (P0) 0.6605, teller 2 is 0.6311, the average number of customers in the system (Ls) for teller 1 is 0.5208 while for teller 2 is 0.5852, for average time in the system (Ws) for tellers 1 ie 0.1025 is equal to teller 2 which is 0.1025, then the average number of customers in the queue (Lq) for teller 1 is 0.1814 while for teller 2 is 0.2164 and the last is the average time in the queue (Wq) for teller 1 which is 0.0362 equal to teller 2 which is 0.04. So the conclusion is that the service performance for these two telephones has the same level of value.

Abstract

This study aims to analiyzethe system  of optimal service queue at the teller that existed in PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Bungku Branch.  The analytical method used is M/M/1 or single channel single phase, but to compare the optimal or not the queue of customer service at PT Bank Syariah Mandiri branch when adding one teller in solid time so the used M/M/S analysis method or multi channel single phase. The result of analysis by using one teller in cash deposit of solid time is probability in system is equal to 0,0572. The teller utility level is 0,94 or 94 % the average number of customers in the system is 17 people, while using two tellers can be seen the probability in the system is 0,350 or no one in the system. Teller utility rate is reduced to 0,48 or 48% of the average number of customers in the system is 1 person, it indicates that the customer queuing in the system is optimal. Based on the data is can be concluded that the addition of one teller at a solid time can optimize the existing services in PT Bnk Syariah Mandiri Bungku branc.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the engine maintenance performed Sariwangi Earth Pearl Factory Shop and to find out whether the policies implemented have been streamlined. To achieve these objectives, using quantitative methods and mathematical statistics as a tool to help decide the maintenance policies to be taken at a certain time.The results showed that the annual preventive maintenance Rp. 4.200.000, -, while corrective annual fee of Rp. 4.500.000, -. Coffee Factory Sariwangi then implement preventive maintenance can save maintenance cost Rp. 300.000, -.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the influence of logistic performance on operational performance in the rattan small-medium business in Palu. Population of this research is 24 Rattan small-medium business, which consists of 24 business owners as respondents, and 24 active employees. In total, the sample of this research is 48 people who selected with census method. Method of analysis is multiple linear regressions by using software of SPSS for Windows Release 16.0. Hypothesis test shows significance level of α = 0.05 and reliability test using the coefficient values shows cronbach alpha with coefficient of α = 0,60. The result indicates that logistic performance simultaneously have significant influence on operational performance, with adjusted R-square value of 46.4%. Partially, with the standard of α = 0.05, X1, X2 and X3 have significant influence on Y with sig. value of 0.033, 0.037 and 0.000 respectively. The correlation test shows a correlation coefficient by  0.706, which means that the variable of logistic performance has a strong relationship with the operational performance of 70.6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the queue characteristics and to find out the number of efficient tellers at Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Office Palu Tadulako. Obtained by calculating the average number of customer arrivals and the average number of customers served per unit of time formulated into the M / M / 1 Queue Model formula. The type of research used is research with a descriptive method.The sampling technique uses the Accidental Sampling method. The results showed that Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Office Palu Tadulako had arrival characteristics in the form of unlimited population size arrivals, the nature of the arrival of individuals with random arrival patterns; has queue characteristics, namely the length of the queue is limited to the service pattern FCFS (First Come-First Served); and has the service characteristics of Single Channel Single Phase. The number of tellers currently available is efficient.

Abstract

Research this purpose find out optimal amount raw material puchases each time making and order, knowing the safety stok raw materials that must be provided and knowing when to re-order raw materials. This type of research is quantitative descriptif research, using the EOQ method of  economical raw material purchase in 2017 is 63,67 m3. With the order frequency of  9,14 time and the optimum cycle time of each order is 31,1  days. The number of safety suppies that must be povided is 7.113,6  m3. The right time to re-order is when the raw material supply is 7.121,08 m3

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the maintenance of production machinery conducted PT. Haycarb Palu Partners and find out whether the policies carried out are efficient. To achieve these objectives, using statistical and mathematical quantitative methods as a tool to help decide the maintenance policy to be taken at a certain time period. The results showed that, using preventive maintenance policy on bucket elevators and rotary screnes, the lowest preventive maintenance cost (minimum) for the bucket elevators machine occurred in the 10th month of Rp.2.994. 200, -, and for the rotary screnes machine the lowest preventive maintenance cost (minimum) at month 9 is Rp.1.398.080.-. Measurement of technical efficiency, maintenance cost policy for bucket elevators machine at month six that is equal to Rp.3.675.500, -, and for maintenance cost during the year is Rp.7.351.000, -. As for rotary screnes machine maintenance cost in the sixth month that is Rp.1.589.387 and for maintenance cost for a year of Rp.3.178.774, -, then PT. Haycarb Palu Partners can implement preventive maintenance that can save costs.
