Abstract

This research was aimed to find out the influence of growing media type to the growth of Anthurium Jungle bush. The completely randomized design method was used in the research which consisted of 5 treatments media in 20 replicates. The five treatments media were soil (A), soil+rice hull (B), fern+compost (C), soil+fern+rice hull (D), and compost+fern+rice hull (E) which made by mixing material with the same volume ratio. All data were analyzed statistically and continued with HSD test if it found to be significantly different. The research found that soil media (A) and mixed of soil+fern+rice hull performed better Anthurium growing than other non-soil media.

Abstract

This study was aimed to identify the effect of the concentration level of Grow Quick S fertlizer to the growth of Aglaonema legacy. Completely ranzomized design method was used in this study which consisted of 6 levels concentration of Grow Quick S, namely A0 (0 ml/L), A1 (1 ml/L), A2 (2 ml/L), A3 (3 ml/L), A4 (4 ml/L), and A5 (5 ml/L) in five replications. The data were analyzed statisticaly. The result showed that Grow Quick S fertilizer is not significantly influenced the plant growth. However, its level in 2 ml/L and 3 ml/L tend to give best result in leaves number, leaves wide, budding number, and fresh weight.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan ekstrak beberapa tanaman sebagai insektisida nabati dalam mengendalikan P. xylostella pada tanaman sawi, serta menentukan jenis ekstrak tanaman yang paling efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor perlakuan yaitu jenis bahan nabati, yang terdiri dari enam taraf perlakuan yaitu kontrol (P0), ekstrak daun sirsak (P1), ekstrak daun babadotan (P2), ekstrak daun serai (P3), ekstrak daun pepaya (P4) dan ekstrak buah mengkudu (P5). Dosis yang digunakan dalam pengaplikasian setiap jenis insektisida nabati adalah sebanyak 50 ml/polibag. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua perlakuan efektif dalam pengendalian P. xylostella karena rata-rata persentase efikasi di atas 50 % dalam kurun waktu 24 JSA. Ekstrak buah mengkudu yang paling baik dari beberapa ekstrak tanaman lainya, dalam pengendalian P. xylostella pada tanaman sawi.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the optimum level of ash bokashi which supported the optimum growth and yield of Vigna sinensis L. Five level of bokashi (0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 g/plant) were designed by using completely randomized design in 20 replicates. Data analysis and regression were used in this research. The results showed that mostly plant growth and production were affected by the changing level of ash bokashi addition except to the fluorescence and harvesting time. Additionally, it also found that 90 g/plant was the optimum level of ash bokashi added to improve V. sinensis growth and production. There was also a linear relation between level of ash bokashi to the number of harvesting bean per plant (Y=6.179+0.0441X), weight of harvesting bean per plant (Y=79.939+0.467592X), and bean harvesting weight per plot (Y=929.932+7.7287X2).
