Abstract

Wi-Fi is a technology that is growing at the moment, because of the advantages and ease of supporting mobility for work, communication and many other things. To connect to the wireless network, then any device no longer need an additional device to help connect to the network. The device is a wireless adapter. Computers and laptops today the average is equipped with a wireless adapter. Adapter in receiving the signal, there are several levels of strength, the strength of the signal depends on the distance to the signal point of the hotspot or access point. External adapters also can amplify the signal reception of a hotspot. In this study, the research methods were performed using descriptive methods. The data collection technique used observation techniques. By using a data collection was obtained from the assessment of external adapters signal strength, signal strength values ​​detected by the respective software at the same distance, which is 10 yards, scored farther weakened by an external adapter to receive the same hotspot signal.

Abstract

This research discusses about the influence of Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability to Quality of Public Services in the Department of Marine, Fisheries, Agriculture and Forestry (DMFAF) Batam City. This study aims to know whether there is and at what impact that Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability to Quality of Public Services in the Department of Marine, Fisheries, Agriculture and Forestry (DMFAF) Batam City. The method used in this study is the observation, questionnaires, interviews and a literature review with using data sourced from primary data and secondary data, analysis techniques used in other research is descriptive statistics which includes descriptive data, frequency, histograms and regression analysis, including multiple regression analysis, determination, F test and t test. Based on the results of F test, obtained F calculated is greater than the F table, which means the Information Technology and Civil Servant Work Capability jointly affect the Quality of Public Services, while the t test results, obtained t count bigger than t table on the means of Information Technology partial effect on Quality of society, but t count is less than t table obtained in the Civil Servant Work Capability means that the partial effect of Quality of Public Services.

Abstract

The sale and purchase transaction process are carried out through the internet using internet media using both smartphones and computers. The development of the internet has undergone a product sale and purchase transaction process. Various buying and buying transactions can only be done face-to-face, now it can be done through the internet called online stores. To support the freedom of online stores, a website or smartphone application is an important component that presents information in the form of text, images, sounds and others that are presented to find information in tracing and exploring information virtually on certain media. Many online sales websites will be seen from different levels of service. Therefore, the purpose of this analysis is to assess the performance of online store websites. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive research method with comparative analysis techniques. The results obtained from the level of online store service levels show that the percentage of satisfaction is 64.09% and an increase in performance perceptions occur because each online store has different features and different times.

Abstract

In a change from developing countries to developed countries requires a great effort by the government. With that goal the government to make changes in the system of government that is implementing the E -Government. Accelerate the process of procedures, transparency of information and ease of access to information as the purpose of this implementation. E-government is in need of some new information technologies as a support system. With the use of new information technology then there are some government employees who are less mastered for operationalizing. So the government provided training for these problems. Place the training of government officials called the IT Center. With the background of the research carried out to determine how the effect of E-Government and IT Center to Work Employee Productivity Results. E-Government measurement variables are informativeness, Information Format, Easy of Use, Timeliness, measurement Reliability. Variabel IT Center ( IT Training Center ) is Intsruktur, modules, training results. While the measurement variables for employee productivity is Job Performance, Initiative, Cooperation, Responsibility, Honesty.

Abstract

Smartphone applications has been growing rapidly with proven many applications that can be downloaded for free on the internet. One smartphone apps harnessed and used as this research is Whatsapp instant messaging. The application is a chat application that is popular amongst smartphone users. Whatsapp instant messaging applications facilitate communication between users free of charge for use of internet data connection to send messages, pictures, video, and voice communications. The object of the research is the students, where they use the application to obtain information and exchange of information among fellow students like the subject matter, schoolwork, extracurricular activities or activities. The purpose of the research conducted to determine how perceptions of the usefulness of whatsapp instant messaging applications on the students.

Abstract

Android dan iOS nowadays have become the most dominating operating system in smartphone markets. These two operating system continue to grow rapidly in terms of technology as well as the number of devices that exist in the world. However, consumers are still lacking of understanding on how to compare these two operating systems from various of aspects. So, this research is being conducted with the purpose to learn about the comparison of these two operating system in terms of features, utilizations and usability. Method that is being used in this research is descriptive analysis which in comparison of features and utilizations are using documentation and observation as data collection technique. For usability comparison is using questionnaire technique. Result of the research has shown that Android and iOS each have their unique features such as Google Hangouts with i-Message and Smart Caller ID with Facetime. Afterwards, comparison of utilizations has shown that Android is mostly being used for communication as for iOS more for information searching. Meanwhile, for descriptive result of usability has shown that Android and iOS have the same level of ease of use which is good.

Abstract

All information about e-tickets is stored digitally in the airline's computer systems. As proof of e-ticket expenses, customer will be given Itinerary Receipt which only applies as a tool to enter into the airport. The E-Ticket contains the same information that Paper Ticket provides, only E-Ticket data is contained in the airline's database system. While Paper Ticket data is on one or several sheets of paper and held by the consumer. The use of E-Ticket itself in Indonesia reaches 80%, mainly due to the increasing number of airlines offering cheap flights or promotions for domestic and international routes through their websites. With the ease of the system is required to test Quality Interaction Quality System E-Ticket with the aim to know the quality of service interaction system already offered. The level of quality interaction quality is measured by the reputation of the e-ticket website, the security of transactions, the security of the user's personal information, the space for personalization, the community, the ease of communication, the security of the flight procedure as promised. The method of analysis used in this research is descriptive. The result states that the level of interaction quality quality of the e-ticket system is well greened from several test factors.Keywords: E-Ticketing, Interaction Quality.Semua informasi mengenai e-ticket disimpan secara digital dalam sistem komputer milik perusahaan penerbangan. Sebagai bukti pengeluaran e-ticket, pelanggan akan diberikan Itinerary Receipt yang hanya berlaku sebagai alat untuk masuk kedalam bandara. E-Ticket memuat informasi yang sama dengan yang diberikan Paper Ticket, hanya saja data E-Ticket terdapat di dalam sistem database maskapai penerbangan. Sedangkan data-data Paper Ticket terdapat pada satu atau beberapa lembar kertas dan dipegang oleh konsumen. Penggunaan E-Ticket sendiri di Indonesia mencapai 80%, terutama karena semakin banyaknya maskapai yang menawarkan penerbangan dengan harga murah atau promosi untuk rute domestic maupun internasional melalui situs web mereka. Dengan kemudahan system tersebut maka diperlukan uji Mutu Interaction Quality System E-Ticket dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui mutu interaksi pelayanan sistem yang sudah ditawarkan. Tingkat mutu interaction quality diukur dari reputasi website e-ticket, keamanan untuk melakukan transaksi, keamanan tentang informasi pribadi pengguna, ruang untuk personalisasi, komunitas, kemudahan untuk berkomunikasi, keamanan prosedur penerbangan sebagaimana yang telah dijanjikan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji interaksi atau sering disebut dengan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil menyatakan bahwa tingkat mutu interaction quality sistem e-ticket baik ditijau dari beberapa faktor pengujian. Pengujian MRA menunjukan Variable independent yang digunakan berpengaruh sebesar 0,507 atau 50,7%.Kata Kunci: e-ticket, interaction quality.

Abstract

With the development of e-commerce, the sale and purchase transaction more and more. The scope of e-commerce is very wide because internet access is spread all over the region. The development of e-commerce users is affecting business in the delivery of goods. To know the goods have been processed for delivery or not the courier service delivery of goods provide trace and tracking system. In this study will examine how the accuracy of the quality of information on trace systems and tracking as a service system that provides convenience to users and customers in knowing where the goods we send or receive. The research variables as the direction of measurement are Interest (importance), Clarity (clarity), Relevance (relevance), usefulness (usefulness). Research method by means of descriptive research that is method used to analyze data by way of describing or describing data that have been collected. The samples taken are batam city people who have or are using the system trace and tracking courier services. The purpose of research to know how the quality of information displayed so as to provide information assessment for the community.

Abstract

Development of smartphones in Indonesia change the order of the marketing strategy in which the public interest is increasing to transact online without having to transact face to face (face to face). Changes towards online transactions also affect transactions in the banking industry. Service bank was developed to meet customer satisfaction include SMS banking and internet banking. With the existence of such services is expected to facilitate the effective and efficient transaction. Sophistication smartphone influential enough to service bank through the application of gadgets or ease of access intenet. From the description of this study is to see how the impact of the use of smartphone technology service bank. The method used is quantitative method by using statistical techniques. Primary data were collected through questionnaires to 158 respondents using incidental sampling technique wherein the determination technique based on chance. The description of the use of smartphones, SMS banking and interest in the use of e-banking presented through quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of quantitative descriptive analysis shows that the use of smartphones has been optimized, sms banking has been going well and the use of e-banking interests perceived high. The results of the analysis revealed that the development of smartphones have a positive impact on the utilization of bank service excellent views of internet banking or SMS banking.

Abstract

Website as electronic information media may present a variety of information quickly, effectively and efficiently. Optimal utilization of information technology is one of the key components in providing customer satisfaction. From these statements it is doing research analysis astra web-based information systems to customer satisfaction with dseskriptif quantitative research methods. Astra web-based information systems as variables x (independent) and customer satisfaction as the y variable (dependent). And produce research that the quality of web-based information system astra views of Usability, Graphic Design, Contents, Compatibility, Loading Time, accessibility, Interactivity is quite good and beneficial to the customer. In terms of customer satisfaction, the customer satisfied with the quality of the product / service, price, service quality, and ease to get astra product. While the trial found that the effect of quality web-based information systems astra affects customer satisfaction.
