Abstract

This study aied to improve the pre-mathematics ability through the introduction to pattern activity and classification  by using Cuisenaire block media on children of group A2 at Early Childhood Education Program (PAUD) of Haqiqi of Bengkulu City. The research method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted through two cycles and each cycle consisted on three meetings. The subject of the study were as many as 9 students consisted of 5 male student and 4 female students. Data collection technique was done by using observation method. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the average score and learning mastery score. The result of the study revealed that there was improvement on pre-mathematic ability of the children through the introduction to pattern activity and classification with the average  score of 4,3  and learning mastery of 86% categorized as very good criteria. It is suggested for the next research to use cuisenaire block as a media to measure other abilities with several aspect that need to be considered such as size and basic pattern.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orangtua dengan kemandirian anak di kelompok A PAUD IT Bina Iman Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh yang diterapkan orangtua terhadap kemandirian anak kelompok A PAUD IT Bina Iman Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh anak kelompok A PAUD IT Bina Iman Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel total dengan jumlah 25 orang. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket. Analisis data dengan analisis statistik menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orangtua yang menerapkan pola asuh demokratis terhadap kemandirian anak, dengan hasil perhitungan korelasi rhitung sebesar 0,87 lebih besar dari rtabel 0,388. Melalui penelitian ini disarankan untuk mempertahankan pola asuh yang ditetapkan secara konsisiten, sedangkan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut hendaknya mencari variabel lain yang berhubungan dengan kemandirian anak.

Abstract

The problem in this research was whether through storytelling with paper puppets (wayang kertas) can improve listening comprehension of group B students of Early Childhood Education Program of Tunas Harapan Bengkulu City. This research aimed to improve listening skill of early childhood students through storytelling with paper puppets media. The subject of this research was group B students with the total of 16 people consisted of 8 male students and 8 female students. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles, every cycle had three meetings. The technique of collecting the data was conducted by doing observation and interview. The data analysis technique was done by using mean test. The research result showed that through storytelling with paper puppets media in learning activity can improve listening skill of early childhood students. It can be proven by observation result that had reached 80% of learning mastery or the score of 4.0 at the end of the second cycle, the students’ listening score was 4.41 or classified as good category. From this research result it can be suggested for the teachers to improve the listening skill of early childhood students through storytelling with other puppets (wayang) media such as wayang kulit, wayang rumput, wayang kresek, and wayang klithik

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan metode karyawisata dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak Lab School PAUD UNIB Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dilaksanakan selama dua siklus dan tiga kali pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 8 anak perempuan dan 5 anak laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji rata-rata dengan persentase untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan belajar. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa keterampilan berbicara anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode karyawisata, dengan  ketuntasan belajar 84,2% rata-rata keterampilan berbicara anak 4,21 (Baik). Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, maka disarankan bagi guru untuk menerapkan metode karyawisata dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara, dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melanjutkan penelitian ini dengan mengamati keterampilan berbicara anak dengan metode yang lain seperti metode bercakap-cakap dan metode berceria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan reinforcement terhadap disiplin anak usia dini di PAUD Pembina 1 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jenis Korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 1 orang guru dan 14 orang anak kelas B 3 di PAUD Pembina 1 Kota Bengkulu.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dalam bentuk ceklis. Analisis data menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara reinforcement dengan disiplin anak usia dini di PAUD Pembina 1 Kota Bengkulu, sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Saran dari penelitan ini untuk guru yaitu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan penerapan reinforcement dalam menanamkan disiplin anak usia dini.Kata kunci : Hubungan Reinforcement, Disiplin Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop learning media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning primary school science in the form of powerpoint with fruit theme. The desig of this research used by Research and Development (R & D) were adapted from the Borg and Gall models. The subjects of this research consisted of a teacher and ten A group children for small group trials, while for large group trials in two teachers with two classes with nine each. To made effective media there were some things to gave attention such as the text introduced to the child begins with lowercase instead of capital letters, written spelling made in the media raised by letter because in the early class children the introduction of words easier to do with spelling alphabet. Then the inserted image wasn’t too much and the animation was too big can disturb the focus and concentration of the child on the material displayed. As well as the color of writing, the size of the writing should be enlarged with a bright color so didn’t make difficult for children to spell the text presented. In addition, the selection of videos tailored to the material and media objectives, so that the results of this research was ICT-based media in the form of powerpoint appropriate to use teachers in science learning for childhood.Keywords: ICT-based media, Science lessons, Early childhood 

MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF MELALUI KEGIATAN MIND MAPPING

Abstract

The problem in this research was whether through mind mapping activity can improve cognitive development on Group B2 of PAUD (Early Childhood Education) IT Ulul Albaab of Bengkulu. The aim of this classroom action research was to improve cognitive development through mind mapping activity on Group B2 of PAUD IT Ulul Albaab of Bengkulu. This was a classroom action research (CAR). In this research it was proven that through mind mapping activity can improve students’ cognitive development. It was proven from the average result of students’ cognitive development on cycle I reached the mean score of 3.70 with classical mastery of 74% which categorized as Good criteria, then on cycle II the mean score reached 4.27 with classical mastery of 85.4% which classified into Good criteria. The suggestion for teacher was to implement mind mapping activity to improve students’ cognitive development. Key words: Cognitive Development, Mind Mapping.
