Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (a) mendeskripsikan penguasaan keterampiaan menulis akademik mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) FKIP UNIB;  (b) menemukan kendala kegiatan menulis akademik mahasiswa Program Studi PBSI FKIP UNIB; dan  (c) memberikan  solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan kegiatan menulis akademik mahasiswa Program Studi PBSI  FKIP UNIB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Objek penelitian adalah 33 orang  mahasiswa PBSI semester III. Teknik pengumpulan data  dilakukan dengan cara tes menulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dengan cara melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil tes menulis mahasiswa berdasarkan rubrik penilaian yang telah disiapkan, hasil penilaian kemudian dikelompokan pada acuan penilaian, dan dijabarkan sesuai masing-masing komponen penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuh orang mahasiswa  mempunyai kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah pada kategori baik (21%), 4 orang pada kategori cukup (12%), 11 orang pada kategori kurang (33%) dan 11 orang pada kategori kurang sekali (33%). Kata kunci: keterampilan, menulis akademik, mahasiswa.   Abstract The objective of this research was to: (a) describe the mastery of academic writing skill of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI), FKIP at UNIB; (b) finding obstacles of academic writing activities of students of PBSI Study Program, FKIP at UNIB; and (c) providing solutions to overcome activity barriers in academic writing of student from of PBSI Study Program FKIP at UNIB. The method was qualitative method. The subject of research was 33 students from third semester. Technique of collecting was written test and interview. Data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistic, by assessing the results of student writing tests based on the assessment rubric that has been prepared, the assessment results were then grouped in the benchmark assessment and elaborated in accordance with each component of the assessment. The results showed that seven students had the ability to write scientific articles on good category (21%), 4 people in enough category (12%), 11 people in the category of less (33%) and 11 people in least category (33%). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the mastery of Indonesian language skills learning material of Indonesian Language Education Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Bengkulu University in 2016. The specific purpose of this research is to describe the mastery of learning material of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills student of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FKIP UNIB. The method used in this research is quantitative research method. Based on the results of the study, its noted that the mastery of learning materials of Indonesian Language Skills on Undergraduate Studies Program Language and Literature Indonesia FKIP UNIB is still relatively low. The results showed that students who have a very good understanding of the category of learning skills of Indonesian language is only 10% of the overall research object. Students who have a good understanding of the category of learning skills of Indonesian language skills as much as 24%. The number of students who have sufficient mastery of the subject matter of Indonesian language skills occupies the dominant percentage with 45%. Students in the category have less mastery of Indonesian language skills learning materials as much as 16%. While 5% of students fall into the category of having knowledge that is still less once for learning materials Indonesian skills. Students should have a better mastery of learning materials in Indonesian language skills as a basic capital to teach Indonesian subjects, especially at junior and senior high schools. Therefore in the future it is expected to do more effective learning process improvement related to Indonesian language skills learning materials, so that students' mastery of learning materials of Indonesian language skills will be better. Keywords: mastery, learning materials, speech skills

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan kekerabatan antara Bahasa Rejang, Serawai dan Pasemah. Ketiga bahasa ini dipilih karena merupakan bahasa daerah mayoritas yang digunakan masyarakat Provinsi Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik leksikostatistik yaitu suatu teknik untuk mengkaji bahasa dengan melakukan pengelompokan data secara statistik. Pengelompokan dilakukan berdasarkan persamaan dan perbedaan suatu bahasa dengan bahasa yang lain untuk mengetahui hubungan kekerabatan bahasa tersebut. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara kepada penutur asli tiap bahasa tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa waktu pisah bahasa Serawai-Rejang yakni antara 1327 –1138 tahun yang lalu, Bahasa Serawai-Pasemah yakni antara 455 - 347 tahun yang lalu sedangkan waktu pisah Bahasa Rejang-Pasemah yakni antara 1402 – 1188 tahun yang lalu. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ketiga bahasa tersebut masih dalam satu bahasa karena waktu pisah masih berkisar antara0-5 abad. Jika dilihat persentase kata kerabat dapat kita ketahui bahwa kekerabatan bahasa Serawai- Rejang 58%. Serawai-Pasemah 84% sedangkan bahasa Rejang-Pasemah 57% yang artinya, bahwa Bahasa Serawai-Rejang dan Rejang- Pasemah merupakan satu bahasa (language), sedangkan bahasa Serawai-Pasemah merupakan Keluarga (family) karena persentase kata kerabat 84%. Kata kunci: Leksikostatistik, Rejang, Serawai, Pasemah.  AbstractThe purpose of this study is to see the relationship between Rejang, Serawai and Pasemah language. These three languages were chosen because it is the majority area language used by the people of Bengkulu Province. The research method used is quantitative method with lexicostatistics technique that is a technique to study the language by doing grouping data statistically. Grouping is done based on the similarities and differences of a language with another language to know the kinship relationship of the language. The data were obtained based on interviews to native speakers of each language. From the result of the research, it is known that Serawai-Rejang split time is between 1327 - 1138 years ago, Serawai-Pasemah Language is between 455 - 347 years ago while the time of split of Rejang-Pasemah language is between 1402 - 1188 years ago. This shows that the three languages are still in one language because the time of separation is still ranged from 0-5 century. If you see the percentage of the word relatives we can know that the kinship language Serawai-Rejang 58%. Serawai-Pasemah 84% while Rejang-Pasemah language is 57% which means that Serawai-Rejang and Rejang- Pasemah Language is one language, while Serawai-Pasemah is Family because the percentage of the word is84% relative. Keywords: Leksikostatistik, Rejang, Serawai, Pasemah
