Abstract

Measure natural electric voltage at surface used Self-Potential method. Self-Potential one of the methods used to look at subsurface water flow. The negative or positive sign of potential is an important factor for the interpretation of Self-potential anomalies. The finite element technique is applied to model the velocity of water flow, current source, and potential value distribution in the form of  2-D profile. Finite element technique was chosen to solve the problem of boundary conditions and differential equations for Self-Potential modeling. Modeling current sources are obtained by intermediate gradient operation and water flow velocity . From the result of modeling, we get the value of water flow velocity between 10-6 - 10-4 m/s, current source, potential distribution, and potential response on the topography of the slope. Each topography produced different potential response forms, due to the electrokinetic effect. The water flow in the area with slopes topography often causes inundation due to inadequate absorption area, thus causing the grinding of the soil and destroying the road. From the results of this modeling is designed a good water absorption area using visio.

Abstract

Ministry of Transportation’s regulation no. 10/2011 defines that every public service, including public transportation, need to meet the minimum standard of service set by the government. It means that it has to qualify on criterias such as regularity, equality, accessability, comfort, safety and security. This research aims to find out the feasible design of Batam Trans Bus stop that fit the criterias.To achieve the goal, this research use qualitative technique, to gain th e information about service performance and sort the users need, and quantitative technique to draw the conclusions. This research also use Qualify Function Deployment (QFD) and Anthropometri. After the observation and measurement analysison some of bus stop in Batam , as example bus stop at Kepri Mall, Batamindo and kavling Baru, it had been found that facilities at Batam Trans Bus Stop haven’t met the minimum standard defines by regulation no.10/2011. Benches, stairs, pavilions, roofs, are facilities that are needed to be upgraded based on user of bus stop. The size differences on facilities are also being the users concern, such as benches height and width, stairs height and doors size.

Abstract

The results of this research is to calculate the total reduction in material handling withinthe warehouse current conditions, on the proposals 1 and 2 and counting the proposedreduction in the total distance of material handling. The results obtained in the initialconditions is 1305.1 m, whereas the proposed one condition, namely a decrease of 1137.07 m168.03 m with a percentage of 12.87% decline, and on condition that the proposed 2 933.28m decreased by 371.83 m from the initial conditions with the percentage of 28.50% decline.This result is a total trip takes material handling for storing and sending existing paintwarehouse.

Abstract
