Abstract

This research purposes to identify the level of relationship between students’ motivation in learning Sciences through extracurricular activity and their participation in classroom on the subject of Sciences. The object of research is an Islamic Integrated Primary School of Raudlatul Jannah Bogor District in Academic Year of 2014-2015. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the sample is all population of students, which takes in 39 students who are participating the extracurricular of Sciences. Furthermore, the technique of data collections is a questionnaire and observation. Additionally, the technique of analysis is Correlation Product Moment’s Pearson. In conclusion, it found that the result of research is shown there is a strong positive relationship between students’ motivation in learning Sciences through extracurricular activity and their participation in classroom on the subject of Sciences by the correlating index of 0,89 which means the relationship between motivation and participation is significant. Thereafter, the result of hypothesis test obtained ttest 11,77 and ttable 2,201 with the standard of significance α=0,05 Besides, the result of determination coefficient test on X variable namely students’ motivation in learning Sciences through extracurricular activity and Y variable namely the participation in classroom on the subject of Sciences obtained 79,21%, which means the motivation on extracurricular activity is contributing the participation on learning Science roughly 79,21% and the rest equally 20,79% is other factors which is contributing regarding students’ participation on learning Sciences in classroom.

Abstract

The Development Book of Story Based Sundanese Culture as Media on Indonesian Language with Pantun Material in IV Class, Elementary School. Djuanda Bogor University in 2017. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) which has a goal to know more a story of book based on Sundanese culture with learning method Indonesian language on pantun materials, another goal is to determine which one is the best of story book. The procedure of this research take a model of Borg and Gall theory, the development has five stages; find out the information, product plan, product development, validation product and evaluation of the product. To know quality of products is based on the learning aspect, materials, and looking with gift quetionnaires as a purpose to know the media developed worthy used or not as a learning media. The result of this a research are a book of story based on Sundanese culture used a learning method Indonesian language with pantun materials in class IV elementary school has good qualities based the material expert 43, maximum points from 50 with very good category. the media expert 68, maximum points from 75 with very good category. The teacher around  124.33, maximum points from 125 with very good category. Peer reviewer around 111.33, maximum points from 125 with very good category. Testing 49,44, maximum points from 50 with very good category. Temporary testing 49, maximum points from 50 with very good category, so that this is a book of Sundanese story has good using for taking in learning media Indonesian language with pantun material in grade IV Elementary School.

Abstract

Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini adalah ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal yang belum mencapai indikator penelitian minimal 75% dari jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM mata pelajaran Matematika yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah sebesar 65. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dan dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dan dua siklus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif think pair and share pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rancabakti Kecamatan Nanggung Kabupaten Bogor. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rancabakti sebanyak 26 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 14 siswa perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar mata pelajaran Matematika pada siklus pertama memperoleh nilai rata-rata 66,24 dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 61,54%, sedangkan hasil belajar siklus kedua memperoleh nilai rata-rata 76,73 dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 80,77%. Begitu pula dengan hasil observasi perilaku siswa menunjukan adanya peningkatan pada aktivitas siswa dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata pada siklus pertama yaitu 67,46, sedangkan siklus kedua memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,29. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif think pair and share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Matematika pada siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Rancabakti Kecamatan Nanggung Kabupaten Bogor. Selain itu model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penguasaan kosakata merupakan salah satu syarat utama yang menentukan keberhasilan individu untuk terampil berbahasa semakin kaya kosakata individu semakin besar kemungkinan individu untuk terampil berbahasa termasuk siswa down syndrome yang masih memiliki kosa kata yang sedikit. Penelitian studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kosakata siswa down syndrome kelas IV melalui metode kartu kata bergambar. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa down syndrome yang berjumlah satu orang kelas IV SLB-C Dharma Wanita Kota Bogor. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah menggunakan media kartu kata bergambar pada awal pertemuan sampai akhir pertemuan terdapat peningkatan kosakata. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa melalui pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media kartu kata bergambar dapat meingkatkan kosakata siswa down syndrome.Kata kunci: Kosakata, media kartu kata bergambar, siswa down syndrome THE USE OF PICTURE WORD CARD MEDIA TO IMPROVE VOCABULARY OF DOWN SYNDROME STUDENT AbstractMastery of vocabulary is one of the main requirements that determine the success of individuals to skilled speak the more rich the vocabulary of the individual the greater the likelihood of individuals to skill in the language including students down syndrome who still have a little vocabulary. This case study research aims to increase the vocabulary of grade IV down syndrome students through the method of pictorial word cards. The subjects of the study were down syndrome student, which amounted to one person of grade IV SLB-C Dharma Wanita Kota Bogor. Data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The results obtained after using the pictorial word card at the beginning of the meeting until the end of the meeting there is an increase in vocabulary. The conclusion from this research that through learning by using word card of pictorial can increase vocabulary of down syndrome students.
