Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas guru dan siswa, bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, dan bagaimana sikap siswa kelas VIIA MTs Al-Mufassir dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada pembelajaran matematika pokok bahasan segi empat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan berupa kegiatan siklus yaitu plan (perencanaan), act (tindakan), observe (pengamatan), dan reflect (refleksi). Sample dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan heterogen. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa, instrumen skala sikap untuk mengetahui sikap siswa dan tes untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan aspek kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada pokok bahasan segiempat. Disarankan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai masukan atau bahan pertimbangan bagi guru khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC perlu dikembangkan dan diterapkan karena pembelajaran tersebut dapat meningkatkan aspek kemampuan pemecahan masalah

Abstract

Komunikasi di dalam proses belajar sangat diperlukan karena komunikasi merupakan sesuatu yang utama dalam mengajar, menilai dalam pembelajaran matematika serta memudahkan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. komunikasi matematik mencakup beberapa hal yaitu kemampuan menulis, membaca, diskusi, evaluasi, dan berwacana.  Disamping itu yang perlu diperhatikan adalah model pembelajaran yang diterapkan guna menghadapi era globalisasi. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa salah satu model yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran adalah Make a Match. Abstract

The background of this study was the fact that students’ mathematical problem solving ability which was still low. The objectives of this study were: (1) determining whether the problem solving abilities of students under generative; teaching model were better than students under scientific teaching model or not; (2) determining quality of problem solving abilities of students under generative teaching model. A quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design was used as the research method. The participants of this study were 62 eighth graders of a junior high school in Bandung. The samples were two classes of students of the school; one class as the experimental group which was given generative teaching model, and the other as the control group which was given scientific teaching model. The data were obtained from mathematical problem solving test and observation. The results showed that: (1) the improvement of students’ mathematical problem solving under generative teaching model was better than students under scientific approach teaching.; (2) ) the quality of students’ problem solving abilities under generative teaching model and scientific teaching approach is middle.

Abstract

This study describes the exemplary teacher who is very influential on the learning process of students of SDN 4 Pulau Rimau in Pulau Rimau sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, in: (1) exemplary teachers, (2) understanding of teachers (3) understanding of exemplary teachers and, (4) types kind of exemplary teacher. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of case study at Rimau SDN 4 school. The research subjects were the Principal, Teachers, Education Personnel, and parents of students (school committees). The technique of collecting data uses observation and interview techniques, then the principal is oriented to supportive behavior, teacher behavior that has willingness, sincerity / sincerity, and seriousness in carrying out the task because the teacher is a figure who is cared for and imitated, disciplined education personnel, all of that make students at SDN 4 Rimau Island follow the example.

Abstract

The development and use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education can make reforms for a better education system. Current conditions at SDN 7 Rimau Island, Pulau Rimau sub-district, Banyuasin District, teachers face several difficulties in applying (ICT) in the teaching and learning process in schools, due to the absence of infrastructure such as computer laboratories, and mastery of ICT from teachers. Implementation of ICT guidance, training for teachers at SDN 7 Pulau Rimau in Pulau Rimau sub-district by providing knowledge and use of ICT in the learning process. The methods used are: lectures, discussions, and training. The application that is taught is flash, e-learning, management system learning is only an introduction and deeper in Microsoft Word. After attending this training, the teacher has the knowledge and understanding of the diversity of ICT applications. In addition, great motivation arises from the teacher to be able to control and optimize the use of ICT for teaching and learning in the classroom.
