Abstract

Low birth weight (LBW) is a significant public health problem in the world. It was estimated globally by the World Health Organization (WHO) that prevalence of LBW was 15% of all births. In Murung Raya district LBW cases remain high. This paper aimed to identify and discuss the relationship between environmental risk factors with LBW in Murung Raya.A spatial analysis was conducted with 150 women as the total participantswho were recruited through the incidence data in 2013-2014. The questionnaires, medical records, and geographic data were measured by Stata software, ArcGis, SatScan, and Geoda. The study results indicated there was significant correlation between health behavior and environmental variables with the strength of external neighborhood effect across LBW risk factors. More intense clustering of high values (hot spots) was found through the spatial analysis showing that most of the cases were located near the defined buffer zone. This research demonstrates that the spatial pattern analysis provided greater statistical power to detect an effect that was not apparent in the previous epidemiology studies.

Abstract

Kota Pekanbaru dan Kabupaten Pelalawan ditetapkan sebagai wilayah Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) flu burung setelah terjadi kasus Flu Burung yang menyebabkan kematian warga. Terjadinya KLB  dipengaruhi oleh faktor Lingkungan, Perilaku dan Pelayanan Kesehatan. Dilihat dari tingkat kegawatannya kasus ini harus segera diantisipasi sehingga tidak semakin meluas dan meresahkan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu perlu diketahui faktor yang cenderung mempengaruhi terjadinya penularan Flu Burung, sehingga masyarakat bisa lebih waspada terhadap segala kemungkinan penularan Virus H5N1. Rancangan Penelitian adalah Dekriptif Eksploratif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah semua penderita positif Avian Influenza dan pengelola program flu burung Kota Pekanbaru dan Kabupaten Pelalawan, yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor lingkungan yang dominan cenderung terjadi pada keluarga yang melakukan aktivitas beternak unggas dan kasus ini cepat diatasi. Upaya penanggulangan oleh pemerintah untuk kasus yang berhubungan dengan unggas sudah mempunyai Standar Opersional Prosedur yang jelas sehingga kasus cepat teratasi. Faktor perilaku yang dominan mempengaruhi terjadinya kasus flu burung ialah pada keluarga yang mempunyai kebiasaan menggunakan pupuk kotoran unggas dan kebiasaan orang tua membawa anaknya ketempat beresiko terjadinya flu burung.

Abstract

The etiology of Low Birth Weight (LBW) in Murung Raya is still unclear. This study aimed to find out the relationship between environmental and health behavior risk factors of LBW in Murung Raya. 150 women were recruited through the incidence data 2013- 2014, and the questionnaires, medical records, and geographic data were measured by McNemar, ANOVA, logistic, IRR, MI, z (Gi), and NNI tests. Bivariate analysis showed significant correlation of LBW with TBA care OR= 10, drinking popa OR= 5, smoking OR= 6.1, and accessibility OR = 2.3, with adjusted OR for TBA care OR= 32.78, ANC OR= 27.52 revealing trend lines with ANOVA F=49, and clustering RR=7, MI >0 (four clusters), z (Gi) >1 (two high clusters), and NNI>1 (two high clusters). The spatial analysis provided greater statistical power to detect an effect that was not apparent in the case-control study. This study suggests that preventions, interventions and treatment for LBW not only be conducted by the current epidemiology approach but also by new modern geographic positioning analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the description of students' self-confidence before and after given the pantun-reply technique, differences in students' self-confidence before and after given the pantun-reply technique and to increase students' self-confidence through group guidance. This research was conducted at Pekanbaru Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School towards 8 subjects with purposive sampling technique. The design of this study was pre-experiment with the one group pretest-posttest model. The data collection instrument used was an instrument consisting of indicators of student self-confidence before and after being given the pantun reply technique through group guidance with a significant value of 0.012 <0.05. The confidence of the 8 previous students was in the low category, increasing after being given the pantun reply technique through group guidance, most of which were in the high category. In addition, based on the rank spearman test, it was observed that there was a significant effect of the pantun reply technique on students' self-confidence by 78% while 22% was influenced by other factors that came from within the students and the environment.Key Words: Pantun Rewarding Technique, Self Confidence, Group Guidance

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to knowing the differences in interpersonal communication of students before anda after sociodrama thehnique was applied through group guidance and knowing the effect of sociodrama thechnique to improve student interpersonal communication through group guidance. The study was conducted in pekanbaru state SMP 13 towards 7 subjects with purposive sampling technique. One group pre-test post-test dmodel the data collectionn instrumen used was a personal communic measurement scale adapted from evi zuhara 2014. The results showed that there were differences in interpersonal communication before and after being given sociodrama technique with a significance value of 0,018 < 0,05 in addition, based on the spearman rank test, it is known that there is a signifivant effect between improve students personal communication significance 0,041< 0,05. The influence of sociodrama technique to improve student interpersonal communication is 60% ehole 40% effect by other factors that come from the student;s environtment. From the results obtained, it is recommended that educational institutions should continue to carry out activities that are able to improve students interpersonal communication in the teaching and learning proccess to encourage more perpersonal communication in the teaching and learning proccess to encourage more positive thoughts, perceptions, insight and student attitudes.Key Words: Sosiodrama, interpersonal communication, group guidance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of self control techniques on online game addiction behavior of students of Pekanbaru Muhammadiyah II Vocational School. This type of research is a quantitative research with Pre-Experiment method. The research design used in this study is "One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design". The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of measurement of Online Game addiction behavior which consists of 50 items before being validated, and after the validity is obtained valid items amounting to 30 items with validity of 0,250 and reliability of 0.747. Determination of the subject using purposive sumpling technique, and getting 7 subjects from the Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru Vocational High School who were identified as having a high level of online game addiction behavior. The data analysis technique used was a non-parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study proved that the research hypothesis was accepted. For this reason, it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of students' online game addiction behavior before and after being given treatment in the form of self control techniques. From the Rank Spream Test results obtained r = 0.782 while the correlation coefficient r2 is 0.612. Thus there is the effect of the Self Control technique on the online game addiction behavior of 0.61.2% students at the Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational School in Pekanbaru.Key Words: Self Control, Online Game Addiction Behavior for Vocational Students.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the background of the number of students in adolescence who do not have good emotional control, so they are on problems that harm themselves and others, the purpose of research to examine the effects of dhikr therapy on improving emotional control of students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research with the experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the emotional control measurement scale consisting of 55 items before validity, and after validity there were 32 valid items obtained with validity of 0.491 and reliability of 0.792. Determination of the subject using purposive sumpling technique, and get 7 subjects from SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru who were identified as having low levels of emotional control. The data analysis technique used is the non-parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study prove that the research hypothesis is accepted. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.018. Because the value of 0.018 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". Therefore, it can be concluded that there are differences in emotional control scores before and after treatment given in the form of dzikir therapy. Based on the calculations that have been done, 71% of the Pre-tests are in the low category and 29% in the moderate category. The post-test is 43% in the medium category and 57% in the high category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that dzikir therapy can improve emotional control of students SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru.Key Words : dhikr, emotional control

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to describe the self-control of students in SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru before and after being given therapy Al-Qur’an surah Al-Anfal verse 72 with guidance group, knowing the differences and influence of the therapy Al-Qur’an surah Al-Anfal verse 72 with guidance group to improve self-control of SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The study was conducted at SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru against 8 subjects with a purposive samplin teachnique. The research design was pre-experiment with the one group pre-test post-test model. The instrument of data collection used is the scale of measurement of self-control. The study showes that there were differences in self-control berfore and after the therapy Al-Qur’an surah Al-Anfal verse 72 based on the wilcoxon test results showed a significance value of 0,012 < 0,05. In addition, based on the Spearman rank test it is known that there is a significant influence between therapy Al-Qur’an surah Al-Anfal verse 72 on students' self-control with a significance value of 0,028 < 0,05. The influence of therapy Al-Qur’an surah Al-Anfal verse 72 on students’ self-control is 58% while 42% is influenced by other factors that come from within and from the student's environment.Key Words: Therapy Al-Qur’an, Surah Al-Anfal verse 72, Self-control, Group Guidance

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the aggressive verbal description of students before and after being given a Role Playing technique, students 'aggressive verbal differences before and after being given a Role Playing technique and to reduce students' aggressive verbal skills through group guidance. The research method used is a quantitative method with the type of pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest research. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of Pekanbaru State Junior High 1 with aggressive verbal high, amounting to 7 people. The instruments of data collection used were questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Non Parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon Test and the Spearman Rank Test. The results showed that aggressive verbal students before being given role playing techniques through group guidance were mostly in the high category at 14% and after being given role playing techniques through the guidance of verbal aggressive groups students experienced a decrease in the moderate category of 71, 42% and in the moderate category 28.57%. Based on the Wilcoxon Test there are significant differences in student self-confidence before and after being given role playing techniques through group guidance with a significance value of 0.018 <α 0.05. Based on the Spearman Rank Test, it can be concluded that the relationship between role playing techniques through group guidance and student confidence is in the high category of 0.793 or 62.8%. Next to find out the coefficient of determination as follows: (rs) 2 = (0.793) 2 = 0.628. This means that the influence of role playing techniques through group guidance services to increase student self-confidence is 62.8% while 37.2% is influenced by other factors that originate in students and from the student environment.Key Words: Role Playing Technique, Self Confidence, Group Guidance
