Abstract

Activity and social learning outcome grade IV of SD Negeri 2 Endang Rejo low. The purpose of this research is to improve activity and students learning outcomes with through the application of problem solving method. This type of research is a classroom action research stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique used nontes and test, data collection tool in the form of observation and test question. Analysis of data using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of problem solving method can improve activity and students social learning outcomes. It can be seen from the completeness of activity and student learning outcomes first cycle with category quite/moderate, increased in the second cycle with category active/more high.Aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Endang Rejo rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode problem solving. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik nontes dan tes, alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode problem solving dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa IPS. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa siklus I dengan kategori cukup/sedang, meningkat pada siklus II dengan kategori sangat aktif/sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, problem solving.

Abstract

Diabetes is one of the most serious diseases that commonly suffered by people around the world, including Indonesia. Early symptoms of diabetes could be observed from various indicators, one of which is through the retina. Retina conditions is affected by diabetics and when remain unproperly threated could lead to blindness. This retinal disorders due to diabetes is normally called Diabetic Retinopathy (DR). One method that able to distinguish and detect DR is microaneurysm detection. This method requires good quality of retinal images. However, in certain areas such as rural areas, this requirement may difficult to meet due to lack of adequate infrastructure. One solution that may overcome this problem is to compress the images. In this paper, image compression algorithms were applied to the retinal image, and then used to detect microaneuryms through Deep Learning-based systems. The result shows that the most stable and appropriate algorithm is PNG, which is able to correctly classify around 83% in accuracy with 5,5% variance.
