ANALISIS KEEFEKTIFAN PENGGUNAAN KALIMAT DALAM KARYA TULIS ILMIAH MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan penggunaan kalimat  dalam makalah mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian berupa 25 makalah yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) tahun akademik 2016/2017. Teknik pengumpulkan data menggunakan dokumentatif, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan prosedur kerja analisis kesalahan berbahasa yang meliputi, identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan penentuan frekuensi kesalahan, serta menyajikan perbaikannya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh 94 kesalahan berbahasa yang meliputi kesalahan dalam aspek struktur kalimat 24,7%, kesejajaran 16,5%, ejaan 26,8%, diksi 23,7%, dan kelogisan 5,32 %. Kesalahan terbanyak dalam penggunaan kalimat efektif  terdapat pada kesalahan  penggunaan struktur kalimat, ejaan, dan diksi. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam mengatasi kesalahan  penggunaaan kalimat  dengan membaca buku tata bahasa atau PUEBI, kamus, dan buku-buku penunjang lainnya. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perbaikan bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia dan teknik penyajian dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: kalimat efektif, karya tulis ilimiah, mahasiswa Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the abuse of effective sentences in student papers. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The source of research data in the form of 25 papers written by students of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) academic year 2016/2017 Data collection techniques use documentation. While the technique of data analysis using the working procedure of language error analysis that includes, data identification, data classification, and the determination of error frequency and presents the improvement. Based on the result of data analysis, there are 94 language errors which include in the aspect of sentence structure 24,7%, alignment 16,5%, spelling 26,8%, diction 23,7%, and logical 5,32%. The most effective use of effective sentences on errors in the use of sentence structure, spelling, and diction. The most effective use on errors in the of sentence structure, spelling, and diction. Therefore, it is necessary effort to be done in overcoming the effective use of sentence by reading the grammar book or PUEBI, dictionary, and other supporting books. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini beranjak dari masalah yang muncul pada siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung yaitu memiliki kesulitan di dalam menulis narasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data secara empirik tentang pengaruh berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik expost-facto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung, sampel penelitian di SDN Pelita dan SDN Karangpawulang dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan instrumen berbentuk esai untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis dan data kemampuan menulis narasi dilakukan dengan tes esai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berpikir kritis memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa kelas V di SDN Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung.  Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, kemampuan menulis, menulis narasi   Abstract. The Problems that arise in SDN Lengkong Sub-District Bandung are students of class V have difficulty in writing narrative. The general purpose of this study is to obtain empirical data about the influence of critical thinking skills to write narrative in SDN Lengkong class V student Subdistrict, Bandung. The method used is survey with expost-facto technique. This research was conducted at SDN Kecamatan Lengkong Kota Bandung. Research sample at SDN Pelita and SDN Karangpawulang with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study is  used essay-test instrument on critical thinking and data writing narrative skills done with essay test. Based on the results of research show that critical thinking gives influence the ability to write narrative at class V student in SDN Lengkong Subdistrict Bandung.  Keywords: critical thinking, writing skills, narrative writing

Abstract

Elementary school teacher candidates should be able to develop good teaching materials based on student’s age they teach. In fact, it is frequently found that elementary school teacher candidates write their papers only by copying from books or the internet. It is rarely found that they are able to develop and synthesize the materials they cited with their own vocabulary in their paper. The purpose of this study is to describe the benefits of using the Fry graph formula in analyzing the legibility of materials of PGSD students works which is made for elementary school teaching materials. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The results of the data analysis revealed student discourse that is not appropriate because of the lower level of legibility is 4 discourses (13.33%), which appropriate to its legibility is 8 discourses (26.67%), and those that are not appropriate because the higher level of legibility is 18 discourses (60%).
