Abstract

Effective foam composition has been produced as sound absorbing material based on sound absorption coefficient value. The method used is experimentation, by mixing the main ingredients (polyurethan) with the developer liquid (isocyanate). There are five variations of research, with the isocyanate as a control variable. The results obtained from the first to fifth variations in a row are 0.152; 0.072; 0.042; 0.028 and 0.056. From the findings it can be concluded that the less polyurethan is added the greater the absorption coefficient value

Abstract

Abstak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keberadaan didaktogenik sejumlah guru fisika tentang konsep gaya dan gerak. Terdapat 12 guru fisika yang terdaftar di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Pontianak berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Para guru diminta memberikan komentar/koreksi tertulis mengenai jawaban soal fisika tentang hukum-hukum Newton yang dibuat secara khusus untuk penelitian ini. Setiap konsep terdapat dua pertanyaan yang ekuivalen disertai dengan jawaban yang salah atau yang benar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komentar/koreksi guru mengandung didaktogenik. Jumlah komentar guru yang mengandung didaktogenik bervariasi. Konsep hukum Newton I dan hukum Newton II masing-masing tujuh (7) komentar. Konsep hukum Newton III dan penerapannya masing-masing empat (4) komentar. Didaktogenik para guru lebih banyak terungkap jika disajikan jawaban yang salah.   Kata Kunci: Didaktogenik, Hukum Newton, Komentar/koreksi guru   Abstract: This study was conducted to describe teachers’ didaktogenic about force and motion. The participants of the study were 12 teachers who officially recorded on The Office of Education Pontianak. Each participant was asked to assess about researcher’s work on several physics problems about Newton’s Law. There were two questions with answers for every concepts, correct and incorrect answers. Results reveals that most of the teacher’s comments have didaktogenic. There are seven (7) comments on Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Second Law, four (4) comments on Newton’s Third Law and the Application. They hold prevalent more didaktogenic when give comments on incorrec answer. Keywords: Didaktogenic, Newton’s Law, Teacher’s Comments

Abstract

Siswa menggunakan telepon genggam baik di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas, memberikan inisiatif pendidik untuk memanfaatkan kesempatan ini menjadi pembelajaran online. Fisika sebagai salah satu sains, dapat didukung dengan simulasi online dan model pembelajaran inovatif. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan simulasi online dapat memperluas literasi informasi dan membantu siswa dalam berargumentasi ilmiah pada fase penyelidikan. Itu terutama dalam memberikan data atau bukti-bukti yang mendukung klaim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan argumentasi ilmiah siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan simulasi online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas XI MIA 3 di SMA N 1 Prambanan Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan simulasi online dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai t value -11.051 < -1.711 bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata argumentasi pada pre-test (17) dan post-test (47). Dalam hal ini, siswa sudah mampu membuat klaim yang tegas dengan menyajikan bukti dan alasan namun kurang mendukung klaim

Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Web-Based Simulation (WBS) on Physics learning to enhance digital literacy skills of Grade XI students in high school. The level of digital literacy skills of the students in the experiment and control group before and after they study using WBS learning and none was determined respectively. The comparison of their levels before and after the study was done to determine the effectiveness of the WBS learning. The participants of this study were 49 students of science class, with 14-16 age. The research design in this study were descriptive-comparison and pretest-posttest experimental design. Data analysis using Anova mixed design with significant 5%. The result of this study are level of students' digital literacy skill before learning process is generally very low; but after the treatment these skill was comparatively increased. In addition, there was a significant difference in the level of digital literacy skill of the classes where the WBS learning is the more effective than direct learning to enhance students’ digital literacy skill.

Abstract

This study aims to investigation students’ digital literacy skill of students Grade X and XI in Senior High School in Yogyakarta. There are three step of this research. First, we construct the item format and aspect of digital literacy skill. Second, the administration of this research to 193 students of science class in Yogyakarta which selected randomly. The last, analysis data of students’ digital literacy skill based on educational level. For the profile of students’ digital we used descriptive and quantitative statistics (frequency and percent). To determine the significant difference of the students’ level we also used independent sample t-test. Result of this study is the students’ digital literacy skill of all students are very low level. In addition, there is significant difference of students digital literacy skill based on educational level. The conclusion is students’ digital literacy skill in Yogyakarta is very low and there must an effort to force these skill. Recommendation for the future study is to developing a learning model that can enhance students’ digital literacy skill. For the policy makers, learning based on digital literacy skill must be integrated on the curriculum. ICT learning should be thought to students in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta
