Abstract

The solution of Schrödinger equation for the simple harmonic oscillator has been investigated and explored. The solutions are coordinate representation or momentum representation. The eigen energy is .  The expectation value is  respectively. Both Method will produce similar result.

Abstract

It has been calculated theoretically using the partial wave methods for the elastic scattering differential cross-section of electron-argon at 10.4 eV.  The wave function from Schrodinger equation  was computed by the Numerov integration methods.  For simplicity of scattering system , the Gaussian potential form has been employed.  For comparison between theoretical and experimental approach then we used the test. The  for this research is 2.386 that shows this calculation is good.

Abstract

Online tutorials as a form of student services is expected to contribute to the success of student learning. This article is written based on the research on the online tutorial activities of Strategic Management Courses (EKMA4414) and student learning outcomes in the registration period of 2009.1 at UPBJJ-UT Batam. Data were collected using purposive sampling of 167 students registered in online tutorial. Results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the initiation of online tutorials materials of strategic management course were generally in line with course objectives. However, the presentation is said to be less systematically delivered by most students. This causes some students to not actively engaged in the tutorial and do the exercises and tasks. However, for students who are actively following tutorial by participating in discussion and exercises, their activities contribute to the final grade. Tutorial online sebagai salah satu bentuk layanan mahasiswa diharapkan memberiukan kontribusi terhadap keberhasilan belajar mahasiswa yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai akhir. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang kegiatan tuton mata kuliah Manajemen Strategi (EKMA4414) dan hasil belajar mahasiswa masa registrasi 2009.1 di UPBJJ-UT Batam. Data dikumpulkan secara purposive dan analisa yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sekelompok mahasiswa berjumlah 167 orang yang melakukan registrasi tutorial online. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa materi inisiasi tutorial online Manajemen Strategi pada umumnya dinyatakan sangat sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Namun demikian sistematika penyajiannya masih dikatakan kurang baik oleh sebagian mahasiswa. Hal ini menyebabkan tidak semua mahasiswa aktif mengikuti tuton dan mengerjakan tugas-tugasnya. Namun demikian bagi mahasiswa yang aktif mengikuti tuton, berdiskusi dan mengerjakan tugas, terlihat bahwa keaktifan mereka berkontribusi dalam memperoleh nilai akhir mata kuliah yang cukup baik

Abstract

The research computed the energy levels and radial wave functions of the  Hydrogen Atom. The method used for computation was FEM (finite element method). Using the variational method approach, FEM was applied to the action integral of  Schrödinger equation. This lead to the eigenvalue equation in the form of  global matrix equation. The results of computation were depended on boundary of the action integral of Schrödinger equation and number of elements. For boundary 0 - 100a0 and 100 elements,  they were the realistic and best choice of computation to the closed  analytic results. The computation of first five energy levels resulted E1 = -0.99917211 R∞, E2 = -0.24984445 R∞, E3 = -0.11105532 R∞,           E4 = -0.06247405 R∞ and  E5 = -0.03998598 R∞ where 1 R∞ = 13.6 eV. They had relative error under 0.1% to the analytic results.
