Abstract

ABSTRACT A descriptive study has been conducted to determine students’ scientific attitude in biology learning with project based learning model on the topic of organic waste recycling for grade X SMAN 1 Lirik school year 2013/2014. The population of this study was grade X students of SMAN 1 Lirik school year 2013/2014 and the sample was 29 students of Xb class SMAN 1 Lirik, that consists of 8 male students and 21 female students. Parameters of this study were students’ scientific attitude and the indicators were curiosity, responsibility, collaboration, toleration and thoroughness. Observation sheet and peers questionnaire were used as data collecting instruments. The result showed that the percentage of students’ scientific attitude obtained through observation sheet was 76,2% with good category and obtained throught peers questionnaire was 71,6% with good enough category. Based on the study that has been conducted in SMAN 1 Lirik school year 2013/2014, students’ scientific attitude has became better at biology learning with project based learning model on the topic of organic waste recycling Key Words: Project Based Learning, Students’ Scientific Attitude

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to describe competence of biology teachers at public senior high school pekanbaru on action research. This study hold on Desember 2015 until March 2016. The sample of this study was 29 biology teachers at Public Senior High School in Pekanbaru that selected by purposive sampling. This study conducted with closed-ended and open–ended questionnaire. The closed-ended questionnaire consist of 17 items and divided into 3 indicator. The indicator are motivation, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skill and then 42 item about Class action Reset included 4 indicator. The indicatore are (Device class action research, backgroundclass action research, Implementation and Results class action research). The whole item questionnaire enclosed declared valid and reliable. Closed questionnaire obstacle teachers through Pearson correlation test, where all items declared valid, reliability test questionnaire through Cronbachs alpha test alpha of 0.89 was obtained. Validity and reliability were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Studies) v ersion17.00f or Windows. Whereas the questionnaire reliability test comprehension test values obtained using 4.9 anates 0.9. Data were analyzed descriptively. Overview obstacles Biology teacher SMA Pekanbaru in envolving the action research as follows: Motivation show sufficient criteria with a mean 3.01, ICT Skills showed sufficient criteria to average 3.39. While understanding class action research also showed sufficient criteria with the average percentage of 61.87%. Thus, it is known that the High School Biology teacher Pekanbaru action research implementation by category quite well. Key Words: Teacher competence, Action research, Senior high school,Biology teacher

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research aimed to identification of bacteria market organic waste Pekanbaru city om march-June 2016. Result of the research use for make a material learning design the form student worksheet in biologi SMA. The research conducted with 2 phase namely experimental research and design or material learning the from student worksheet. Method of the research is purvosive sampling method wich set sampel taked location based on waste spread. Identification of bacteria wich macroscopis observation is cell shape, edge cell and colour cell wall bacteria, gram colour, and Biohchemical test. Result of research showed 10 genus bacteria found from 4 market Pekanbaru city, 10 genus of bacteri consist of genus Enterobacter, Streptococcus, Streptomyces, Holobacterium, Proteus, Eschericia, Neisseria, Pseudomonas, Klebseilla and Bacillus. Abstract

ABSTRACT  A class action research has been done to the increace motivation and skill students with application of learning models Science Technology Society (SENT) with approaches Natural Roaming Around (JAS) in the class X SMAN 1 Kampar. This research was conducted from April to June 2015. The subjects were students of class X MIA1 semester totaling 34 students, consisting of 8 male students and 26 female students. The parameters in this study is motivation and skill students. The results showed that the motivation and skill students has to increased. On learning motivation of 6.41% was obtained after at cycle I and increased to 10.56% at cycle II. Skills such products LKPD and reports have increased at cycle I is 3.21 predicate B + (Good) and increased to 3.58 predicate A- (Excellent) at cycle II. On average skill products has risen 3.43 predicate B + (Good) at cycle I in the form of Mading three-dimensional (3D) and increased to 3.63 predicate A- (Excellent) at cycle II in the form of Bokashi. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of learning models Science Technology Society (SENT) with approaches Natural Roaming Around (JAS) can be to improve motivation and skill students of biology in the class X MIA1 SMAN 1 Kampar. Keywords: Learning models SENT, JAS approach, Learning Motivation, skill Students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Telah dilakukan penelitian deskriptif di SMPN 1 Kecamatan Bungaraya, kabupaten Siak sri indrapura pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2016 untuk mengetahahui profil profil hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah tema pencegahan kebakaran lahan dan hutan berbasis pendekatan konstruktivisme. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Bungaraya. Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan secara purposive sampling sebanyak 60 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah jawaban LKPD berbasis pendekatan kontruktivisme, yaitu : pencetusan ide, aplikasi, dan refleksi dan angket tertutup yang terdiri dari  4 indikator sikap ilmiah yang diukur adalah rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab,berpikir kritis dan peduli lingkungan Instrumen yang digunakan telah valid dan reliabel. Analisa data penilaian sikap merupakan modifikasi dari penilaian sikap berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 (Kemendikbud 2013). Hasil analisisa di tampilkan dalam tabel dan selanjutnya dibahas secara deskriptif.Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisa secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar berbasis pendekatan kontruktivisme dengan rerata 3.35 dikategorikan baik, berarti siswa telah memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai materi pembelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan isu kebakaran lahan dan hutan. Sikap Ilmiah siswa secara keseluruhan dikategorikan Baik. Sikap ilmiah tertinggi adalah tanggung jawab dan yang terendah adalah berpikir kritis. Kesimpulan hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMPN 1 Bungaraya dikategorikan Baik. Keywords : Hasil Belajar, Sikap Ilmiah, Kebakaran lahan dan hutan, Konstruktivisme

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the concentration of the most well Microorganisms Local (MOL) banana weevil in the composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm. The research was conducted from February to June 2016. The results are used as development Worksheet Students (LKPD) Class X High School Biology. This research was done in 2 stages: stage composting using oil palm empty fruit bunches Local Microorganisms (MOL) banana weevil in the Laboratory of Biology of Natural PMIPA using the RAL consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The development phase Worksheet Students (LKPD) development model ADDIE ((Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), composting of empty fruit bunches of oil palm consists of preparation of tools and materials to be used, composting, observation of the composting process and stages completion. the parameters in this study is the C / N ratio of compost, temperature, and humidity . The result showed that the treatment with a concentration of 4 ml MOL banana weevil is the best concentration in composting palm empty fruit bunches of oil.
