Abstract

PT. Bank X (Persero), Tbk has credit business unit and one of them is located in Bogor, which experienced decreased performance from year to year because of the increasing of competitiveness among rivalry. The decrease of performance measured both from realization of distribution credit and level of bad loans or Non Performing Loans (NPL). This research aimed to analyze the loan portfolio strategies based on the precautionary principle in the company. This research begins with identification factors affecting the company on its business both internal and external factors. The study was conducted qualitatively by filling questionnaires and in-depth interviews to seven experts on credit sector. Internal and external factors are treated with EFE-IFE matrix then IE matrix to determine the condition of the company, then a SWOT analysis to formulate some alternative strategies was carried out and last method is QSPM to choose the best strategic alternatives for the company. The results showed that the relative strength of the company has not been strong in overcoming internal weaknesses, but the company is considered good enough to take advantage of the opportunities that exist outside and can overcome challenges. Interest rates on loans, convenience and services to debtors, the technology owned by, also the opening of the public mindset about the banking world are the important factors that affect the company in doing business. Based on the QSPM result, supply chain utilization from existing debtor is the best strategy for prudent lending in company.Keyword: loan, non performing loan, IE Matrix, SWOT, QSPMABSTRAKPT. Bank X (Persero), Tbk memiliki salah satu unit bisnis penyalur kredit yang terletak di Bogor dan mengalami penurunan kinerja dari tahun ke tahun akibat persaingan yang semakin kompetitif. Penurunan kinerja tersebut diukur dari sisi realisasi penyaluran kredit maupun dari tingkat kredit macet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi penyaluran kredit yang didasari dengan prinsip kehati-hatian di perusahaan. Penelitian diawali dengan identifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perusahaan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya baik faktor internal maupun eksternal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif melalui kuesioner dan in-depth interview kepada tujuh orang pakar perkreditan yang dipilih secara sengaja. Faktor internal dan eksternal tersebut diolah dengan matriks IFE-EFE dan matriks IE untuk mengetahui kondisi perusahaan, kemudian dilakukan analisis SWOT untuk merumuskan beberapa alternatif strategi dan metode QSPM untuk memilih alternatif strategi terbaik bagi perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan relatif belum baik dalam menanggulangi kelemahan internal, namun perusahaan dinilai dapat merespon dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada di luar dan dapat mengatasi tantangan yang ada. Suku bunga pinjaman, kemudahan dan layanan bagi debitur, teknologi yang dimiliki serta semakin terbukanya pola pikir masyarakat tentang dunia perbankan merupakan faktor-faktor penting yang memengaruhi perusahaan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Berdasarkan hasil QSPM, pemanfaatan supply chain debitur eksisting merupakan strategi terbaik untuk penyaluran kredit secara prudent. Kata kunci: pinjaman, kredit macet, Matriks IE, SWOT, QSPM

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze the conditions of the performance competition on the financial aspect of BPRS HIK Ciledug and the market leader in BPRS industry; 2) to identify the internal and external factors affecting the corporate development and strategic position of BPRS HIK Ciledug based on these factors; and 3) to formulate an accurate alternative strategy and a priority that can be recommended to the company in achieving its goals. Analysis of the evaluation of internal and external factors based on the components contained in the Shariah Maqashid and based on the components on The Porters Five Forces. The analysis of the companys strategic position based on the market growth rate and relative market share on the internal strength was conducted by using BCG matrix (Boston Consulting Group), and the analysis on the alternative strategy formulation was conducted by using IE matrix (Internal-External Matrix), and the QSPM analysis served to determine the priority strategies to increase the assets of BPRS HIK Ciledug. The main weaknesses that should be handled is the lack of scoring systems of financing and the main opportunity is the great number of written requirements for obtaining the financing provided by its competitors. The prioritized strategies of SRB HIK Ciledug include: 1) product development strategy to create innovative products, 2) Market penetration strategy by changing the amount of share returns, 3) Market development strategy by opening new branches, and 4) Backward, forward and horizontal integration strategies by introducing products to various industries.Keywords:  strategies in increasing assets, sharia community financing bank, BPRS Harta Insan Karimah, QSPM
