Abstract

This study aims to describe the traditional game played hopscotch elementary school children in the Hamparan Perak village. This study used a qualitative approach. The subjects were children of primary school age who live in the Hamparan Perak village. Data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the traditional hopscotch game in Hamparan Perak village there are three forms of the scarecrow, box, and aircraft. Game hopscotch jump performed by each of the rectangular pattern is drawn with one leg bent and the foot is lifted. All four terms that have been bypassed by gacok, players have the opportunity to embellish the house in one of the boxes, by throwing gacok to one rectangle with the backs of hopscotch. Players who earn the most home wins stamp.Keywords : traditional games, social skills

Abstract

Math is never separated from the activities of life, not least the traditional game. The study aims to 1) describe the types of traditional games related to mathematical activities, 2) examine the role of traditional children's games in the practice of numeracy skills, and 3) examine the role of traditional children's games in introducing flat shape to children in Hamparan Perak Village. This study used a qualitative approach that the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The subjects of this study are elementary school children (SD) who are domiciled in Hamparan Perak Village. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the research are: 1) traditional game types that have the mathematical activities of traditional games, complexes, marbles and rocks, 2) traditional games to train children to count, recognize numbers, and numeracy skills such as addition and multiplication, 3) traditional games making children will be lines, rectangles, rectangles, and triangles.

Abstract

This study aims to: a) describe the character of students in learning mathematics in Private Primary Schools (SDS) full day school, b) knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation and strengthening of characters in mathematics learning at SDS full day school. This study used qualitative research methods. This research was carried out at SDS IT Siti Hajar. Data collection techniques by observation and interview. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that 1) the character of students in mathematics learning included religious, honest, independent, tolerant, hard work, curiosity and responsibility 2) supporting factors for character building in mathematics learning include mathematics teacher, informal learning climate or not rigid, and varied learning methods while the inhibiting factors cannot be implemented in strict class rules in the form of penalties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy matematis siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa di SD kelas rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk kedua variabel adalah skala self-efficacy untuk melihat self-efficacy matematis siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dari kegiatan Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS). Skala self-efficacy memuat 20 pernyataan yang memuat empat alternatif jawaban. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas rendah SD yaitu 156 siswa dengan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak  63 siswa. Data dianalisis dengan Pearson yang dilanjutkan dengan uji-t, sebelumnya diperoleh bahwa data self-efficacy dan hasil belajar matematika berdistribusi normal dan linear. Data self-efficacy yaitu 0,173 > 0,05 dan data hasil belajar matematika siswa yaitu 0,2 > 0,05. Linearitas dipenuhi yaitu 0,04 < 0,05. Diperoleh  thitung = 2,9255 sedangkan ttabel = 1,9996, jadi thitung>ttabel  artinya Ho ditolak. Dapat dinyatakan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa SD kelas rendah.
