Abstract

Ngusaba Padi Ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple, Adat Village Babahan, District Penebel, Tabanan Regency is a ceremony presented to Dewi Sri when rice field has yellowing. This research was conducted to give understanding to the community in Babahan village considering Ngusaba Padi ceremony that done, containing the teachings that closely with the values of Hindu religious education. Besides, the researchers get the finding that not all members of subak understand about the meaning and value of education contained in the ceremony. This resulted in several stages in the Ngusaba Padi ceremony not performed or missed by the Babahan people. In general, this study aims to reveal, understand and analyze about the values of Hindu religious education contained in Ngusaba Padi Ceremony holistically and comprehensively in accordance with the tradition in Subak Uma Utu Temple,  Adat Village Babahan, District Penebel Tabanan Regency. There are values of Hindu religious education in Ceremony Ngusaba Padi contained in it.Researchers formulate some of the problems studied To be able to understand and describe the values of education contained in the ceremony Ngusaba Padi, among others: 1) How the form of  Ngusaba Padi ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple, Babahan Village, District Penebel, Tabanan regency ?, 2) What is the meaning contained in Ngusaba Padi Ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple Babahan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency ?, and 3) What values of Hindu religious education are contained in Ngusaba Padi ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple Babahan village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency ?. The formulation of the problem is analyzed using the theory: 1) Religious Theory is used to dissect the number one problem. 2) Communication Theory is used to dissect the second problem, and 3) Value Theory is used to dissect problem number three. This type of research is qualitative and uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Types and data sources, namely primary and secondary data. The method used in this research is the method of observation, interview method, documentation study and literature study.The result of this research stated that: 1) The form of the implementation of Ngusaba Padi Ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple Babahan Village Penebel Sub-district, Tabanan Regency consists of the initial preparation of Ngusaba Padi ceremony and the implementation of Ngusaba Padi ceremony. 2) The meaning contained in the Ceremony of Ngusaba Padi is a sense of gratitude, fertility and also praise of gifts given by the universe through the harvest in accordance with what is expected. 3) The value of education contained in Ngusaba Padi ceremony at Subak Uma Utu Temple Babahan Village, District Penebel, Tabanan District are: (1). The value of Religious Education, (2). The Value of Togetherness Education and, (3). Value of Aesthetic Education (beauty).

Abstract

The problem of education is an issue of human life throughout their life, both as individuals, social groups as well as members of society. A hope for the government and society to the generations of Hindu that schools of Hinduism can be built not only in formal education but through education in formal and non-formal as in the rise and pasraman-pasraman in every Pakraman in Bali, so the creation of a religious culture, the strong one.The phenomenon that occurs in the Hindu generation, where Hindu religious education in the learning process in schools to create a culture of religious solely to meet the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects whereas as if ignored, this happens because of the situation of globalization. Build or revitalize Hindu religious education is actually the duty of teachers and parents with instilling religious values to create a religious culture. A religious culture that is based on religion teacher jobs, selfless, is also a method for building ones values in a comprehensively manner.

Abstract

The activities of the teacher which are hard work, smart work, compassion, and discipline should be a guide in character education in schools. This is very important, especially to achieve optimal results so that students as the young generation has high-quality as expected which is the hope of the Indonesian government. This is done with the aim of preventing people's concerns for the loss of identity/character of the learners.With a high character, it will bring learners to have moral rooted in the philosophy, experience, and have the value of cultural religions of Indonesia. Thus, Character Education must be sustainable and never-ending as an integral part to prepare the nation's tailored aligned with a human figure with a good future.Character education must cultivate philosophy and practice of the whole character of this nation, whole, and comprehensive (kaffah). The character of the nation contains cultural adhesives and cultural which must be realized in cultural awareness and cultural intelligence (cultural intelligence) of every citizen.

Abstract

Sekolah dapat menjadi wahana pendidikan karakter yang andal dan efektif bagi pembentukan idividu. Sekolah dapat memanfaatkan locos educationis di dalam lembaga pendidikan sebagai  praksis pendidikan karakter. Sejak dahulu sekolah memiliki dua tujuan utama dalam karya pendidikan mereka, yaitu membentuk  manusia yang cerdas, dan berbudi luhur. Mundurnya pendidikan karakter, kita wajib bertanya kembali pada diri sendiri dan pada orang lain terkait relevansinya pendidian karakter dalam sekolah. Kalau masih relevan, bagaimana kita sekarang mau menghidupkan kembali, dan melalui momen-momen pendidikan (locus educationis) mana, kita dapat memberikan pendidikan karakter itu di dalam diri peserta didik. Hancurnya nilai-nilai moral dalam masyarakat yang ditandai dengan merebaknya kekerasan seperti; pemerkosaan gadis dibawah umur, pembunuhan, narkoba dan lain-lainnya, fenomena inilah membutuhkan kelahiran baru pendidikan karakter di dalam sekolah. Momen-momen dalam lingkungan sekolah yang dapat dipakai sebagai sebuah sarana atau kesempatan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter, telah melibatkan jaringan relasional antara staf sekolah dengan orang tua dan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Sekolah sebagai wahana penguatan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Peningkatan sumber daya dan kemajuan umat Hndu di kabupaten Gianyar nampaknya memerlukan sebuah proses, usaha pemerintah dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia baik dalam bidang pembangunan dan pendidikan keagama, semua itu tidak lepas dari kesiapan pemimpin pada suatu organisasi dalam menyediakan pelayanan. Dalam pengelolaan bidang pembinaan umat Hindu oleh penyuluh Non-PNS, guna terciptanya penguatan budaya kerja, dalam proses pencapaian kemajuan, meningkatnya sumber daya manusia di bidang agama dan keagamaan, maka diperlukan komitmen dan upaya dari penyuluh untuk menjalankan tugas dan kewajibannya sebagai pelayan masyarakat, yang merupakan wujud dari karma marga. Upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan secara intlektual pembinaan-pembinaan penyuluh terhdahap umat Hindu terus ditingkatkan demi mencerdaskan dan memajukan umat Hindu di kabupatern Gianyar. Hal ini dilakukan sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003, pasal 30, ayat 2 menyatakan bahwa pendidikan keagamaan berfungsi mempersiapkan peserta didik menjadi anggota masyarakat yang memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai ajaran agama. Penguatan budaya kerja penyuluh menjadikan efisien efektif, apa bila penyuluh telah melakukan kinerja sesuati dengan terjadwal. Budaya organisasi dalam sebuah lembaga baik pemerintah maupun swasta yang diterapkan dengan kuat dan positif akan menjadikan manajemen secara efisien dan efektif, karena menghasilkan hal-hal seperti; nilai, prilaku, adanya musyawarah, dan kegiatan berorientasi pada misi.Kata Kunci: Penguatan budaya kerja penyuluh Non-PNS.

Abstract

Education Skills is expected to provide knowledge that allows people to overcome life problems in their professional duties and in daily life. Therefore teachers in carrying out their duties professionally, critical and creative thinking skills are needed, problem solving skills and decision making, as well as in Higher Education lecturers educate their students to be able to think critically and creatively in solving all problems they face. Abstract

AbstractGovernment policy in a program with education care, and early childhood development (PAUD) as a concrete manifestation of the government’s commitment is in the document “National Program for Indonesian Children (PNBAI). The important value of early childhood (early childhood) period for the growth and development ofchildren in the future, is increasingly realized by parents. This growing awareness raises an escalation of interest for quality early childhood education that can meet their expectations. The intelligence that occurs in children, cognitive theory and psychoanalytic theory is very important in supporting children play a reference in determining the stage of child development in terms of cognitive, afktif, psikomotorik, language, and social emotional. Early childhood learning approach as the main arena in instilling knowledge of Indonesian children aged 4-5 years is done with various setrategi as a skill in mengartur appropriate learning, in order to achieve maximum results which is the hope of society. In some rural communities, many still do not take advantage of their early childhood education opportunities, many factors affect the economy, parents, and the distance to school. During this education from tingkan PAUD to kindergarten in rural areas almost mostly built by the party suwasta in the form of the foundation. This is something that needs to get the attention of the central government to the district level. Nilai penting periode anak usia dini (PAUD) bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak dimasa yang akan datang, semakin disadari oleh orang tua. Kesadaran yang terus tumbuh tersebut menimbulkan eskalasi/pertambahan minat terhadap pendidikan anak usia dini yang berkualitas yang bisa memenuhi harapan mereka. Kecerdasan yang terjadi pada anak-anak, teori kognitif dan teori psikoanalitis sangat penting dalam menunjang main anak menjadi acuan dalam menentukan tahap perkembangan anak baik dari segi kognitif, afktif, fisikomotorik, bahasa, maupun sosial emosional. Pendekatan pembelajaran anak usia dini sebagai ajang utama dalam penanamkan pengetahuan terhadap anak Indonesia yang berumur 4-5 tahun dilakukan dengan berbagai setrategi sebagai sebuah ketrampilan dalam mengartur pembelajaran yang sesuai, agar mencapai hasil maksimal yang merupakan harapan masyarakat. Di beberapa masyarakat daerah pedesaan masih banyak belum memanfaatkan kesempatannya untuk membeikan pendidikan usia dini terhadap anak-anak mereka, hal ini banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi misalkan, ekonomi, kesibukan orang tua maupun jarak
