Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh latihan kelincahan di tiga media tempat (permukaan keras, pasir, dan air) pada atlet putra UKM Bolabasket Universtias Binadarma. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan Three Group Pretest-Posttests Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah atlet putra UKM Bolabasket Universtias Binadarma yang berjumlah 30 atlet. Sampel penelitian ini 30 atlet yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen mengukur kelincahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Illinois Agility Run Test . Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah ANOVA satu jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji rentang Tukey pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan pengaruh latihan kelincahan di tiga media tempat yang signifikan (p = 0.02 < 0.05). Untuk meningkatkan kelincahan lebih tepat jika berlatih menggunakan media pasir.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to examine the effect of Company Size proxied by Total Asset, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Equity (ROE), Productivity proxied by Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), and Current Ratio (CR) both partially and simultaneously towards Bond Rating. Bond rating is important to be considered by investors and creditors since it can indicate the company’s default risk. The objects of this study are financial institution which were entire financial companies that issuing bonds and rated by PT PEFINDO for 2012, 2013, and 2014, and listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange periode 2011-2013. Total sample in this research are 18 companies that selected with purposive sampling and analyzed by using multiple regression method. The data used in this study are secondary data such as financial statements and list of bond rating PT PEFINDO. The result of this research indicates that (1) Company Size proxied by Total Asset had a significant affect towards bond rating (2) Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) had no effect towards bond rating (3) Return On Equity (ROE) had no effect towards bond rating (4) Productivity proxied by Total Asset Turn Over (TATO) had no effect towards bond rating (5) Current Ratio (CR) had no effect towards bond rating (6) Company Size, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return On Equity (ROE), Productivity, and Current Ratio (CR) simultaneously have a significant effect towards Bond Rating. Abstract

Background: For two years implementation of PBL in Faculty of Medicine Islamic University of Sumatera Utara several phenomenon should be evaluated such as various performance of tutor in facilitating PBL and student’s self study not much. This research aimed to evaluate the relationship between tutor performance and student’s self study and reporting process in PBL.Method: This was observational analytical research, cross sectional study with population of all students of Faculty of Medicine Islamic University of Sumatera Utara. Primary data was collected from June to August 2009. Instrument used were tutor performance evaluation questionnaire, self learning activity evaluation questionnaire and student’s self study and reporting process in PBL questionnaire with Likert scale. Kruskall Wallis test was used to assess the relationship between tutor and student performance.Results: Average score of tutor performance on first year was higher compared to the second year students (p=00,32). There is significant difference in student’s self study and report process in PBL between high and moderate tutor performance’s group (p=0,000; p=0,000), high and low tutor performance’s group (p=0.007, p=0,008), but not significant difference between moderate and low tutor performance’s group (p=0,111, 0,280).Conclusion: Tutor performance is related to higher level of student’s self study and report process in PBL.

Abstract

Pemanasan global dan semakin tingginya harga bahan bakar minyak untuk operasional kendaraan menjadikan kendaraan konvensional mulai tidak menarik. Namun, karena tidak adanya pilihan lain (ketersediaan kendaraan listrik di pasaran) dengan terpaksa kendaraan konvensional masih menjadi pilihan utama masyarakat.  Solusi untuk menanggulanginya yaitu dengan menghadirkan kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan dengan bahan bakar listrik. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan sebuah sistem kontrol motor DC berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino. Sistem ini kemudian diaplikasikan pada sebuah prototipe kendaraan listrik Raden Intan 2. Pada pengujian ini, kecepatan ditahan pada rerata 35 km/jam. Sistem kontrol motor DC ini berjalan paralel dengan throttle dari pengendara. Pengendara akan memiliki kebebasan untuk mengatur throttle selama kecepatan masih di bawah batas atas 40 km/jam Pemakaian energi dari baterai akan tergantung dari throttle yang dikendalikan oleh pengendara dan auto cut off system yang dikendalikan Arduino. Apabila kecepatan melebihi ambang batas maka sistem auto cut off akan mengambil alih fungsi throttle dari pengendara..

Abstract

Insekta merupakan kelompok dominan organisme di bumi, dalam hal keragaman taksonomi dan memiliki fungsi ekologis yang penting, namun sedikit sekali diketahui baik jenis maupun perilakunya (Wilson,1992). Oleh karena diperlukan pengembangan teknologi baru yang berguna untuk sensus serangga. Dimana teknologi baru yang dikembangkan pada riset ini berupa teknologi insect trap berbasis UAVyang dapat bergerak sehingga dapat melakukan sensus serangga ke beberapa tempat.  Sensus dapat dilakukan untuk serangga yang berada pada ketinggian rendah maupun tinggi. Survei populasi serangga yang biasa dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode jelajah dengan rute survei yang dipetakan dengan menggunakan GPS (Soekardi et al., 2013) tidak dapat menjangkau serangga pada ketinggian lebih dari 5 meter.  Maka wahana baru ini akan lebih efektif dan efesien dalam melakukan survei serangga pada ketinggian. Teknologi insect trap yang dapat bergerak merupakan pengembangan teknologi baru yang dapat digunakan untuk sensus serangga dalam melakukan identifikasi spesies-spesies baru serangga yang ada di alam khususnya serangga yang lingkungan hidupnya di udara.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKromium merupakan logam berat yang dilarang penggunaannya dalam sediaan kosmetik. Efek logam kromium apabila terpapar pada kulit dapat menyebabkan dermatitis, oedema dan borok yang dapat meluas pada kulit. Analisis logam kromium (Cr) pada sediaan perona pipi (Blush On) secara Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom telah dilakukan. Masing-masing sampel didestruksi terlebih dahulu dengan cara destruksi kering, kemudian sampel dilarutkan dengan asam nitrat 6 N, larutan sampel diukur serapannya dengan alat Spektrofotometer Serapan Atom menggunakan lampu katoda berongga kromium pada panjang gelombang 357,9 nm. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sampel merek IZ, VV, KS, MC terdeteksi mengandung logam kromium dengan kadar berturut-turut adalah 10,05 ± 0,05 µg/g; 6,74 ± 0,02 µg/g; 28,95 ± 0,19 µg/g; 13,52 ± 0,63 µg/g. Data menunjukan bahwa adanya kromium pada semua sampel.Kata kunci: logam; kromium; perona pipi; spektrofotometri serapan atom ABSTRACTChromium is a heavy metal which is prohibited from using it in cosmetic preparations. Effects of chromium metal, when exposed to the skin, can cause dermatitis, oedema and ulcers that can extend to the skin. Analysis of chromium (Cr) metal in blush preparations by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry was carried out. Each sample was first destructed by dry destruction, then the sample was dissolved with 6 N nitric acid, the absorption of the sample solution was measured by an atomic absorption spectrophotometer using a chromium hollow cathode lamp at a wavelength of 357.9 nm. The results showed that all samples under the IZ, VV, KS and MC brands were detected containing chromium metal with levels of 10.05 ± 0.05 μg/g respectively; 6.74 ± 0.02 µg/g; 28.95 ± 0.19 µg/g; 13.52 ± 0.63 µg/g. Data shows that the presence of chromium in all samples.Keywords: metal; chromium; blush; atomic absorption spectrophotometry.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a Field-Guide Application of Butterflies’ Species at University of Lampung based on Android. This application is expected to be used as a means of information to determine the classification, family, local name, morphology, butterflies’ food and the benefits of butterflies at University of Lampung. This study uses Waterfall Method and design of Unified Modeling Language (UML), as well as using Black Box Testing to test functional and application. Data in this study consisted of primary data including name of butterfly families, local names, butterfly images (caterpillar, butterfly), descriptions of butterfly species; and secondary data including information about the application, families, local names, butterfly images and descriptions of butterflies (sub-family, genus, species, wingspan, flying speed and food) at University of Lampung. This study uses 5 categories of families and 37 species of butterflies at University of Lampung.The result of the research shows: Equivalence Partitioning Testing result shows that the Application Butterfly of Unila is compatible with all Android OS versions with minimum requirements are 4.0 inch, 4.5 inch, 5.0 inch, 5.5 to 6 inch resolution and based on the classes tested, it indicates that Application Butterfly of Unila works properly.The average of user friendly user ratings obtained is 4.11 included in either category. The average assessment of the interactive variables obtained is 4.08 included in either category. The result of testing data based on user friendly and interactive variable indicates that the application is included in category of Good and tend to Very Good.

Abstract

This research method is an experiment with the design of Two Group Pretest-Post test Design. The sample of this study were 20 athletes taken with total sampling technique. The agility measure instrument used in this study is the Illinois Agility Run Test. Data analysis technique used is t test. The results showed that (1) There was aneffect of exercise usings and media against agility Bina Darma basketball athletes, with significance 0.00 <0.05. (2) There is an effect of agility exercise using water media against the agility of Bina Darma basket ball players, with the significance of 0.03 <0.05. (3) There is a difference in the effect of agility exercise using sand and water media against the agility of Bina Darma basket ball players, with the significance of 0.00 <0.005. To improve agility more precisely if practiced using sand media.

Abstract

Electrical system body has a role important in a vehicle that is as the main lighting when traveling at night as well as cues to signal to other drivers when turning and braking and honking horns as one element of safety in a vehicle as a whole. Lighting systems (lighting system) divided into 2 of the lighting system inside and outside lighting system. A microcontroller is a microprocessor that is devoted to instrumentation and control. Microprocessor is a digital electronic device that has inputs and outputs as well as control with a program that can be written and erased in a special way. Microcontroller is a chip in the form of IC (Integrated Circuit) that can receive input signals, process them and provide an output signal in accordance with a program that is loaded into it ". Microcontroller input signal coming from the sensor that is information from the environment while the output signal addressed to the actuator to give effect to the environment. arduino is an electronic kit or open source electronic circuit board in which there is a major component, ie a chip AVR microcontroller with the type of company Atmel.Tujuan of this design can be used as a medium of learning in SMK Negeri 1 KETAPANG LAMPUNG SOUTH particular subjects electrical system Toyota kijang car vehicle body super. The design was carried out from April to the month of July 2017 at the Workshop School SMK Negeri 1 KETAPANG, located in the village Berundung, Parit 8, District of Ketapang, SOUTH LAMPUNG district.
