Abstract

school physics teaching materials problem-oriented topics fluid wetlands through approach Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) has not been optimally used in SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. This adversely affects the learning outcomes. Therefore research material development through an approach Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) which aims to develop teaching materials such as lesson plans, worksheets, THB, and material teaching approach Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL). The specific objective of the research to result in: (1) the validity of teaching materials school physics problem-oriented topics fluid wetlands through Contextual Teaching And Learning approach; (2) the practicality of teaching materials school physics problem-oriented topics fluid wetlands through Contextual Teaching And Learning approach, and (3) the effectiveness of teaching materials-oriented high school physics topics fluid wetland problem through an approach Contextual Teaching And Learning. Development of research methods to the design of Dick and Carey. Data obtained through the instrument validation sheet materials, instruments keterlaksanaan RPP observation sheets, and test. The results showed that: (1) teaching materials declared invalid by the high category. (2) teaching materials developed otherwise practical with very good category. (3) teaching materials developed that was declared effective in the high category. Research concluded that high school physics teaching materials problem-oriented topics fluid wetlands through approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is declared unfit for use.

Abstract

During this time of learning in school are still conventional, so it causes the students’ sciences process kills. To that end made efforts to improve sciences process skills using the experiment methods that has a specific purpose describe; (1) the feasibility RPP through the experiment methods  (2) the students sciences process skills through the experiment methods and (3) student learning outcomes after the implementation the experiment methods. This type of research is a classroom action research using the Kemmis & Taggart model design. Data collection techniques such as observation, assessment, tests and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques such as qualitative and quantitative. results showed: (1) feasibility RPP reached done very well, (2) increased The students’ sciences process skills with good category, (3) improved student learning outcomes with classical completeness amounted to 86.21%. So it can  concluded that the experiment methods can improving students sciences process skills class X MS 5 SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Kurangnya antusias siswa dalam menyimak, menyampaikan pendapat, dan rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation pada materi cahaya dan alat optik. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) aktivitas belajar, dan (3) hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Hopkins, terdiri atas dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus dua pertemuan. Perangkat dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah silabus, RPP, hand out, LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Data diperoleh melalui tes dan pengamatan, dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu 77,98% (baik) pada siklus I 95,45% (sangat baik) pada siklus II; (2) aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I berkategori aktif, dan pada siklus II berkategori sangat aktif; (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu 75% (tuntas) pada siklus II 91% (tuntas). Diperoleh simpulan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin pada materi cahaya dan alat optik meningkat saat diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI). Kata kunci: Kooperatif tipe group investigation, PTK, cahaya dan alat optik, aktivitas belajar, dan hasil belajar. Abstract: The lack of students’ enthusiasm in listening, giving opinion, and the low learning outcomes in the science subjects underlid this research which aimed to improve.  The general object of this research is to imptove students’ learning activity through cooperative learning model of group investigation type on the teaching material of light and optical instrument. Specific objectives of the study were to describe: (1) the implementation of RPP, (2) the learning activities, and (3) the learning outcomes. This study was a classroom action research with Hopkins model, consisting of two cycles with two meetings of each. The research equipments and instruments used were a syllabus, RPP, hand out, LKPD, observation sheets of learning activity and student activity. The data obtained through the test and observation was analysed qualitative and quantitative descriptively. The research findings were: (1) the implementation of RPP was 77,98% (good) in the cycle I and 95,45% (very good) in the cycle II; (2) the students’ learning activity in the cycle I was categorized as active and in the cycle II was categorized as very active; (3) students’ learning outcomes in the cycle I was 75% (complete) and in the cycle II was 91% (thorough). The conclusion was that VIII G students’ learning activity of State Junior High School 1 of Banjarmasin on the material of light and optical instruments increased when cooperative learning model of group investigation (GI) was applied.

Abstract

Application of learning model strategy in school is not in accordance with that expected to cause student learning outcomes is low. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through direct teaching models. This study has a specific purpose to describe: (1) RPP implementation during teaching and learning activities, (2) students procedural skills, and (3) student learning outcomes. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 26 Banjarmasin refers to the design of research flow PTK Kemmis and Mc Tagart with the subject of research is the students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 26 Banjarmasin. Data obtained through observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis through quantitative anda qualitative descriptive. The resulrs showed that: (1) the implementation of RPP during the learning process through direct teaching model increased that is inn cycle I the percentage of implementation of RPP of 91,01% with very good category and on the second cycle of 96,33% with very good category, (2) students’ procedural skill are also classically increased, in cycle I percentage of 85,41% with very skilled category to be 95,48% in cycle II with highly skilled category, (3) student learning outcomes increase classically ie in cycle I percentage of learning outcomes students 62,5% with unfinished category to 87,5% with complete category in cycle II. The conclusion is obtained that through the direct teaching model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan masih tergolong rendah, hal ini diduga model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di sekolah belum mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan melalui pembelajaran guided inquiry. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mengetahui keterlaksanaan RPP, keterampilan proses sains, dan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan guided inquiry. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP pada siklus I sebesar 3,71; siklus II sebesar 3,75; siklus III sebesar 3,87 dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) keterampilan proses sains siswa berkategori sangat baik, (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 79,17%; siklus II sebesar 91,67%; siklus III sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan temuan diperoleh simpulan bahwa model pembelajaran guided inquiry dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Marabahan.                                                                                        The science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School is still relatively low, it is suspected that school applied learning model not able to improve the science process skill. The purpose of this research is improve the science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School utilize guided inquiry. The specific purpose is record feasibility the learning plans, science process skill, and student’s learning outcomes. Type of research is classroom action research. Collecting data through observation, learning outcomes test, and documentation. The results were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The findings of the research are: (1) feasibility of learning plans in the first cycle is 3,71; in the second cycle is 3,75; in the third cycle is 3,87 with a very good category, (2) science process skill is categorized very good, (3) student’s learning outcomes in the first cycle is 79,17%; in the second cycle is 91,67%; in the third cycle is 100%. Based on the findings obtained the conclusion  that guided inquiry can improve the science process skill of class X-science of Marabahan Senior High School.

Abstract

Abstract: The lowness of students’ analysis skill and scientific attitude in the class of X-1 of SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin in physics learning became the background of this study. Therefore, this study proposed the solution by implementing Explicit Instruction model together with Practicum method. Using the Hopskin model, the type of the study is a class action research study that comprise of two cycles. Every cycle has the stages of make plan, action/observe, and reflection. The data were collected through test, observation, questionaire, and documentation. The data were analyzed in the way of descriptive-qualitative and quantitative. The study result showed that: (1) the implementation of Lesson Plan (RPP) was improved from good category in cycle I to very good category in cycle II. (2) students’ study result has improved according to classical mastery, from not fullfilled in cycle I (individual mastery was only 40%) to mastered in cycle II (individual mastery was 89%), (3) students’ analysis skill has improved from 40% in cycle I to 89% in cycle II, (4) students’ scientific attitude was also improved from 87.1% in cycle I to 94% in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the analysis skill and scientific attitude of students in the class of X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin in dynamic electric topic can be improved through the Explicit Instruction model together with practicum model.  Keywords: Analysis skill, scientific attitude, explicit instruction, prakticum, dynamic electric. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan analisis dan sikap ilmiah siswa kelas X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin pada pembelajaran fisika. Oleh karena itu peneliti mengajukan solusi permasalahan dengan  mengimplementasikan model explicit instruction dengan metode praktikum. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Hopskin yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan/observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui tes, observasi,  angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Keterlaksanaan RPP meningkat dari kategori baik pada siklus I menjadi berkategori sangat baik pada siklus II, (2) Hasil belajar siswa meningkat berdasarkan ketuntasan klasikal dari tidak tuntas pada siklus I (ketuntasan individu hanya 40%) menjadi tuntas secara klasikal pada siklus II  (ketuntasan individu sebesar 89%), (3) Kemampuan analisis siswa meningkat dari  40% pada siklus I menjadi 89% pada siklus II,  (4) Sikap ilmiah siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari  87,1% pada siklus I menjadi  94% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan analisis dan sikap ilmiah siswa kelas X-1 SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin pada materi ajar listrik dinamis dapat ditingkatkan melalui model explicit instruction metode praktikum. Katakunci: Kemampuan analisis, sikap ilmiah, explicit instruction,  praktikum, listrik dinamis
