Abstract

Instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains siswa masih belum tersedia dengan baik sehingga guru masih kesulitan dalam menilai kemampuan keterampilan proses sains siswa dikarenakan harus memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk mengamati siswa satu persatu melalui lembar observer. Untuk itu dilakukan pengembangan instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains siswa yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) validitas instrumen kognitif, (2) reliabilitas instrumen kognitif, dan (3) tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik analisis data berupa validasi instrumen kognitif, reliabilitas instrumen kognitif, dan tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen kognitif, menggunakan analisis program Rasch. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Validitas instrumen yang dikembangkan tergolong dalam kategori valid (2) Reliabilitas instrumen yang dikembangkan tergolong istimewa, dan (3) Tingkat kesukaran butir soal instrumen yang dikembangkan terbagi dalam empat tingkatan yaitu 2 butir soal kategori sangat sulit, 2 butir soal kategori sulit, 4 butir soal kategori mudah, dan 1 butir soal kategori sangat mudah. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa instrumen kognitif keterampilan proses sains yang dikembangkan berkualitas digunakan dalam evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Jika dimulai saat ini, siswa yang sedang menempuh pendidikan pada 2016/2017 yang pada saat nanti tahun 2045 berusia 30 hingga 40 tahun yang disebut mencapai usia produktif, generasi emas. Pada tahun 2045, dari berbagai sumber dikatakan memiliki “bonus” demografi yang terus berlanjut dan akan berkontribusi atau sebaliknya berbencana pada berbagai sektor. Momen mengubah bangsa ini menjadi kaya, produktif dan daya saing besar, kuat, serta indah potensi dan prospeknya dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan. Salah satu cara untuk membentuk siswa yang kreatif, kompetitif, sprotif dan bertangggung jawab adalah melalui perlombaan. Physics Competition (Physton) merupakan perlombaan di bidang Fisika dengan sasaran pelajar sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas, yang diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Tujuan dari kegiatan physton ini meningkatkan semangat belajar fisika siswa sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas, serta mengukur sejauh mana tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap permasalahan dan konsep fisika yang tertuang dalam bentuk soal-soal hitungan, konsep, dan praktikum/percobaan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan terbentuknya  siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan fisika guna mencapai generasi emas Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe aspects of students 'abilities in solving problems of students' scientific literacy problems based on the RASCH model. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design with survey research methods. The research subjects were 33 students of class XII IPA 2 of SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques were carried out by using a scientific literacy test consisting of 9 items about the description of dynamic electrical matter. The results of the research data were analyzed using the RASCH model using the Winstep program to obtain logit values. The results showed that the average student logit value was 1.75 logit, this value was less than 0.0 logit. This indicates that students' ability to solve scientific literacy questions is still low, so students need to be trained in scientific literacy through classroom learning.

Abstract

Student learning achievement does not only depend on students' ability to solve problems. Learning achievement also depends on the suitability of the good questions, so the questions need to be tested for empirical validity. This study aims to analyze the problem of critical thinking skills. The research method is quantitative descriptive method. The subjects of the trial were 32 students of class XII IPA in high school in the city of Banjarmasin. The technique of collecting data uses a test of critical thinking skills. The results of the research data are processed using the RASCH model with the Winstep program to obtain information related to infit, outfit, and undimensionality items. The results showed that with the mean MNSQ OUTFIT criteria of 1.07, ZSTD OUTFIT 0, reliability based on item separation was 1.78 with special categories and proved to be fit tests with the model. The reliability of the question using apron cronbach is 0.64. Based on the RASCH analysis there are 3 questions that are outliert. The results of the study show that critical thinking skills in dynamic electrical material can be used with improvement.

Abstract

[Title: Development of Physics Cognitive Instruments Of Junior High School Students]  This study aims to develop cognitive instruments on energy and business materials, simple aircraft and light quality. The specific purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the validity of cognitive instruments seen from Outfit MNSQ, ZSTD, and Pt Measure Corr; (2) the reliability of cognitive instruments seen from the values of individual separation, grain separation, and Cronbach Alpha; (3) the degree of difficulty seen from the logit value in the measurement column; This development research refers to the development model of Borg and Gall with the subject of research of 200 students of class VIII originating from several SMPN in Banjarmasin. Instrument collecting data in the form of validation and cognitive instruments. Data analysis techniques are descriptive and quantitative. The results showed: (1) five items of description on light material, nine items about the description of simple plane materials and nine items about the description of energy materials and businesses that are categorized as valid; (2) reliability of cognitive instruments seen from individual separation values, grain separation values, and Cronbach Alpha values are categorized as very reliable; (3) the difficulty level of questions seen from the logit of categorized is very difficult, difficult, easy, and very easy.
