Abstract

The research use Borg asnd Galls R&D method was conducted with the purpose to develop assessment base on science process skill on buffer solution topic and to describe the teachers and students responses about the developed assessment. Assessment was developed in the form of a written test question which it consist of 10 the multiple choice and 6 the description question. Base on validation result to developed assessment, it was obtained the percentage of readability, construction, and content suitability aspect were 83.08%; 83.16%; and 80%, respectively. Base on teachers responses to readability, construction, and content suitability aspect were 86.17%; 87.37%; and 83.33%. In other hand, student give responses to readability aspect equal to 85.7%. The trial results of the students assessment showed that developed assessment was valid and reliability "very high" on multiple choice questions and a "high" in the problem description, it means that the assessment is valid or feasible to use.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan asesmen berbasis keterampilan proses sains dan mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru serta respon siswa mengenai asesmen. Asesmen yang dikembangkan berupa soal tes tertulis yang terdiri dari 10 soal pilihan jamak dan 6 soal uraian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg dan Gall. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli terhadap asesmen yang dikembangkan, diperoleh persentase pada aspek keterbacaan, konstruksi, dan kesesuaian isi materi yaitu 83,08%, 83,16%, 80%. Berdasarkan persentase tanggapan guru pada aspek keterbacaan, konstruksi dan kesesuaian isi berturut-turut sebesar 86,15%, 87,37%, dan 83,33%, sedangkan persentase respon siswa pada aspek keterbacaan sebesar 85,7%. Hasil uji coba asesmen kepada siswa menunjukkan bahwa asesmen yang dikembangkan valid dan reliabilitasnya sangat tinggi pada soal pilihan jamakdan tinggi pada soal uraian, artinya asesmen tersebut valid atau layak digunakan.Kata kunci : asesmen, keterampilan proses sains, larutan penyangga
