Abstract

Areca vestiaria Giseke is an endemic palm and the main component of tropical rain forest in Wallacea region. The study of autecology of A. vestiaria at the lowland forest has never been done. This study was aimed to observe the biotic and abiotic factors surround the habitat A. vestiaria.. The results indicated that there were a number of plants growing surrounding A. vestiaria, but the highest important Value Index at the level tree, sapling, pole and seedling was Polyalthia glauca Boerl. with the IVI 59.04%, Semecarpus forstenii Blume. (66.90%), Polyalthia glauca Boerl. (82.95%) and Arenga undulatifolia (32.92%), respectively. Ordo Hymenoptera and Lepidoptera insects found on A. vestiaria during the observation time. Soil at observed area had pH value of 6.9 while N, P and organic matter concentration in the soil were 0.40%, 4.46 mg/g and 7.22%, respectively. Areca vestiaria grew under light intensity of 1005.5 lux, humidity of 89.3% and average daily temperature of 24.7%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis jumlah hasil rata-rata pengembalian investasi pada industri Meubel CV. Maradda Kecamatan Masamba Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Metode analisis data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan Metode Avarage Rate Of Rettrun (ARR), Payabac Period (PP).Hasil penelitian maka dapat di analisis rata-rata pengembalian investasi awal setiap tahun sebesar 26,69%.Jika hasil rata-rata pengembalian investasi yang diharapkan sebesar 20% sesuai dengan suku bunga pinjaman dari lembaga keuangan (Bank) yang berlaku pada tahun yang sama setiap tahun, maka usulan investasi layak diterima karena hasil analisis diperoleh 26,69% per tahun lebih besar dari pada ARR yang diharapkan.Analisis investasi dengan menggunakan metode payback period (PP) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu (tahun) pengembalian investasi awal. Berdasarkan data tersebut di atas, maka selanjunya Payback Period (PP) dapat di analisis dengan asumsi bahwa laba setelah pajak (proceeds) stabil setiap tahun selama 3 tahun 8 bulan 29 hari. Kemudian Hasil analisis Dengan Metode Payback Periods (waktu pengembalian investasi awal) selama 3 tahun 8 bulan 29 hari. Sedangkan umur ekonomis investasi 10 tahun, maka usulan investasi sangat layak karena waktu pengembalian investasi lebih cepat dari pada umur ekonomis investasi pada industri meubel Cv. Maradda.Dengan demikian, maka diusulkan untuk diterima dan dilanjutkan kegiatan operasionalnya.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari exploratory fitness education terhadap kontrol diri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi PJKR FKIP Universitas Galuh Ciamis. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 orang mahasiswa yang terdiri dari laki-laki 46 orang dan perempuan 10 orang.  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket yang diadaptasi dari Social Scale Rating System (SSRS) yang dikembangkan oleh Frank M. Gresham & Stephen N. Elliott (1990). Penilaian dengan SSRS fokus dalam beberapa area yakni Keterampilan sosial (Social Skills), terdiri dari sub indikator : kerjasama, sikap tegas, tanggung jawab, empati dan kontrol diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji paired t test, sig 2 tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum perlakuan dengan setelah perlakuan. Kesimpulan peneilitian diketahui bahwa exlporatory fitness education memliki dampak terhadap nilai kontrol diri pada mahasiswa. Hal ini terjadi karena dalam exlporatory fitness education memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk bisa mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimilikinya semaksimal mungkin. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan cara berkelompok memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kontrol diri dalam diri mereka.Keyword : exploratory fitness education, kontrol diri AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of exploratory fitness education on self control. This research is an experimental research. The population in this study were students of PJKR Study Program FKIP Galuh Ciamis University. The sample in this study amounted to 56 students consisting of 46 men and 10 women. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire adapted from the Social Scale Rating System (SSRS) developed by Frank M. Gresham & Stephen N. Elliott (1990). Assessment with SSRS focuses in several areas, namely Social Skills (Social Skills), consisting of sub-indicators : cooperation, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy and self-control. The results showed that the paired t test, sig 2 tailed was 0,000 < 0,05 which means that there was a difference between before treatment and after treatment. The conclusion of the study is that exlporatory fitness education has an impact on the value of self-control in students. This happens because in the exlporatory fitness education provides an opportunity for students to be able to develop their knowledge and skills as much as possible. The learning approach carried out in groups provides opportunities for students to develop self-control skills within themselves.

Abstract

Apple vinegar is estimated to be able to cure diabetes. Vinegar is able to control the increase of glicemic index. Apple has antioxidant substance such as quercetin and chlorogenic acid. Manalagi apple could be found easily in Indonesia.            This research aims to reveal the effect of Manalagi apple vinegar (Malus sylvestris Mill) towards blood glucose level of alloxan induced Wistar white male rats (Rattus norvegicus).            This research is experimental laboratory using Experimental methods. The samples are 30 white rats divided into three groups for 31 days, 1) group which only given standard diet; 2) group that induced by 120mg/dL alloxan; 3) group that induced by 120mg/dL alloxan and Manalagi apple vinegar 0.27ml/100gram weight for 14 days. The measurement of blood serum glucose level is done on day twenty four using homogenous colorimetric enzymatic test method for all groups.            Blood glucose average in group with only given standard diet as negative control group (182.33 mg/dL), group which induced by 120mg/dL alloxan as positive control group (205.2 mg/dL), group which induced by 120mg/dL alloxan and Manalagi apple vinegar as treatment group (212.25 mg/dL). The result of One-Way Anova significance is 0.229.            The conclusion of this research is that Manalagi apple vinegar treatment doesn’t able to decrease the blood glucose level of white Wistar male rats significantly. Keywords : Malus sylvestris Mill, Blood glucose, Alloxan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pelaksanaanketerampilan dasar mengajar guru geografi khususnya dalam aspek keterampilanmemberi penguatan, pengelolaan kelas, dan keterampilan bertanya guru di SMA KartikaXX-2 Kota Kendari. Sebagian besar indikator yang terdapat dalam keterampilan dasarmemberi penguatan pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA Kartika XX-2 Kota Kendaritelah dilaksanakan yaitu berkaitan dengan indikator : penguatan verbal dan penguatannon verbal. Sebagian besar indikator yang terdapat dalam keterampilan dasarpengelolaan kelas pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA Kartika XX-2 Kota Kendari telahdilaksanakan yaitu berkaitan dengan indikator keterampilan yang berhubungan denganpenciptaan kondisi belajar yang optimal (Preventif). Semua indikator yang terdapatdalam keterampilan dasar bertanya pada pembelajaran geografi di SMA Kartika XX-2Kota Kendari telah dilaksanakan yaitu keterampilan bertanya dasar dan keterampilanbertanya lanjutan. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of addition of carrots on Ceara-Rubber (Manihot Glaziovii Muell) crackers on the acceptability level. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of five formulas, respectively namely K (1000 g of Ceara-Rubber flour), P1 (600 g of Ceara-Rubber flour: 400 g of carrot), P2 (700 g of Ceara-Rubber flour: 300 g of carrots), P3 (800 g of Ceara-Rubber flour: 200 g of carrots), and P4 (900 g of Ceara-Rubber flour: 100 g of carrots). The test of acceptability was done consisting of colour, flavour, taste and texture. It was carried out on 40 untrained panelists. Data analysis was done by one-way Anova, with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that the addition of carrots to sweet potato crackers significantly affected the texture attributes, and overall organoleptic assessment, but did not affect on the acceptability of the attributes of colour, taste, and flavour. Based on the overall organoleptic assessment, formula P2 was the most preferred product. Keywords: Carrots, Ceara-Rubber (manihot glaziovii muell), crackers. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian wortel terhadap daya terima kerupuk ubi karet. Pelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari lima formula, yaitu: K (tepung ubi kayu karet 1000 g), P1 (tepung ubi kayu karet 600 g : wortel 400 g), P2 (tepung ubi kayu karet 700 g : wortel 300 g), P3 (tepung ubi kayu karet 800 g : wortel 200 g), dan P4 (tepung ubi kayu karet 900 g : wortel 100 g). Uji daya terima terdiri dari warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur dilakukan terhadap 40 panelis tidak terlatih. Analisa data menggunakan one-way Anova, dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan wortel pada kerupuk ubi kayu karet berpengaruh nyata pada atribut tekstur, dan penilaian organoleptik keseluruhan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap daya terima atribut warna, rasa, dan aroma. Berdasarkan penilaian organoleptik keseluruhan, formula P2 adalah produk yang paling disukai. Kata kunci: Wortel,ubi kayu karet, kerupuk. PENDAHULUAN

Abstract

Alkohol adalah cairan bening, mudah menguap dan aroma khas aroma panas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kadar alkohol dalam singkong yang telah difermentasi selama 4 hari dan 7 hari, tentang pengaruh lama fermentasi terhadap kadar alkohol singkong yang difermentasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dan dilakukan di laboratorium untuk mengetahui kadar alkohol dalam singkong yang telah difermentasi selama 4 hari dan 7 hari. Dari analisis terhadap 10 sampel singkong yang difermentasi menunjukkan bahwa kadar alkohol dalam singkong difermentasi untuk 4 hari berkisar dari 6.020 hingga 6.334% dan difermentasi selama 7 hari 13.501-13.991%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh lama fermentasi etanol terhadap ubi kayu. Etanol singkong selama fermentasi selama 4 hari berjumlah 6,020 hingga 6,334%, sedangkan selama 7 hari kadar etanol fermentasi meningkat sebesar 13,501 menjadi 13,991% kegunaannya sebagai bahan informasi publik kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the effect of smoking on cholesterol levels 2 hours after smoking in active smokers. By knowing cholesterol levels before smoking and 2 hours after smoking. The method used in this study is colorimetric enzymatic CHOD-PAP which is a method of measuring cholesterol levels in the blood that uses the help of 3 enzymes, namely: cholesterol esterase, cholesterol oxidase and peroxidase.From the results of 10 samples of cholesterol examination conducted at the D-3 Laboratory of Health Analysts at the University of East Indonesia Makassar, and analyzed by t-test it can be concluded that there was no effect of an increase in cholesterol levels on active smokers 2 hours after smoking with t count (-2,675) &lt;ttabel (2,262) at the significance level of 0.05, then H0 is accepted. Based on the conclusions above, it can be suggested for future researchers to be able to examine other lipid levels such as HDL, LDL or triglycerides for active smokers to see the effect of smoking on blood fat levels.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the diversity and the function of languages used in the interaction of selling and buying in complex of Palu Plaza, and factor caused the language diversity. Data source were obtained through verbal utterances of seller and buyer in complex of Palu Plaza by using study of communication ethnography. Method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through four techniques: recording, field-note, observation, and interview unstructured. Subject of this research is the seller and the buyer in Palu Plaza. Technique of data analysis used is interactive model that covers four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The result of this research revealed that the language diversity used in the interaction between seller and buyer in Palu Plaza is: (1) the form of word use, (2) the use of phrase, (3) the use of sentence. Functions of language diversity found in this research are: (1) emotive function, (2) fatigue function, and (3) directive function. Factors caused the diversity are: (1) age factor, (2) factor of regional origin, (3) gender factor, (4) education factor, (5) factor of occupation/profession, and (6) factor of social status.

Abstract

This research aims at producing media based-learning history through website use to the twelfth Grade Students at TKJ 2 SMK Negeri 1 Banawa Donggala Regency. The media developed was consisteds of two component,such as: material and learning media. The development was carried out through berg model and Gall model. The media developed was validated by material expert and media expert. The result of validation revealed that the media is in category of very good. Therefore, it can beconcluded that the development of media-based learning history through website use is proper to improve concept understanding in learning process.
