ABSTRACT The objective of this research is aimed to know what are the most strategies and classroom management which are used by Preservice English Teacher at STAIN Curup in the academic year 2016/2017. The total of English Teacher was 7 teachers which as cooperating teacher of 17 preservice English Teacher. The types of english teaching strategies used by preservive English teacher were: (1) Task-Based Language Learning (100%) and (2) Cooperative Learning (100%); (3) Grapic Organizers (29%); (4) Technology (5.8%); (5) Roleplay (5.8%); (6) Storytelling (11.7%); (7) Vocabulary Building (11.7%); (8) Summarizing and Notetaking (5.8%); and (9) Analysis of Student Work (5.8%). The most strategies used by preservice english teacher (>50%) were Task-Based Language Learning and Cooperative Learning (100%). The types of classroom management used by preservive English teacher were: (1) Maintaning Discipline (58.5%), (2) giving feedback (100%), and classroom interaction (17.6%). This study was aimed at investigating whether or not there was a significant difference in the students’ reading achievement after they were taught by using the Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy. A quasiexperimental design (non equivalent pre-test and post-test control design) was used in this study. Fifty six out of 145 seventh grade students of MTsN Lumpatan were purposively taken as the sample. There were 28 students in the experimental group and 28 students in the control group (N=56). The data was collected through reading test and analyzed by using t-test, multiple regression, and pearson product moment. The results showed the students who treated by using the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) strategy achieved a higher mean score of reading achievement (79.71) than the students who did not use the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) strategy. The basis of character education in Islamic education is derived from the word akhlaq in plural form of khuluq which according to language is interpreted character, behavior, behavior or character. Essentially, character in education is the spirit in the Islamic education. Islamic education and character in education create students with better characters and values. It is clear that Islamic education with detailed guidance will never leave the content of Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah that in line with the character in education, in example building the students with good moral. There are seven characters that should be had by students namely emphaty, conscience, self control, respect, kidness, tolerance, and justice. The success of Islamic education does not depend on one component only but also all of education components.

ICT is information and communication technology. These technology are telephony, CD ROM, audio or video clips, radio, television, broadcasting, computer, and internet. The most common technology used by people is computer and internet. Internet has an important role in our life. We can find everything using an internet connection. The internet has two effects for students: positive and negative. This paper only focuses on negative effects because it is very dangerous. One of the negative effects using internets is pornography. Pornography is very dangerous for students since it can decrease students’ morality. For this condition, teachers become an important person who have significant roles in avoiding the pornography affects the students. The  teachers have authority to control and monitors students’ activity, at least at school, where students spend most of their time. One of effective ways to avoid pornography is through giving a sex education to the students in which they will get information about what are they have to do and not.

Abstract This paper showed the language learning method in teaching disabilities students with dyslexia problem. In this article the main focus is how to teach the dyslexia students in reading skill. Furthermore, in this study also explain the causes of dyslexia which are neurological and cognitive factor. Beside of that, the characteristics of children with dyslexia divided into two stages: early childhood (preschool or kindergarten, Grade 1-3, and Grade 4-8) and middle childhood with dyslexia (High school, college, and adult). And the last teacher has important role in teaching for the students with reading disabilities and difficulties (dyslexia). Teacher can guide the student in learning, give them an interesting activities by using good strategy. Keyword: Reading Skill, Dyslexia, and Language Learning.

Islam has given mercy to the development of languages, traditions, culture and arts found in various regions in Indonesia. Islam rahmatan lil alamin appears in the form of development and wealth of knowledge. However, Indonesia is not a religious country, but religious values are very dominant and very animating to the people in their personal lives, family, community, nation and state. Moreover, in the context of Indonesia, a country that is predominantly Muslim and becomes the foundation of the advancement of the Islamic world in the future, the spirit of religion cannot be separated from its people. In this case Islam appears as a religion that provides solutions in exclusive life, so as to create harmony that can lead to harmony in life. Tujuan dari penelitian yang berjudul “Analisis Rencana Pelaksanaan Program Pendukung Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah (SKPI) Di STAIN Curup” yauitu sebagai berikut: (1) untuk mengetahui apa saja rencana Program Pendukung SKPI yang telah dirancang oleh setiap program studi di STAIN Curup; (2) untuk mengetahui kendala apa saja yang didapatkan oleh setiap prodi di dalam merencanakan Program Pendukung SKPI di STAIN Curup; dan (3) untuk mengetahui persepsi setiap ketua prodi mengenai Program Pendukung SKPI di STAIN Curup. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari seluruh ketua program studi yang ada di STAIN Curup yang terdiri 10 program studi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti didalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Semua data akan dianalisis oleh beberapa langkah-langkah ini, yaitu mengolah data, membaca, keterangan, mengklasifikasi, menginterpretasikan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Ada beragam program pendukung yang telah dirancang oleh setiap Program Studi di STAIN Curup. Selain itu, setiap program studi memilki program pendukung yang berbeda-beda serta memilki tujuan yang berbeda pula; (2) Masing-masing program studi memilki masalah atau kendala dalam pelaksanaan maupun perencanaan program pendukung SKPI, akan tetapi kendala yang dihadapi secara umum oleh semua program studi yaitu kendala pendanaan; (3) Pada umumnya Ketua Jurusan disemua Program Studi mendukung semua program pendukung SKPI jika program-program tersebut memiliki tujuan yang jelas dan sesuai dengan visi dan misi masing-masing Program Studi tersebut.

The main goal of this study was to investigate about lecturer’s role in teaching speaking for enhancing students’ communication ability. The researcher employed descriptive quantitative method which was to know the students’ perception on lecturers’ roles to achieve students’ communication ability. Then, the researcher chose three lecturers of speaking subject to know about students’ perception on lecturers’ roles in enhancing EFL learners’ communication ability as the purpose of teaching speaking skill. The result shows that the majority of students’ perception was in positive category when the lecturers play the various roles in assisting students to improve their communication ability. However, Lecturer “A” still need to be more maximize his role as need analyst and Lecturer “B” also need to consider his role as manager in teaching speaking, because both of lecturers got neutral perception. Thus, the lecturers’ role is crucial for improving students’ communication ability.

This research is done by the researcher to investigate kinds of ICT used by English lecturers for non-English Study Program students at IAIN Curup and to investigate the roles of ICT for the English lecturer at IAIN Curup. This research used descriptive quantitative Because the questioner's results were evaluated and explained in the explanatory form.The questionnaire used as the instrument to collect the data. Questionnaire about the ICT used by the English lecturers for non-English Study Program students at IAIN Curup and the role of ICT for English Lecturer. Five processes is used to analyze the data from questionnaires in this research. They are (1) data managing of research result, (2) reading/memoing of result, (3) description of result; (4) classifying of research result and (5) interpreting of research result. The result showed that the lecturers always used three types of ICR in teaching English in the classroom, they were the speaker, educational games, and website resources. The reason for them using three types of ICT because it was easy to use and cheap. In using the ICT, the lecturers have a different opinion about About ICT's role in promoting its learning operations. The use of ICT in the teaching and learning system had 7 (seven) roles. It is about the role of ICT in motivating, attracting, and enhancing the success of learners in studying English.
